I've been taking my dog to be groomed here for a few months now and I've been very happy with the level of detail in Rachel's work. During this time I've been growing out my Yorkie's hair and trying different blends of styles to find what works best for us and she's always been accommodating even when some of my requests aren't typical. The results have always been adorable though! I was very happy to see that they checked our vaccination records on our first visit so I can feel confident he'll be healthy and safe there. More importantly I feel like he does well there. I worked a lot on training him for being groomed when he was a puppy, but this is the first away from home grooming experiences he's had. When I go in to pick him up he's prancing and happy and not at all stressed out or shut down. The prices are very reasonable considering their scissoring and nail trims look really nice. The charge for dremmel nail trims is absolutely worth the smooth rounded nails and less scratches on me too. read more

The staff at Bows and Biscuits were apologetic (referencing my last review) the last time I brought my fur-kids in for grooming. They tried to do the best they could to give my Shih Tzus a similar cut to the one I liked. They got close so I was happy with that. I'm having a really hard time writing this review, because I absolutely hate being negative or leaving negative reviews, especially for small business. This is the third time taking my dog to this groomer, and the second time I felt shamed as a pet owner for not properly brushing my dog. I have a doodle, yes I brush him, bath him, have every brush you can think of for him, but he still gets mats here and there. If you're a doodle owner you know the feeling! I asked them to keep him fluffy, and if he had little mats to just cut them off (his long hair would have covered those spots anyway) I just picked him up, and they shaved him. I wanted to cry (super dramatic I know). It takes him a while to grow out his hair, and burr, it's winter! If you want to be listened to, and have your dog groomed the way YOU want, I'm sorry but I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

I've been bringing my cocker spaniel here for about 5 years now and she's always been very happy and at ease when I've come to pick her up. She's also seen a few different groomers due to my fluctuating schedule but no matter what, she always looks good. The salon takes good notes and is quick to adapt if I ask for a shorter length due to summer temperatures, etc. I especially appreciate the extra efforts they have gone through to reopen after a temporary COVID-19 closure and our social distancing experience was seamless last week. read more

One star consumer service unfortunately. First I would like to say our groomer Ashia is sooooo freaking awesome and is NO reflection on her at ALL! We now live in Arlington and pass numerous pet groomers along the way, but I chose your company due to Ashia's reputation and skills. She is patient, understanding, and communicates well with what we would like done for our dogs. However, I don't appreciate the annoying looks and eye rolling from the girl sitting down grooming a small dog. Along with the other lady working there who continued to use her most disgusting tone in your voice telling my dogs "off" because they are sniffing around or jump up on counter. My dogs are 1 and 2 years old they are still puppy hyper. If you don't want large dogs please advertise as such. If I'm dropping $120 dollars to get them groomed I certainly expect good customer service. I will be going else where in the future ...If I could only take Ashia with me. read more

Had to stop coming here because my dog is hyperactive and they know that. The last time I went to pick up my dog, the owner said that she wouldn't do my dog anymore unless I came in more often. The problem I have with that statement is, she did it in front of other people which was embarrassing plus... who has the money to bring their dog in every week? I felt chastised and embarrassed and never went back. Here's some free advice, when talking to customers about a problem you are having with their pet, how about you pull them aside to talk instead of blasting their business all over the shop( I like my privacy). Also, don't demand that they bring in their pet more often or else they are banned from your shop. That just makes me not want my pet anywhere near your shop. Sucks because I really like Asia as a groomer!! I'll give Asia a 5 star but the facility and management a 1 star. Made an appt for my dogs but they both came up with a bug and had diarrhea. I'm sure they didn't want to deal with dogs that had diarrhea so I cancelled their appt. Made another one today and they (Ally) told my husband that we were in bad standing with them. Told him that we cancelled our appt and that their groomers are paid on commission and not hourly. I'm sorry but if you're going to treat your consumers like this, after ONE cancelation...that's not cool, even after all the referrals I sent you all. Going back to our spa in mukilteo. I've had really good luck with these people. It cost me $45 to get my dog groomed there and am always happy. Toto is about 10# and is a poodle mix of God knows what. A rescue dog. What ever you want done they'll do. So happy m happy with the place. read more

