My favorite restaurant!!!! The service was also smooth and friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly even during a busy time. If you're craving a solid bowl of jajangmyeon, this place is definitely worth trying. I'd come back again without hesitation

Such a humble, simple, brightly lit little spot with the best janjangmyeon I've ever had. It wasn't crowded at 6pm on a Thursday, we were greeted immediately, the friendly lady answered all questions we had. The special janjangmyeon was amazing! I can't stop thinking about it. Noodles are chewy, sauce, veggies, pork are so flavorful, fresh and overall plentiful. The regular janjangmyeon was a bit too sweet for me. Crispy sweet and sour pork was so good and paired so well with the janjangmyeon. I liked how the sauce was on the side because I really didn't need the sauce, but was good to have with every so many bites. Steamed Dumplings were also great, as well as the pickled radish and fresh onions. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back!

Delicious, unassuming gem, with wonderfully warm and hospitable service. The noodles were fresh and soft in both the spicy seafood soup and jiang jiang noodles. Flavors were fantastic, and portion sizes were very large and hearty. The dishes are certainly more carb heavy with a smaller amount of protein. Very reasonable and fair prices. Overall there is a somewhat more limited menu without too many standalone protein dishes (I believe there is a fried chicken dish that seems popular that is often paired with the noodles). Service was fantastic with the kindest servers and workers. Very clean restaurant interior, though it seemed that there were many more take out orders during the evening that we dined in.

The foods are excellent under the new management. Very reasonable price as well. The restaurant inside is so clean and well maintained. I will definitely come again

It was my first time here and was very happy with my visit! My mom and I shared the black bean noodle, sweet and sour pork, and chicken fried rice. Our favorite was the sweet and sour pork. It was lightly fried and the sauce was separate so it could stay crispy! The fried rice was also delicious, but the portion was a little small. The lady working was super sweet and came to check in on us often. Parking was easy as it's located in a plaza with both above ground and underground parking. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for some yummy Korean/Chinese food!

I can't believe I haven't left a review for this restaurant yet! I've been going here for so long because their Korean/Chinese food is the BEST! I like to order the jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup) , jjajamyeon (black bean noodle), and tang suyuk (sweet and sour pork) - it's SO hard to pick only 1 to order because they're equally delicious. You can order to go or dine-in to enjoy the comfy, authentic vibes. The ladies that work here are so friendly and welcoming , it feels like eating at home . I would highly recommend because it is my favorite Korean/Chinese food for the best taste and great value!

    26. Stir-Fried Seafood Shrimp (팔보채) Delicious

This place I absolutely adore. They serve, without a doubt, some of the best ganbbunggi, tangsuyuk, and black bean noodles in town. What really stands out is how thoughtfully the food is prepared, starting with the freshness of the ingredients. I was genuinely impressed by how fresh the shrimp and other seafood tasted. The jjampong even came with a crab leg, which was such a nice and unexpected touch that elevated the entire dish. The fried items were executed perfectly, not soggy at all. Crispy on the outside with that ideal chewy texture inside that you hope for but rarely get. Overall, every dish felt intentional and well-crafted. I highly recommend this spot to anyone craving high-quality Korean-Chinese cuisine.

I do not eat pork, so is it possible for them to make black bean noodles without pork?

Thanks for your question. You can choice special blackbean noodle.we can make only vegetable or beef, seafood instead of pork.

I believe there are chunks of pork belly in the regular, and the "special black bean noodles" have seafood - baby shrimp and squid, I think. There is possibly chicken stock in the sauce base. Not sure if the restaurant is able/open to making it… Read more

It also seemed to include some new items, or at least ones that weren't printed out on the placemats. We've previously tried their cold noodles, galbi, hot stone bimbimbap, tofu soup and seafood pancake. All are pretty good but the cold noodle is our favorite. This time we ordered their fishcake kimbap and the cold noodle and galbi combo. I previously saw photos of their kimbap but didn't see it on their menu until now so I was excited to try it. It comes with 20-24 pieces and a side of soup, quite a lot actually for one person. The kimbap was as expected, it was flavorful, had a slight crunch (from the pickled radish) and didn't fall apart easily while eating. It comes with a dipping sauce but it wasn't particularly noteworthy and I didn't feel it is required to use. The cold noodles were a bit different this time but overall had the same flavor. It comes with half an egg, pickled vegetables, slices of cucumber, and slices of meat in an icy broth with buckwheat noodles. Be sure to add the mustard and vinegar for added flavor. The side of galbi was as expected, but doesn't arrive sizzling like at many other Korean restaurants. The flavor can vary, sometimes more flavorful than other times but overall it still pairs well with the cold noodle. Service can be a bit spotty, especially when they only have one server doing everything. It can be hard to flag someone down so be prepared to sit around for a while if they have less staff and many customers. Overall not a dealbreaker but just something to be aware of.

I thought the bossam combo was definitely worth the money for the pricing and amount of food. Bossam - 100/5, WOW the meat is so tender and flavorful! Don't miss out on the saeu-jeot (fermented shrimp) sauce for a salty and umami packed bite! Tofu soup - 4/5, the fatty pork pieces and zucchini make this such a filling and sweet soup. We gave this place a try because we were excited to see they have Rice Wine here (since most of the mainstream KBBQ places didn't have this), and we were satisfied beyond our expectations. Parking: A very small dim lot next to the restaurant. Right below the small sign that sits above it. Ambience: We came on a Saturday night (7:00pm) expecting busy wait times but we called in and there was no wait! We were immediately seated. It's a very small restaurant, the booths are big enough to fit a family but bigger parties may need to call in to see if space is available. The vibes are especially different from most bigger and popular places but this qualifies as a hidden gem for sure. Service: Quick and nice! Second time coming to a place where they cook it for you at some points and serve you. They check on you often enough and were quick to see you get all that you ordered. Food: Absolutely nothing I've never had before, we knew we wanted brisket and pork belly, we skipped out on the combos + intestine sections bc of this. Luckily our two meat combo qualified us to also receive a soybean paste soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese for free! We additionally added rice paper to our order for a small charge. The menu is vast and I would like to come back here to try their different meats. I have never had a more flavorful brisket in my KBBQ experience before and the pork belly was thick enough and had that chewiness texture that made it so enjoyable. Employee was nice enough to inform us that the soup + steamed egg are carefully cooked with real flavorful ingredients, so expect high-quality. We didn't go into this place expecting AYCE since we believe places that offer à la carte specializes in quality, so please come with the same idea if you choose to go here! Regardless, our small bodies were filled by how much food we received! Overall, I gave this place a chance despite its smaller reviews, smaller atmosphere, and a generally smaller presence this had in comparison to its competitors. I would suggest you do the same too!
