I was very disappointed...some.of the grooming staff was nice but they missed nails on our pup and one of the women was condescending and while seeing me struggle with my puppy who was in the store for the first time and puked, she handed me towels and cleaner and said she would hold my dog. you get paid to do this, not me. then while I was cleaning up she proceeded to pass judgement and act holier than though when it comes to caring for a dog. We will not return, I'd happily go to Petco or the Lynnwood location instead if this place. read more

I called in because I got the wrong food. When I called to see if they had my correct food I was put on hold 3 times each time some one would pick up the phone as a new call. It's an average PetSmart! I bring my dog here for mediocre baths for $40. Unlike other PetSmarts, this one charges $7 for hypoallergenic shampoo. I've been to a number of PetSmarts all over the country and usually the hypoallergenic shampoo is free. I usually can't find a sales associate to help me find something. When I finally tracked an associate down yesterday, looking for a light to put on my dog's collar...they were out of them...ugh! I also use Banfield and my dog is on one of their wellness plans. I like the one stop shop for all my dog's needs and since my husband and I travel a lot with our dog, there are PetSmarts and Banfields all over the U.S. read more

This place is a joke. I scheduled an appointment online for the time that was a loud and then I get a call the next day asking me to switch it earlier because that time is not a time that they actually except. So I change the time to make it work for them and then the following day is my appointment. I go in with the paperwork for my animal and rush there to make sure I get there on time through traffic and even leave work early. Get there and check him all in get him ready to go. The woman behind the counter then asked me oh we forgot to ask does he have any health concerns? And I say yes my dog does have a heart murmur. She then proceeds to tell me that they cannot groom him at their facility because of this. I ask why there isn't a disclaimer on the website or any information in regards to this and she says that comes down from corporate you would need to call them to put in a complaint. Will never be going to any Petsmart ever again. They have lost my business. read more

Have been taking our dogs there for toenail trims for yrs. Had a medical issue and needed to see a Vet. Dr Wells was very nice, concerned, informative and seemed to care about my wallet. Her course of treatment has made a dramatic improvement overnight. Thanks, our pup is doing much better already. read more

Be WARNED!! I will never go back to PetSmart Everett ever again!! Last 2 experiences: 1) Brought dog in and groomer did a terrible job and said he was "ungroomable." I have taken him to groomers for 8 years now and this is the first complaint I've ever received. Took him to local groomer next day, and they said he was an "angel" and had him looking great again. Had an appointment today 7/19 with Gillian and she refused to take my dog, bc we were literally a couple mins late. She was still grooming her appt from her earlier in the day and didn't even have time to start on my dog yet, but somehow this was unacceptable and unmanageable in her eyes smh. Rudest and most disrespectful groomer I have ever encountered. Good news I guess is, it has only been this PetSmart location and this one only. If I could give zero I would. I was trying to get help with the simplest thing...dog food. I went for help in their vet area they said they couldn't help but wouldn't even get someone to help me. I walked to the front, asked for help they said they would send someone. I waited 5 min if not longer no one showed up. I tried finding help for 10 min before that. I went over to pet co found help right off the bat, and they had what I needed right off the bat. read more

Katie the manager was absolutely horrible, I have never given someone a bad review but I had to with these guys. Came in to exchange something that was suppose to be a simple exchange but no, credit is what I got offered. I took the credit bought the same product I purchase before except this time it wasn't on sale last time it was. Just so they can mark it as full price and re sale it. I will not be coming back and I am canceling my service for my two dogs, I not only spend money here but I also do vet check ups and grooming but nope not anymore, Do yourself a favor and train your employees on excellent customer service. read more

