Wow, just can not capture and describe the experience that I had with Alex, the owner/pharmacist, he is awesome along with the rest of the Parkside Chemists Staff. Alex and his staff will take the time to get to know you, and really makes you feel valued. This pharmacy goes above and beyond what I ever thought a pharmacy could be. The service is incredible - they exceed any expectations of service and help you with your medications, call your doctor, call your insurance, find you a coupon, etc. They have done this for me on several occasions, and it wasn't special treatment for return customers - they were this good from the beginning. And they are genuinely nice people. The prices on the products in the shop are also very reasonable, and they have a great selection, which they manage to fit in a modest but aesthetic and well-designed space. This place is top notch. I usually do not leave reviews, but I registered with Yelp JUST to leave a review for this business. If I could leave 10 stars I would. This pharmacy is as good as it gets! Impeccable customer service and extremely accommodating. Alex was very personable and I literally felt like I knew him for years! He informed me on the medications that may work best for my acne issues as well as possible side effects that may be experienced with some of the medications prescribed. He went above and beyond to get my package delivered...oh yes...I NEVER STEPPED FOOT INTO THE PHARMACY! My medication was delivered to my door and if it had not been for Alex and Parkside Chemists, I would not have been able to afford my medication. I have never experienced the level of respect, genuine concern and customer service as I did with Alex. Plus, he threw in a lip balm which is my biggest addiction! I am always surprised when my experience with getting prescriptions goes smoothly - especially when it comes to dermatology. It's not the fault of the pharmacies, but generally I feel like the pharma industry as a whole is doing its best to rip me off and overcharge for medication. Parkside Chemists does everything that it can to prevent that from happening. They have a huge amount of coupons for derm products stored in their system that can lower costs (so you don't have to have your dermatologist try and hunt down a coupon for you), will assist you in getting pre-authorizations from your doctor, AND they will schedule a time to deliver your prescription right into your hands. Anyone who has ever seen a $350 bill attached to their prescription facewash that probably costs $1 to make will understand my elation. read more

I needed a prescription re-filled for a topical medication whose price inexplicably sky-rocketed in the last several months. After DAYS of frustration with other mail order pharmacies, I was referred to Parkside by an assistant in my dermatologist's office. I dealt with Alex who somehow worked magic and made sure that I was given the fair price I had received in the past. Parkside Chemists is no ordinary pharmacy! I went in desperate need of a prescription for my skin and Alex, the insanely nice owner, was incredibly helpful/professional/knowledgeable about the medications I was about to take. He answered all of my questions and helped me over a major insurance hurdle. Parkside Chemists comes highly recommended. They even do free delivery if you don't want to pick up your prescription at their store! Alex was the only one I met (he gave the rest of his employees off for the holiday!!), but I am sure the rest of his people are as good as he is. This is hands down the BEST pharmacy I have ever had!! They deliver right to your door and will let you even see how close the delivery driver is. The staff is amazing they always make sure you are available and follow up as well. Parkside Chemists is phenomenal! All of my prescriptions are filled accurately and on time. If there are any complications with my medications or my insurance, they make sure to notify me as soon as they find out. No to mention, the house deliveries are very convenient as well for when I can't pick up prescriptions on my busy days. They never contacted me regards status. I had to contact them and find out. My prescriptions were called in 5 days prior to me calling and they said they have to contact the dr office.
