The checkout process was efficient, as they opened more registers right before I reached the line. Some PetSmart groomers in Everett, are so insensitive and unkind I have a dog that has a collapsed trachea but not really bad we just wanted him to be groomed, he has been groomed by them many times and he's a patient at Bainfield too, this groomer had said right away at front that no, we can't take him he's wheezing, told her our dog is just like that and he will be okay will eventually calm down, he's just anxious and nervous at the moment. She didn't even tried to be more compassionate with our dog. I think they are being cruel to my dog by being emotionally abusive by rejecting him right away and not giving him a chance to warm up to them our dog is the most sweetest dog in the planet. I am so heartbroken to what they did to my dog. Fortunately, we ended up finding a groomer close by and willing to take our dog . She is more kind and compassionate. God bless her! read more

DO NOT ADOPT KITTENS FROM HERE!!!! I adopted my kitten about two weeks ago she was okay the first day than she started experiencing severe diarrhea and vomiting. So I took her to the vet and $400.00 later as she's only 8 weeks old, I find out she wasn't dewormed properly and she's got TWO parasites. I went on for some food the other day and the cashier lady said "where you the one who reached out" and said no she said another person was experiencing the same thing with there new kitten. If you've adopted this last batch of kittens and have other cats in the home it could spread. Just wanted to give a forewarning about my experience with this. read more

It's sad that this place has gone down hill so bad. I've been coming here for years. This last year, every time I call my stylist is no longer there. High turnover. I had an appointment this week with Stephanie. I arrived on time. Was checked in and greeted. Then some women walked up to the computer, wouldn't make eye contact. Just asked " do you have his vaccine records?" I said " no, he goes to Banfield right next-door" She did not respond, just walked passed me and out the door. I stood there for a min a little confused. I then asked the person working there if that was the women doing my dogs hair? She says yes. She apparently went to Banfield to get my dogs records. She never once introduced herself to me, she never asked anything about my dog, she never said hello. At this point, I went to the vet to see what was going on and apparently there was a mixup with his vaccine records, which has nothing to do with the groomer. The minute I walked out to the vet. She turned around and walked away ,again not saying a word to me. I went back into the groomers, and I asked her if she was the one doing my dogs hair. She said yes and I asked her why she hasn't introduced yourself to me, or even checked me in. She proceeded to roll her eyes, and the managers stepped in apologizing . I own a business, and I hate sounding like a Karen. But it was super unprofessional and I will never be taking my dog back there. The vet share that they've been having nothing but issues with them. I was really pleased to see a great improvement in their small animal care. The hamsters no longer have wire wheels and they were being given fresh food to supplement their pellets. I spoke to the young woman at the cash register and she said they had a small animal care expert come to the store and teach them how to best care for the animals. She was so excited and proud. I love the stores selection overall but I always have my chewy app open to price match because the in store prices are higher than online. read more

I went for a nail grinding, which they do on a walk-in basis.t was 4pm and there were no dogs being worked on in the grooming area, and there were two employees. I was told it was too close to closing, they were short staffed, and whatever else. I definitely got the impression that they were just tired at the end of the day, more than it was because of company policy to quit a half hour before quitting time. I understand being tired and wanting to go home, but they need to inform people so they don't make a wasted trip. Cassie was wonderful. So helpful, it was very clear that she cares about the animals that are there and is knowledgeable about what they need. I was getting a hamster, she made comments about their individual personalities, how long they had been in the store. Because of people like her, I can place my trust in PetSmart. I'm a frequent shopper at the store, I have never actually met this sweet girl before but I hope to see her again. I'm sure I'll be getting more hamster supplies in the future, as well as many other things. Alongside the amazing customer service, there's endless things to look at. Grooming Department Is Unprofessional! We have had two appointments and issues at both. I have a six month old Shih Tzu puppy. We we schedule his appointment in person we verified and they confirmed he would be getting a full grooming, hair cut low with face framed, nail trim, bath, etc. When his first appointment came once I picked him up he was only bathed. They said they never trim puppies on their first appointment and they didn't do a nail trim because he was uncomfortable. The nail trim is understandable but why confirm a service and then switch up after I pay. I payed for a full service only to get a bathing. Fine, his first appointment is out of the way So, scheduled another grooming right there, confirmed the appt. Asked for the name of the employee and triple confirmed the services. Less than 24 hours before his service we get a call that the groomer will be in Lynwood instead of Everett and the only way to get him seen for his appointment is to go to Lynwood. Make it make sense because the math ain't mathing. I appreciate groomers in general because they help our dogs but the ones I have encountered at Everett PetSmart are extremely unprofessional and all had an ugly attitude. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE groomers. I have one older dog and one Goldendoodle and they both have shaky balance but the groomers are so rude to them. They told me they are going to charge us more because our dogs can't stand good. Why not cut their nails while they sit? There are multiple ways to cut and trim nails, they just overcharge. Why work there if you don't love dogs and just want to over charge people. That is so wrong! Like take your time on the older, more fragile dogs. They are just lazy teens who don't care. Find a better groomer! They need to shut down for sure. read more