The appt. took longer than 2 hours, but as a dog owner I appreciate that she took her time in getting the job thoroughly done & the way I'd requested. I've been bringing my dog to this location for a 'bath and brush' every month or two for the past year. While some of the staff are better than others (Sally was amazing), this last staff member really frustrated me. I have an Alaskan Malamute (big, lots of hair, double coat). When I dropped him off, I apologized because he was quite stinky. There were two staff members working, Chelsea and another female. They told me that he's likely stinky because (a) his undercoat wasn't fully dried the last time he was washed and/or (b) I wash him too frequently, which dries his skin and increases his odor. They then told me he'd be ready in about three hours, which is consistent with previous visits. However, Chelsea called me an hour and forty minutes later and told me he was all done. I wasn't ready to pick him up and asked my husband to get him. When I finished my work and greeted my dog - I was shocked at how damp he was! His head hadn't been dried at all and his undercoat, particularly around his stomach, was extremely damp. It's now the day after and he's still damp. I'm really disappointed - Chelsea and the other staff member emphasized the importance of drying him fully and he isn't even close to being dry. Further, I paid extra for his nails to be trimmed and they've barely been touched. My dog is 13 years old, hates car rides, isn't a big fan of baths or the blow dryer, and I feel horrible that he had to go through all of that for nothing - he already smells bad and it hasn't even been 24 hours, not to mention a waste of $60. Unless your dog has a short, single coat and you don't mind them walking outside damp and cold when it's 45 degrees outside - DO NOT BOOK CHELSEA!!! UPDATE: I just called and spoke with a store manager, Jeff. I explained to him what I explained above and he was genuinely sorry and completely understanding. He's offered me a full refund and said that he will speak with Chelsea about the situation. I feel better after speaking with him. In case it matters, I did not mention my Yelp review. While I'm frustrated my senior dog had to experience a bath and blow dry for nothing, I'm happy with how Jeff resolved the situation. read more

Multiple employees walk around without asking customers if they need assistance. Won't be coming here anymore. Would give zero stars if possible. read more

Today I was blown away by the customer service I received at this location..I recently had to change to a more expensive cat food brands due to my Maincoon developing a food allergy, after looking online and noticing that the price on petmart.com was about $10 cheaper, the cashier honored the online price in store and let me know if their competitor across the street (Petco) is having a sale on the food I need, they will price match their sale price!! $10 might not be much, but with me buying 2 bags of food month for 3 cats on top of other pet care items I purchase a month, it allows me to give my sweet kitty food he can eat without getting sick..thank you PetSmart Everett!! read more

I love love love love the grooming salon!! my poodles cuts are always on point before I started taking her to petsmart I was having a really hard time at other grooming salons I went through about 6 different places before coming here and I haven't looked back since I've been coming here for about two years now she sees a couple different stylist theres not one in particular that I stick with because they're all GREAT and they're very careful with cutting her nails which I love :D as for the store though I would have to agree with other reviewers about their not so good customer service it always takes me at least five minutes to find someone and when I do they never know where anything is and I always get directed to the wrong section I at least have to walk around the store a few times before finding an item and none of the employees ever ask me if I need help find something ........... read more

We have been bringing our dogs here for years. Recently, most of the groomers seemed to have left. This morning we took our 5month old Husky puppy and another one of our 4yr old dogs in for baths. The groomer dragged the puppy by the neck to the point that he was crying and yelping out in pain. Finally another groomer stepped in and told her to put a harness on him. That set off the older dog, and she was a nervous wreck from hearing the puppys cries. The same groomer then tried to drag, by the neck, our 100pd older dog into the back too! They then told us they would not be grooming either of them today as the dogs were to upset. Well YA!!! you scared the poop out of the puppy for his first trip to a grooming salon, thanx!!! I have seen and heard, in person before, bad customer service here. Never aimed at us, however, until today. I also noted that the same girl was going to do both the dogs - that is not what i booked, they were to be done, at the same time, by 2 groomers. I also had appointments later today for the other 2 dogs, that have been going there for 4 years :( never again!!! i will bathe them in the bathtub before i ever take them to the Tukwila PetSmart again!!! SHAME on that groomer for terrorizing the dogs that way, and then watching and laughing at the window as we left. read more

