I had the Phnom Penh Noodle our the "house special" and it tasted just like mom's cooking. So good... coming back very soon to try other dishes. 2nd review: After the first visit, I could not get the broth taste out of my head. It was so darn good, I brought some coworkers to share my experience with. One had the same XL bowl of the house special and he was also hooked to the taste. You don't need to add any hoisin sauce or sriracha sauce. Trust the cook. It's perfect the way it is. Khmer people working or live in the area need to check this place out. This place is pho real ! Delicious family-run shop with amazing dry noodles option. Definitely try the dry!!! They're in a special marinade or something and fantastic. Best Pho in Compton! I found this spot on Yelp which is close to work and it's nom nom nom amazing....so good! Joe and his Wife are the sweetest most charming couple. I had the shrimp pho super spicy ((drooling)) it was so good, I ordered extra noodles for my broth. The broth alone is an Unami explosion of greatness...no lie. I'm going back. Second visit here. Good to see more people coming in and patronizing. The family is Cambodian and there is a slight twist on their soup vs Vietnamese. The first time I came, the proprietor didn't want to put sing rolls on the menu. Looks like he caved to the repeated requests. These are fat and plump and flavorful. This has become my absolute favorite place for pho! This is Cambodian style with house made chile oil, fried garlic and fried shallots. I normally get my pho no onion, but at this place I get it how it's served with fresh white and green onion as well as the fried shallots, it's just too good along with the chile oil. They start u off with one packet of hoisin one hot sauce and one lime, when u ask for more there's this energy as if they want u to eat your soup how they want you to. The lady at the front his wife or whoever she is is just so snobby with me not sure about anyone else. My son had a chicken nugget box in his hand she told us we couldn't eat inside . I've been going here for years and I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. They always run out of soup early in the day and close I'm not sure if these people even want to be running this business . I walked here during my jury duty lunch break and was not disappointed. The establishment is small (6 tables and a counter) but the owners are really friendly and made sure everything tasted great for me. They also made recommendations for me like adding the chili paste and offered more veggies when they saw I was just eating all my bean sprouts I got the number 5 regular (beef brisket pho) and a chrysanthemum tea. The broth is very clean and sweet (maybe because of the fried onions), noodles cooked perfectly, and the brisket is high quality beef (not that stringy cheap beef that you get at cheaper establishments). The tea was lightly sweet and very refreshing. I'm overall very impressed at how unique and clean the broth tasted Def recommend checking out this local restaurant. Super fresh ingredients and a small specialized menu. Located right by the courthouse, there are 8 tables in the whole place; however it doesn't feel crowded. The restaurant seems to be owned and operated by a very friendly family. I ordered the Pho Chicken and requested it dry. The portion is generous and he even brought the broth on the side. I made my own sauce with the essentials that were on the table (chili paste, hoisin, sriracha) squeezed the quarters of fresh lime over the top, tossed in the jalapeños and bean sprouts, and thoroughly enjoyed a great bowl of noodles. As I was eating a woman came to place a to go order and basically customized a noodle dish that wasn't on the menu but the staff was happy to accommodate. Try this new place out. Hopefully the traffic from the courthouse migrates across the street to try a phenomenal new noodle joint. read more

I've been eyeing this spot for a while. I live down the street but work in Carson/Gardena so I never really venture to the hood for my Asian food fix. But I will definitely add this place to my rotation. It's really nice and clean. I hope it succeeds and stays for a while, we need the variety for sure. Had the chicken pho to go. Very tasty. Cant wait to try the others. Also had the "Asian" iced coffee with boba and its amazing! The owner informed me that he makes the espresso shots fresh...which he does indeed cause he has a really nice machine out front. When I lamented that I go to work earlier than they open so I can get coffee, he said he'd be willing to have it ready for me if I come by earlier!
