My review at this time is just on a pedicure. I may try them for an acrylic fill at some point but I got the impression that they are extremely busy so it would need to be something basic. I really enjoyed this dark space for the pedicure and it was very relaxing. I couldn't figure out the chair on the height for the massage as I'm short and so I gave up. I was looking for a good massage and I was not disappointed. I will say my feet were rough when I got home so don't think she got the bottoms of my feet very smooth. The only annoying thing was when I came in most of my gel had already chipped off but they charged me 5 bucks to remove before even diving into pedicure. I have had hundreds of pedi and never seen that charge. Also she simply just got out the drill and blasted it off in about 1 min. No different than wiping off regular so no wrapping in foil or soaking for 10 min so that was kinda cheap on their part to nickel and dime. Waste of $100 Painful hard foot massage, burning oil and rocks, skipped scrub and hot towel, and wrong color put on nails despite telling them the color was wrong. I had made an appointment ahead of time and was so excited to get my pedicure done. When I went back for my pedicure they said I was just there for a nail polish change. The receptionist had made a mistake and someone else took my appointment. I checked in and had the text reminder as well that showed what I made an appointment. I am guessing that between a pandemic and general demise of courtesy we're headed for catastrophic times. I walked in and asked if they had availability for a gel manicure. Courtney replied "Yes, go sanitize your hands and pick out a color." I was looking at colors for a few minutes when Brenna came over and asked if I wanted gel. I told her yes and then she redirected me to the gel colors ( I was looking at the top of the counter swirly props of non-gel colors). I picked out a color and followed her to her station. I immediately noticed the splash shield covered in tiny dots like someone sneezed all over it. Keep in mind I had to sanitize my hands and they can't wash a shield? The lightbulbs were caked with dust and she had stains on the front of her uniform. I feel like it's pretty dirty and needs some maintenance cleaning. My manicure went fine and they did a nice job. It was $37.00 and I feel ambivalent about returning. The receptionist was rude and lax. The place was unkempt. read more

I went here for the first time in March and while it was pricey the product lasted 5 weeks with only 2 broken nails. However, the second time I went, my hand was cut with the e-file 4 times (bleeding in the 2 pictures shown below) and a nail broke within the next week. The people themselves are nice but I will not be returning to pay such a high price to get this quality of service. read more

Have previously like going to Pewaukee nails for pedicures because it's so calming and relaxing. Took my husband there the other day, and as we were leaving, he was limping. I asked him why and he showed me a huge cut on the side of his foot from the pedicure. Since then we've been Urgent Care twice for an infection. Probably won't be going back there. read more

First time here and I am SUPER impressed! I had a PEDI which was like none I've ever had before! A nice quiet dark room with a waterfall, minimal lights and super comfortable chairs. The actually pedicure itself seems to be very similar across the board- meaning each employee follows the same protocol. Very cool place to get your nails done the front where they do your hands is very pretty with cool exposed wood all over, not your usual nail salon look . The pedicure area is phenomenal it is dark with minimal lights and has a waterfall wall, very relaxing! The techs are friendly and efficient and my nails look great. read more

I have previously had the best experiences at Pewaukee Nails. Today's visit was sub-par for the $87 plus tip spent. Pedicure: foot bowl water was cold; they did add hot water to make it "warm" upon request. Toenail cuticles not even touched, heals barely exfoliated. Foot/leg message was mediocre at best. Disappointed in pedicure overall. Manicure was OK. However, I had to prompt nail tech that he forgot to file one of my thumb nails. The hand message/lotion at end of manicure was a joke. Had a very disappointing experience. Asked for my cuticles to be done and a dip. Cuticles were done while the acetone was still on my fingers from the removal of the dip I had on. The woman filed my nails almond shape after I specifically said, rounded. Half of my nails are rounded and half are almond shaped. After one day, there was no shine, and I went back in there to let them know about my experience. They offered to redo the topcoat, I didn't want to waste my time for it to go away in a day. I went here to try out SNS (dipping) nails for the first time, because many of my friends have been getting them, and they look great. I was beyond disappointed. My cuticles were cut so far back, and it was so painful, that 8 out of my 10 fingers were bleeding when I left. My fingertips were still sore for days afterwards as well. And I DID tell him "you're cutting them too far back and it hurts"...but you would think he would've known from the blood appearing. Not to mention, the gel was applied so incredibly thick, it looked ridiculous. None of my friends had results like this from other places. Used to be a long time customer at Anthony Vince and was desperately in need of somewhere better. Love the job they did with my nails! I've gone to Pewaukee Nails 4 times for their AMAZING pedicures. The gentlemen that do the pedicures are so talented, friendly, and give the best massages. The reason for the 3 stars is the girl that runs the front desk. She frequently isn't wearing a mask, puts it on but below her nose when talking to people, and even removes it when speaking to the other employees. The safety measures seem to be followed by all other employees EXCEPT her. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I really liked this place at first but the last two pedicures my friend and I were laughed at by the staff completing our pedicures. Also the last two times we went she was started right away and was almost finished before they even started on me. When I mentioned this at checkout it was completely dismissed. my girlfriend walked in there today to get her nails done. The person she worked with was Andy. He burned her cuticle and didn't do anything with it and just kept going. No wiping it off with a alcohol wipe or anything. Just told her sorry about tht and kept going. My girlfriend said he rushed the whole manicure. She told me there was no one waiting to be next. The acrylic manicure was so rushed and the polish was bumpy and not smooth. My girlfriend told me the sign for the acrylic one was $40 according to there sign they had up but charged her $50. It was the worse experience for her. Her finger is starting to go red right below it. They are reckless on how fast they would do this. They didn't listen to anything she wanted for this manicure. This took 1 hour and 45 minutes to just shape my nail in a coffin shape, then an extra 30 minutes to paint it. The service was extremely rude and aggressive. I have several cuts to the point where i'm bleeding. My nails turned out some what okay, but was a terrible experience. read more

Nails look okay. I think they should start using cuticle pushers while given manicure services. My nails look great for less than a week or so then look already two weeks grown out before a week passes. They didn't push back my cuticles, dip is covering my cuticles. The tech put a hot towel and oil on before the dip clear coat dried and ruined the coat. He had to go back and fix them but when I got home they looked terrible. Had to put a gel top coat on top till the next time I go somewhere else to get them re done. Prices and atmosphere is better than most nail salons. Also, whenever I called to make an appointment it kept saying user busy. I called for three days in a row to book an appointment and still said the same thing. I'm assuming they are conveniently on the phone at the same time I call or the phone is shut off or dead. I've had no problems calling other people and places, just them. read more