If you were to see of list of the ten worst grooming salons PetsSmart would be number 2 or 3 on that list. I have tried to bring my dogs in there a minimum of 6 times and they have groomed them no more than 2 or 3 times. The other times they either couldn't find my dogs in the system, which means re entering them will require shot records that they should already have or when I call to make an apt. they neglect to tell me that I need to bring the paperwork to show them the shots are up to date. Now I understand that they need to have records of the dogs shots being up to date but having to bring it in over and over again because they can't find them in the system is soo frustrating!!! This last time I called in advance to make sure I would have everything I needed to actually get them groomed. They couldn't find one of my dogs in their system (so have to bring his shot records) and that I needed to bring proof of shots for my other dog; which I did. When I got there I presented them with the paperwork and AGAIN they wouldn't take one of my dogs because she wasn't within the waiting period for the rabies. OMG tell me there's a waiting period over the phone!!! Nothing but frustration and headaches I got from those guys! Dog owners please save yourself this stress and find another salon. read more

I took my dog to petsmart in everett to be groomed. I got a call about two hours later saying they couldn't finish because my dog that weighs 20 pounds was to excited and they couldn't finish. So what I got when I came back was a hacked up dog and a bulls**t explanation as to why they couldn't finish with a recommendation to take him to a place that would sedate him so he could be groomed. I instead took him to petco across the street the next day and they had no problems what so ever. If you want good customer service and care about your dog then I would go anywhere else but here. The groomer expressed his anal glands without our permission and now he's really sensitive around his tush. Won't be going back again. Depending on what you're looking for, this place is great. For supplies (other than dog, fish, or reptile food) this place is GREAT! If you're looking for a new little friend, they don't have a whole lot of pets, the ones they have always look very healthy though. I can't speak on the fish, I've never bought fish from here because they don't have the tropical selection I usually look for, but everybody else always looks really happy and healthy. LOTS of dog & cat toys, supplements, food dishes, crates, beds, etc. It's a very large and clean store with very friendly staff that are ready & willing to help. So if you're looking for the right things, I'd definitely suggest this place. read more

Prices are good but don't like customer service I receive

I purchased over $100 worth of products for my dogs, including 30+ trays of food that were displayed multiple times throughout the display at a certain price (there is no confusion). When I got home, I received the email receipt showing that they charged me approximately 10% higher price per item. When I contacted PetSmart, they did not make the correction on my credit card, they simply sent me a $5 coupon that required that I first spend another $25 before the coupon took effect. Quite deceptive and not a good practice. Too many places to buy pet food. They lost a previously loyal customer. read more

I've never been too much for caring whether or not I go to Petsmart or Petco, but now I care! Most of the time, when I go into Petco they ignore me, and can't answer my questions. Tonight, I decided to try Petsmart for a quick cricket run. They were out of crickets until tomorrow (oh no!) but I got the meal worms my beardie likes. Then I mentioned to the guy in Aquatics/Small Animals (his name was Eric) that my Beardie seemed to be hibernating but forgetting to sleep (lol), and not eating much at all. He suggested I consider Zilla's Jump-Start Caloric Supplement and Appetite Stimulator, saying that's what they use for sick or anorexic reptiles. He didn't try to push me into the sale, he actually said "It's kind of expensive and you can always come back if he refuses the meal worms", but I'm desperate so I decided to try it, and iut worked right away! I'm so happy! I was really worried about my beardie, and now he's energetic and eating! Will only shop at Petsmart now! read more

This PetSmart is usually clean on the inside and out. And there's always ample parking. I never see any employees working the sales floor though... but the shelves are almost always stocked. And it's nice everything is clearly marked, so I can get right to the cat section without having to roam around. Plus it's fun to see other people bring in their pets. read more