This review is one star because of the employee I dealt with, not the establishment. I've gone here before to have my pup's nails trimmed for free, no problem. She tends to be a little whiney, but nothing too bad at all. She's very timid, sometimes she pees while getting her nails done. However, today, she got her nails done, without peeing! She was a little shakey and whiney though, but nothing bad at all. Didn't try to bite, scratch, jump off the table etc. My issues is with the girl who did her nails. I didn't catch her name, but she is a small girl. Seemed nice at first. But when she was done with my dog's nails, she charged me. I've never been charged here, and this caught me very much off guard. I said, "I thought it was free?" She replied, "it's free for WELL behaved dogs. She was a little whiney." !?!? And then she went on to tell me in a very rude manner that I need to take my dog in more often and take better care of her. I never write reviews, especially bad ones, but this girl really pissed me off. Especially because my pup is very wel behaved, albeit a bit timid and "whiny" while getting her nails done. Had my American Bulldog's nails trimmed about a week ago the girl that helped me was very professional, and helpful..there was no charge which was great but the least people can do is tip! Not for rough collies, Australian shepherds , samoyeds, chows or any long haired double coated dog. Other than that you'll probably be good bringing your dog here. The people and facility seemed nice enough. However even without me questioning her one of the first things they said to me was that they managed to not shave his rear. When very clearly just looking at him you can see they clippered everything but his head and back which is not what we had discussed nor what she claimed had been done upon picking him up. I thought it seemed like they had gotten him done in a short amount of time to what I had been expecting now I know why because they didn't bother brushing him out as discussed and instead just shaved off all the areas of his hair that had small tangles here and there. I'll admit his butt was pretty badly matted but not to the point it couldn't be brushed out with a dematter or at least didn't need to clip all of it off. Well we simply won't be coming back for $125 I'll either buy my own equipment or find someone who knows how to do long haired double coated dogs. I've worked with a lot of professional groomers and people in the dog industry before and I know the difference between a scissor trim and clippers that's the part that bothered me the most, trying to pass it off like they didn't use clippers when they clearly did... read more

This was my first time bringing my dog here. They were very friendly. My dog had a ton of quarantine hair. I paid for deshed however he is still shedding a ton. I'm going to write it off to him just having too much hair for one visit. My comparison is with a commercial dog groomer. Deshed there means my dog won't be shedding all over my house for at least a month or so. I'm not sure what the difference was between the 2 other than too much quarantine hair. read more

I feel obligated to write a review even though I am so afraid they will get too busy for us. They are awesome! I am probably one of the most picky pet owners, I even write out a list of to do and don'ts, I go first to check out a place before I put my pet there. They always are so careful with my dog. Its open so you always see all the dogs, and they are never left alone. I feel comfortable having her there. I even drop in, just like you should for children being cared for by someone else and have always been happy with what I found. Reasonable prices, awesome, custom harness and leash, (I bought 2). I wish she was not so picky on what she eats and so far only will eat the big plain bisquits, but they all look so good, I want to eat them lol. I have nothing but good things to say about Bows and Biscuits. When I left Duffy my Westie for his very first grooming at 4 months old, I could not have asked for a better grooming experience. The staff so are knowledgeable and kind...and they are very good at what they do. They also very good at calming puppies during their first grooming experience. When I picked up my little guy, I almost did not recognize him! His grooming was excellent. He was transformed into a brilliant white with an excellent first Westie hair stripping. Even Duffy was pleased...he was so much more comfortable in the hot weather and I think he even knew he looked good! And even better than that...he was not kenneled. Took my Australian Shephard in for a bath, hair trim and nails and they did such a good job in such a timely manner 1.5 hours which normally can take 3+ hours somewhere else. Crystal has been my groomer since I moved to Marysville. I have tried other places when Crystal was out of town and won't be doing that again. Now if she moves away, I suppose I'll have to follow her. She does a great job with my dogs and my people. Very fair and competitive prices too. Even does free nail clips anytime. And the dogs aren't locked in little kennels all day waiting for their turn. She generally gets them in and out within about an hour. read more

Today was my first time here and it won't be my last! The staff is very nice and welcoming, my dog was well taken care of, smells great, and out in about 40 minutes. They don't accept credit/debit cards, but there is a cash machine in the store next door. The price was comparable to the pet stores. They also have an in store bakery with treats! read more

It was our first time going to Bows and Biscuits. Our dog is a border collie mix with a lot of hair. Typically, she's at at a groomer's all day long but Bows and Biscuits told me she'd only take a couple hours because they do one on one grooming. Me and my husband thought that was funny and no way was it only going to take a couple hours. Ok to our surprise, they called at almost 2 hours on the dot (unheard of for our puppy) but also, and most importantly...she was the very best she's ever been when I've showed up to pick her up from a groomer. Usually, she's crying, jumping, wetting, whining and I feel awful for not being able to do it myself but this time was more like I'd just got home from work. So obviously she was treated like she was their own personal dog but also, she hadn't been overwhelmed or stressed out and that means a lot to us. She looks great, smells wonderful and she's happy. We highly highly recommend Bows and Biscuits to everyone! Robin was the girl who groomed our dog but even when we walked in there, everyone was friendly and talking to her.
