I was going to pick up a online order; as suggested pick up for online orders are to go in the lobby. However, the dine-in was closed, but yet I seen two customers inside dining and eating their food on the tables and two more ordering. So I decided to call Jack in the box store number and a girl picked up, she told me the lobby was closed and that the people inside were employees, straight up lying. The drive-thru line was long enough, so I had to wait about half an hour to simply pick up an online order that's suppose to be ready for pick up when one arrives. This place should be shut down! 1 1/2 stars is actually a stretch. These people don't give 2 shits about quality or service. My burger @ 11:55 was at least an hour old. Cheese was "shiny" patty was as dry as Indio in August! They also got my wife's simple order of a bacon egg and cheese croissant wrong. Aroubd 1255 on November 24 the drive through teller is by far the rudest person in fast food I have ever dealt with. After ordering our food she told me to pull up. No confirmation of the order verbally or on the screen. We waited over 25 mintues in park. Then when we get to the window she is asked me to confirm my order. Her English is hard to understand but growing up in California you can generally understand most accents. I could hardly hear her or understand her. After I confirmed the order she gave me an amount over 50.00. I was shocked. I asked for a cooy of the order to review before charging my card. She told me no not until after she charged my card. She stood there with her arms crossed and a disgusted look on her face. By this time I have hadn't enough of her attitude and wait we drove off. Now I get working over shift is not the most glamorous/desired shift but there is no reason for us to be treated this way. We are paying customers and did not ask for anything out of the ordinary. This is the worst jack in the box I've ever been. This review is based off of several visits. Food quality is always poor. People taking orders consistently get the order wrong. Understanding English is to blame for some of it. Gave up one time completely and just drove thru the drive through when they couldn't get my order right. Last experience takes the cake, ordered a sausage sandwich and they took the liberty to replace it with a chicken sandwich and charge us for something different. We caught it and called them out and they said they ran out of and gave us the sandwich instead. But charged us. Never did they say sorry and seemed really annoyed that we called. I went in to place 2 large door dash orders. The young lady that assisted me was really pretty amazing. She was polite on point with everything and was multitasking like you have never seen. I would have to assume that it would be crazy if she wasn't there. Even doing many tasks at once she remained calm was polite and never made me be concerned with my order being complete or feel like I was unimportant. Definitely below standard service after hours. I pulled up to the menu and I asked for a moment to decide on my order. I was told to back up to look at the other menu if nobody was behind me. I decided to ignore her since it took me a few seconds to decide on my order. Guess what? Pulled up to the window and the thing I want was unavailable. Yikes. So instead of taking a suggestion I decided to drive back around the Jack in the Box to look at the menu again. Ok I feel I'm the most qualified to write this review. Here's why. When I was in high school I would go to this Jack In the Box at least 3 times a week after school during winter break when football season was over. I know....I was a fatass. I would order a Jumbo Jack w/ cheese, and a Ultamate Cheeseburger. I was was really hungry which was like 90% of the time I would also order a Chicken Sandwich w/ cheese. My mom worked in the neighboring small business offices so it was literally a 1 minute walk. I would go here so much I started to buy Kraft cheese slices so I didn't have to pay for cheese and would put 2 slices each burger. Not on the Ultimate Cheeseburger though. The service here was always nice, except for the out of the blew bad day by one of their employees, but I'm a psych major so I know that this happens every now and then. The burgers were always made exactly the same and I never got a bad burger. Even though I don't eat here any more because I don't support fast food joints anymore because of the current epidemic we're facing as a nation I still give this Jack n' the Box a 5 star. Compared to the local McDonalds that always smelt like dirty ass Mexican feet (I'm Mexican so it's a local joke that everyone would say) this Jack n' the Box put it to shame.
