My fiancé and I first tried this place last year n our trip when we were looking for something good to eat, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The worker was so friendly, welcoming, and the whole experience felt very authentic. I was really hoping we'd be able to find this food truck again this year, and I was so happy to see it was still there. My fiancé ordered the al pastor burrito, and I got two mulitas. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care put into the food. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by. Forget going to a supermarket or even a restaurant for some Mexican food..this is THE SPOT you gotta go to! Came here when it was super hot, and all we wanted was food and chill back in the a/c of my aunt's timeshare. After waiting soooo long at the nearest grocery store for food, I knew this night was going to be bad, especially with the experience at the grocery store. At first, I thought it was a little hole in a wall, but when my maps told me I arrived at my destination, I was a bit confused because it was an abandoned car dealership with a small taco truck right at the corner. What makes this place extraordinary and makes me want to come back whenever I'm in town is the fact that, despite the location, the business is run from a small truck with 6 tables, and the best customer service I've had in a while! The gentlemen in front of the car were greeting customers as if they were in a restaurant, which I've never encountered until today. WOW! I'm from LA and was in town for a few weeks, I was raised in Mexican restaurants (family owned). I tried other highly rated spots in the area and wasn't impressed, but these are easily the BEST tacos and burritos in Indio and perhaps the entire Coachella Valley. Found this spot after leaving the supermarket with a horrible experience, when you first pull up, it does look like any other side of the road taco truck, however the customer service and ambiance from the second u get in line, and the welcoming attitude it was 5/5! Faster than the speed of light, I swear they had a warp drive in the kitchen. And the portions? Titanic. Like, bring-a-backup-stomach big. Well I have to say that the tacos are really really good. They do give you a lot of meat. Been there four times now and haven't had any issues with the food. I'll probably try something different next time I go. The carne asada and Pollo were really good. They are really good in giving you everything that you need from salsa to lemons to all the fixings that go on a taco. The help is really good. They're always asking if you need something. They're very nice and very kind. Oh I did try the watermelon drink they have. That was really good and refreshing. I guess my only issue here was that for the three other times that I've gone I had received different prices. Not by much but it could be annoying and very noticeable if you go there often. I contracted them for a Quinceañera back in October of 2022. They did a wonderful job. All of my guest enjoyed the tacos and the fresh waters. The number one hit was the AlPastor tacos and the horchata with strawberries. Very delicious! And the set up and tear down was superb. If you do decide to get them for a large party do make sure to purchase a few aluminum trays just incase there are left overs. All of the left overs are handed to you in large clear plastic bags. So the aluminum trays just help out in transporting it back home. read more
