Refills are done incredibly fast--sometimes it feels like within seconds! Any travel supply not a problem! It's always nice to come in, not only to pick up medications, but also to have a friendly conversation and feel cared for. Highly recommend this pharmacy!

The female owner was so arrogant completely disrespectful & disregarded my needs. She was rude, & loud & did not know how to speak to customers. Irregardless of whether I was unprepared or I did not know which state in Mexico, she never gave me a chance to resolve my problem instead she came to me very high & almighty & completely denied me of service. I did not show hostility yet she said I was crazy. I felt really harassed. One thing is to tell ur customers the rules...u can be firm all u want but be polite, respectful & empathetic. U don't talk to customers acting like ur the sheriff & that everyone must fall in line otherwise ur in trouble. She was very intimidating & I tried to let this slide but since I feel that she'd be doing it to others too...so I feel the responsibility to let everyone know so she will know & be more respectful & realized that her business is there because she has to provide services to the consumers & not the other way around. She should learn to care & understand situations. I'm hoping that she will not do these things to others especially to ordinary people. I went to buy some sanitizer and wipes after seeing a FB post stating that they had a new shipment…read morecoming in. They were charging a 300+% brand mark up on generic and ineffective sanitizer. I ended up buying just one because I was asked to do so by a friend. They did not scan in the items I wished to purchase and they did not provide a receipt. When I tried confronting them about the markup, they claimed that it was less than what the supplier charged. They added that no one forced me to buy anything and that this was how supply and demand worked. I had actually frequented this pharmacy a few times since it opened (even though there's a RiteAid half a block away) because I prefer to support local businesses. But from now on, I'm sticking to RiteAid.

Have you ever told your doctor after he handed you multiple prescriptions, "I dont need this stuff" Well thats where Lowens comes in, I have been so pleased with the service and they actually get to know you. I mean yea sometimes you have to wait for the drugs they are not as fast as other drug dealers..(wink) (wink) hahaha but they are very competent in knowing whats in stock and telling you if you need to come back on special orders. So even if you have to wait they have snacks or some lottery to play. There are not many places like this left in Bay Ridge or Sunset Park. But to tell you the truth I dont like really being sick or ill. But when it does occur I can rely on Lowens for top shelf care and service in supplying all needed medications.

Because some of our prescriptions are not always easy to find, both of us would have to pickup at several different places. Now, we just have to walk 2 blocks. The pharmacists are incredibly knowledgeable and thoroughly answer any questions about both prescription and non-prescription medications alike. I had to have a last minute surgery last week and Teba took the stress out of preparation by quickly filling meds and having the things in stock that I needed before and for recovery. I will never use another pharmacy, they are my first stop for everything including OTC, vitamins, etc. Large corporations have made the process so unpleasant but having a friendly, knowledgeable neighborhood pharmacy feels like the way it's supposed to be.