This is my local Petsmart and I typically go there for grooming for my Springer Spaniel who has considerations that need to be taken into account when trimming his coat. I always have Amanda in the grooming salon take care of milo as she is always pleasant and milo really does well with her. I have been going to her for about two years or so now and have no complaints. Recently milo was part of a grooming lesson for groomers to learn about cutting Springers. I have to say he was overjoyed at being the center of attention. This location is clean, the customer service is good, and there is always sales going on. I would give a negitive star if I could. I wouldn't recommend their pet grooming service as they cancelled three of our appointments with short notice. Then when we do come, they cancelled us again because we didn't have a shot they didn't tell us about, even though they called to change our time and confirm our appointment. Later when I called to ask a simple question about a product, the employee, Mike, answered my call and told me to come into the store and check for myself. We have an adorable spoiled little shih-tzu and we've been taking her here for grooming for over two years. We take her in every four or five weeks for the full grooming package. Our first consultant was amazing, but after a year, she left and called me to let me know she was leaving Petsmart and would miss our dog (nice personal touch!). We switched consultants and now have been seeing Kacie at Petsmart for a year or so. Our dog is very well mannered, but has a ton of hair so I can't say it's easy to groom her. Kacie does a fantastic job. Since our dog is apprehensive of other dogs, she is always nervous when going to Petsmart, but then so excited once she sees Kacie. Every time I pick her up, she's super clean, trimmed, nails ground down, clean ears and I love to see that happy tail wag! We've tried three other groomers in the past, but our dog is most comfortable here and Kacie does a flawless job! read more

Apparently anyone who has given the groomers a positive rating has not met Angie the salon manager. Last week I called a make an appointment for my 4.5 month old shih tzu to get groomed. When I called Angie was in the background telling the associate that I was speaking to that if I wanted to get a full hair cut for my dog it would be 50.00 or if i wanted puppy trim it would be 15.00. I explained that i wanted a full hair cut as his hair is so long he cant see. So when I entered this morning to drop my dog off I was expecting a easy process as I thought I had everything in order. The girl I spoke to last week, I guess forgot to schedule my appointment. That's one thing but when when the salon manager walked out and was annoyed with the to dogs crying in the back. she informed that they won't be cutting his hair because they don't do hair cuts on puppies. My dogs been groomed here 5 times now. The first two times he came back with cuts on his legs nothing major the other time it was perfect and this time he came back with a patch missing. He was groomed last on may 5th at 12:30 by Chelsea who normally does a great job with him but not this time. I called the manager and the regular manager Stephanie understood my concerns and passed on my message to the grooming manager. The groomed manager tia(not sure if that's her name) offered me a discount on my next visit. I don't want a discount and nor will there be another visit. Make sure to take your dogs harness off and check the work done before you leave. My dog had his harness on and I didn't notice until later. Time to find a new groomer . I honestly wouldn't have had an issue if they were upfront and told me they accidentally gave him a bald patch. We're all human and mistakes happen but trying to hide it by putting his harness on and not mentioning it to me is not okay. My dog can't tell me what happened and I will never leave him alone to get groomed again. I walk in, and EVERY single employee greets my puppy and I. Walking around, almost everyone offered assistance finding a product. The cleanliness of the store is wonderful, but lacks some products that other petsmarts have. My 5 month old puppy got groomed here by Tyler, and he was very gentle and caring to my puppy. I recently adopted a little white Poodle from a high kill shelter that rescued animals that survived the Hurricane in Puerto Rico last year. It took quite a bit of maneuvering (and funds) to get her to Washington state and by the time she got here she looked a mess and was a nervous wreck. She was a bit matted, she wouldn't look you in the eyes and she trembled a lot. I named her 'Diamond' and brought her home me and my cat Coal gave her unconditional love and helped her to calm down for a month. When I'd saved a few dollars I took Diamond to PetSmart and introduced her to your groomers and told them a bit of her story and explained that I wanted to give her a "Pretty Woman" day at the doggy spa. But I only had enough for a bath, so please make it a nice, long special bath. They asked if I wanted a haircut or at least a poodle facial cut (I had no idea what that was) but I explained that money was tight. They said they'd call when she was ready and that it should take about 90 minutes. 2 hours later I still hadn't gotten a call. When it was going on 3 hours I went back to the store a little concerned. They were very busy and as I waited for someone to come to the counter, I was looking at all the doggies being 'finished up' and noticed a beautiful fancy, upscale, fritzy little white poodle standing proud and holding her little head high and thought to myself "one day, that's how I want little Diamond to look and feel. Proud and strong." The lady gave me the paperwork and told me to go pay up front and by the time I got back she'd be ready. Well, imagine my surprise when I was given a $10 'first visit' discount (woo hoo!) which made the visit easily fall within my price range. When I back to the grooming area, the ladies handed me my lease and pink collar attached to the glamorous Poodle I'd been eyeing earlier. It was Diamond! I hadn't even recognized her! These wonderful woman had taken it upon themselves to give this puppy a full "Pretty Woman" doggy day. They tried to whisper all this to me around the other customers, but by that time I was crying, one of the groomer ladies was kinda crying, some were grinning and looking silly and a few of the other customers were looking misty. The dog was absolutely beautiful and happy and dancing. As was I. And can't say 'Thank You' enough to the groomers at PetSmart in Everett, Washington. You made my day.
