Have you ever told your doctor after he handed you multiple prescriptions, "I dont need this stuff" Well thats where Lowens comes in, I have been so pleased with the service and they actually get to know you. I mean yea sometimes you have to wait for the drugs they are not as fast as other drug dealers..(wink) (wink) hahaha but they are very competent in knowing whats in stock and telling you if you need to come back on special orders. So even if you have to wait they have snacks or some lottery to play. There are not many places like this left in Bay Ridge or Sunset Park. Also for each prescription they will give you this prescription receipt sticker ($1 worth) to use in their Pharmacy. They also have an UPS Access Point here which is very convenient for the community!

I ended up buying just one because I was asked to do so by a friend. They did not scan in the items I wished to purchase and they did not provide a receipt. When I tried confronting them about the markup, they claimed that it was less than what the supplier charged. They added that no one forced me to buy anything and that this was how supply and demand worked. I had actually frequented this pharmacy a few times since it opened (even though there's a RiteAid half a block away) because I prefer to support local businesses. But from now on, I'm sticking to RiteAid.
