First tried this during a Thursday Nights on Pierson here in DHS some time back. I liked the customer service, they were patient and funny lol The food I would say reminds me of In-N-Out but better. And better because of the toppings on the fries. And better because the burgers are better. So then I guess not In-N-Out? Either way the price vs quality of food is chefs kiss perfect! I want to start by saying that if possible I would have given this restaurant zero stars. First off, I ordered my food online and put in the comment section that I would like to have my fries well done. What I received was the soggiest, oil laden fries I've ever seen in my life. I'm sure that the oil that the fries were placed in was not up to temperature because they soaked up a lot of grease, they literally weighed twice as much as what they should have. Disgusting does not begin to describe them. I ordered a double cheeseburger with their equivalent of what would be known as animal style toppings at In n Out, I can't recall what they named this. The burger was so soggy(I realize I used the same word to describe the fries, but it is what it is) that I couldn't even cut it with a knife without it falling apart. The meat had very little flavor the pickles tasted like nothing as well as the one jalapeno they added to fulfill the description on the menu, and the bun I had to toss and just eat the meat because it simply disintegrated. Moving on to what they call a storefront. It took me 10 minutes of walking around downtown Indio to finally go into Gabino's Creperie to ask where this restaurant was. I was told I was there even though there's no signage on the front of the building telling you so. Apparently they have a window on the side of the building that has their signage but who's going to look on the side of the building? Also the inside of Gabino's Creperie had a very odd smell ... some kind of mixture of cleaning products and something else I could not even begin to understand. The mixture was quite off putting. Also, when I walked in the place it was a ghost town, no one up front and no customers. Someone came from the back fairly quickly and asked if I was there to pick up food, I told them no that I was looking for the restaurant Papa Headz, they simply said that I had found them! When I mentioned that there is no signage on the outside of the building they looked at me like I didn't try hard enough because if I had simply went around the corner and walked a bit I would have seen on the side of the building(Where nothing should be) a window it that marked Papa Headz. As far as I can tell there's no way to contact them by phone which I attempted to do to find out where they were. I looked on this website and saw no phone number. What kind of establishment doesn't have a way for you to contact them by phone? I've eaten at a lot of burger restaurant establishments, and this one definitely is at the bottom, I will never return. $17 for a burger and fries that I could not even eat. Garbage, I'd rather eat at McDonald's and I haven't been there in 40 years. read more

Great food, burgers were on point and regular fries were great with awesome flavor. The carne asada fries were average and the meat tasted as though it was cooked hours ago. Big fan of this place! I have been following since they started as a delivery service in 2020. The little kiosk they have now in Indio is a cool little spot to grab some food while visiting downtown Indio. The PH burger I feel is a very solid good burger, and the various loaded fries are fun. And now there's a little floor is lava playground next to it, which can be fun for preschoolers. read more

From the order being taken to the meal being delivers to my car , those guys were poetry in motion. Polite, engaging, and happy to be there which is something rarely , if ever experienced when picking up some fast food. Basically for the same price you would pay for a combo meal at any given burger chain, PapaHeadz delivers a fast fresh delicious gourmet burger experience. I have been getting burgers at this place since they opened and have had them many times. The burgers are really great, put together very well, good sauce and toppings. I typically get the double, or if I am really hungry, I'll go for the triple, phixed. When they first opened, they had REALLY GOOD fries, perfectly crispy without saying well done. I loved them so much, just as much as the burger. Good fries are really important to me. But ever since they were at the Coachella Music Festival, the fries started to go downhill. Always soggy. So I started asking for well done/crispy, and they still arrive soggy, as if they don't even do well done like I ask, no difference. The burgers are still good so I have given them a bunch more chances....even after they announced the change of the oil they use for the fries. I don't know what happened, but the fries are still very subpar and I can't really get a burger if the fries aren't good anymore. If you are looking for a great burger, go for it, but for me, the fries need to go back to the early days for me to return. read more

What a poor way to treat your company and employee, the one girl they had letting us know they were no refund literally looked like she wanted to cry and not once did the owner come out to speak to all the customers that had been waiting.
