The pharmacy was literally closing as we showed up that night, but I really needed those medication's as well as Tylenol and Motrin and tissues and nasal decongestant. My tab probably came to over $40 but the credit card reader was down so they could only take cash. All I had in my wallet was 22 bucks but the pharmacist, a lovely warm black man with the most beautiful smile, told me don't worry about it. I even tried to put back the tissues and stuff, but he wouldn't let me and insisted I take it all. THIS my friends why you want to go to a black owned non chain pharmacy and not a chain store pharmacy. I'm gonna tell you I was near tears. I am gonna miss thanksgiving w my family because my child has the flu bad, and I'm pretty sad to be quarantined up with her instead of cooking for and breaking bread with my family which after this last election I was really looking forward to being w my people. But this beautiful young man with his kind gesture felt like a thanksgiving miracle. I didn't catch his name, but he made my day. And my daughters. You can bet I'm going back there today to pay the difference and bring him some thanksgiving treats. Please people, keep places like this open. Kindness is the great hope of humanity.

This pharmacy staff is professional and they always have my medication. I also like that they are very good with communication and friendly. Only thing I would add, is make it so that customers can have the option of paying their co payments on your website upon delivery in addition to sending a link.

The second I walk up to the counter, no one in line, I stand for five minutes and wait for the one pharmacist to acknowledge my existence. When she finally does she yells across the room asking what I need, I explain that I'm picking up a prescription just sent in. She doesn't ask my name, but instead asks if I'm Sophia. No date of birth question either. She asks for my insurance card and I give it to her. The second she looks at she says it's "medical insurance" not "pharmaceutical" and asks FOUR times if I have any different card in an extremely rude tone. To which I respond, no and that I have always used this card and never had a problem. She rolls her eyes as if I am now inconveniencing her and then asks me what my past pharmacy phone number is which I don't know off the top of my head, so she makes me look it up. She spends ten minutes on the phone with a CVS that I don't pick up from anymore and then tells me that my SIGNA insurance has expired which is a provider i've never used. I asked how much the prescription would be without insurance and she wouldn't say and then started explaining to me what insurance is and what it does. I asked then after being completely fed up if she would transfer my prescription elsewhere for me and she said I can go to the next location and ask them to do it and she wouldn't. I am an extremely anxious person so going into pick up a prescription is already stressful enough. She was so extremely rude from the second she spoke to me. When I asked for her name she proudly stated it was Galina. I was so upset that I let an employee in the front of the store know how her attitude affected my experience (she was very understanding and I also understand it wasn't her problem to fix) but I was in tears by the time I walked away. Confrontation is not ever easy for me nor something I enjoy doing, I'm so disappointed!! Overall the store seems to have a great selection, but wow this pharmacist really has an issue with customer service.

She asked if her aunt would need to pay for that and the employee said "of course you have to pay for that" and he sure did charge the broken candle along with her other items. Having been in retail management for 9 years, I understand that your establishment pays for that item and if it that item goes unaccounted for, it will directly hit your bottom line but you could've let that go. It was a ten year old that made a mistake, not a situation of a mother not having control of their kid and the employee knew that. You could've just let it go and for that reason we won't return. Rite aid is down the street. We will take our business there.
