The Pharmacy workers here at the back are very helpful and they are all Bilingual (English and Chinese) so communication wouldn't be a big problem. I haven't had any problem yet with the digital transfer from my clinic to BBRX Pharmacy. Normally they give small gifts depending on what prescription you are prescribed. Also for each prescription they will give you this prescription receipt sticker ($1 worth) to use in their Pharmacy. They also have an UPS Access Point here which is very convenient for the community! read more

Staff was friendly and helpful, they answered all my inquiries with a smile on their faces and even gave some recommendations. They will call you when your prescriptions are ready. The store is clean and well kept. They accept most major health insurances. They also do notary but only on some days and there is a UPS Acess Point Service which is very convenient for the community. read more

I used to go to the pharmacy on 8th and 61st but all of a sudden the clinics became fancy and started sending prescriptions and whatnot to the pharmacies via the computer! And so my Dr. sent my stuff to BBR and ever since then I've always used this place. I feel bad for the other pharmacy I went to which was on 8 ave and the same street also 'cus they never did anything wrong, even got free newspaper for my parents LOL .. oh well what can I do :(. When it first opened, I think about two years ago, it was only, or mainly, one guy working the place. Always super nice, friendly, smiled and explained the medicine well even though I could read English perfectly fine. About a month ago I had to pay a dollar or two for my meds but I had no cash on me so I told him I'd pick it up next time and he said "that's not a problem" and comped it for me. Thank ya! I recall a time when I was super annoyed because I had a throat infection and just wanted my ibuprofen and be out but he took the time to explain it to me-- it's ok though, it's a super kind gesture. I am happy to say up until this day the pharmacist guy is still nice and so are his new employees. Nowadays we get a free item LOL woot woot. read more

BB-Be more accountable for actions. Scenario: I had a package that was dropped off to them because they are a UPS Access Point. As a pharmacy I do not know how poorly or well they run their business. I can't walk there because I'm on crutches and just had hip surgery. According to UPS tracking: 12/22/2016 1:48 P.M. Delivered to UPS Access Point™ My mom went there at 3:30PM to pick up the package. They told her it wasn't there. My mom called me and told me what happened and I spoke to the representative, she confirmed it wasn't there after I told her the tracking number said its in the pharmacy. I then proceeded to call UPS and they confirmed it was there. I called back AFTER my mom left the pharmacy and the representative says, "I'm sorry, we had a busy day and I didn't get to register your package in our computers which is why we said it wasn't there." Ultimately, I ended up speaking with the manager of the Pharmacy, also asked since my mom was already home and we live 5 blocks away, would it be possible for them to make a quick delivery since it was a fault on their end and he straight up said no. The representative even suggested, "we could leave the package for you next door at the supermarket since we close at 7 in case you want anyone to pick it up later after we close." Who's going to be accountable if my package goes missing? Overall very poor customer service and very irresponsible. read more

Audit this place asap. This pharmacy billed me after I left and knowing the fact that I don't want medication from their place. Lady lied that my insurance doesn't fully cover the med and told me that I need to pay some money out of pocket which they can't specific how much i need to be paying. My insurance cover all generic medications. read more

Friendly, Clean, Professional pharmacy with a wide range of services. 7/8th avenue is flooded with pharmacies with at least one on each block and sometimes even up to 3 pharmacies on the same block. With the abundance of choice, I didn't really care or see a differentiating factor between them and usually just to go the closest one by my house. What drew me into the door of BBRx was their UPS Access Point Service. I was able to drop off my packages there which is super convenient for me as BBRx is one of the few places on all of 8th ave that has the UPS Access Point Service (at least from 55-60th st). Staff were quick and nice about accepting my packages and did not make it seem like it was a burden to them! I've walked past this pharmacy before (to popeyes haha) countless times but never thought or saw the need of entering but thanks to their ups access point service, I've gotten to learn about this gem. I am now a convert and not only use BBRx for their UPS service but also as my pharmacy! Thank you BBRx! read more

i love this pharmacy. it has everything that i need. the shelves are always stocked and service is superb. recently, i picked up my mom's asthma prescription. the young pharmacist identified right away it was her first time being prescribed with an inhaler. he counseled me on how to use the device so i can assist my mom. he also made me aware of the common side effects accompany with the use of this medication. keep up the good job! i'll be coming back. read more