Extremely rude employee helped me or should I say helped me to never come back to this store unless it's to bring my dog in and let him take a shit on the floor and leave it so that the employees can be shit on like the way the shit on their customers! I did not get a chance to get my dog a bath there because the worker from the grooming department was so rude to me on the phone, I just told her to forget it. If they can be rude to me, i hate to think how they will treat my Sammie (Thats my dog). I really hate that she was like that because I transferred here from Atlanta and the Petsmart there was so nice and friendly that you wanted to come back. I took my dog to Petsmart today... There was a LARGE un neutered black lab just inside the entrance... He lunged at my dog growling... The owner practically was pulled to the ground trying to contain him... I told the staff that it was a bad idea to have this dog siting in the entrance of a pet store and what happened... They made excuses for the dog and owner and did NOTHING... I asked where I would find leashes and was only pointed in a general direction and told " you'll see them just keep walking down the aisles"...not finding them I went to leave the store and again the dog tried to attack my dog... I told the owner she should relocate to a neutral area where people didn't have to pass by her dog and she started yelling at me in front of the staff (who again did NOTHING) and with children in the area she blurted out "fuck you"... I will NEVER do business at Petsmart ever again...!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO BRING THEIR PET TO SHOP WITH THEM...! So don't get me wrong, I do like petsmart and I find that this location has some pretty good deal when it comes to dog dogs and treats. But as far as taking my dog here to get her nails done, I won't be back. I live between the Lynnwood and Everett stores, so I decided to try the Everett location since it seems like the Lynnwood one is always so busy. I took my pup in there to get her nails cut and ears cleaned, but as soon as I stepped in the grooming area there was dog hair everywhere! I don't think they had cleaned it for a while, which was gross. When I told the girl what I wanted she tried to add on something else I didn't even know what it was, so I asked and she couldn't actually tell me what it was either. I felt very sorry for my dog when I went to get her once she was all done. The women working back there were very friendly, but didn't seem like they had been trained very well. My dogs had some super short nails and others I don't think they even tried to cut. I still visit this store every now and then to get some new toys and what not, but I stick with the Lynnwood store for getting her nails done. read more

Petsmart is where I buy almost everything we need for our two dogs. Food, dishes, toys, specialty items and all at a good price. We even get our dogs nails trimmed here. While they don't carry tons of the higher end and fancier stuff, this definitley one stop shopping for the basic stuff you would need for any pet. I love that they allow a cat rescue organization in on Saturdays to facilitate adoptions. The return policy is really great too - I accidentally purchased the wrong type of food for my dog, and didn't keep the receipt (thinking I wouldn't need it) but they let me exchange her food for the correct kind with no hassle. They do have a small selection of pets for purchase (just small animals like rodents, fish and reptiles) but I can't say much else about that because I have never purchased those. Signing up for their rewards card is the only way to take advantage of the sale prices, so I suggest doing that. I would definitley recommend this Petsmart over their local comptetitor based on price and selection - the store is huge and they have tons of items so you can pretty much count on finding what you came for. read more

I would just like to say, I've never heard anything positive about how petsmart treats their pets. I saw this first hand on my visit inside. They had 6-7 anoles housed in a small 18x18x24 exoterra, also were housing frogs inside. I find this absolutely atrocious. I'm not blaming the workers, because I know this is corporates fault. I just think petsmart as a company is appalling. I found very sick looking hamsters and a chinchilla. Hamsters that clearly stated they need to be housed alone that had 2 in one home. They stated that bearded dragons were beginner reptiles, however they are actually intermediate. However I will commend them stating that veiled chameleons are advanced. I feel petsmart as a business should be entirely shut down, I've heard nothing but bad reviews on how the training is, how they treat customers, and how they treat their pets. If you don't know how to take care of animals, and how they should be treated, you definitely should not be selling them. read more

I highly recommend NOT taking your dog to the grooming salon. I took my 4 month old puppy there for his first full body groom. He goes in loving people without any problems and he comes out a shivering mess afraid of anyone not in the family. The lady said she would take care of my puppy and go slowly so he wouldn't be scared. Clearly, she did something wrong cause now he's traumatized and he urinates everywhere (which he did not do before). Thanks to Petsmart, I have to redo his socialization. Needless to say, I will not be taking my puppy there again. read more
