The pinch collar is only used when entering the store because she is a strong, easily distracted one‑year‑old, and the shop is located off Highway 99. I would never jerk her collar or harm her -- that makes no sense, and anyone who knows me or my dog can confirm that. She is a gentle, well‑loved 58‑pound dog, and at least 50 people in my community can vouch for how well she is treated. The owner told me not to come back because she felt I was "disrespectful" to her husband. In reality, we were simply discussing the pros and cons of a pinch collar. No voices were raised until the owner raised hers. It appears she did not like what I was saying and reacted by asking me to leave. Her later claim that I was abusive to my dog is completely untrue and seems to have been made to justify her actions. I did not have a pleasant experience there, and I don't need to return. PetSmart continues to groom my dog, and her nail trim and file cost $20.

One of our dogs is very high anxiety when it comes to groomers and they've had no issues with him here, which is amazing. What I loved about Suds is that there's no crate time. They start working on your dog as soon as you drop them off, and you can pick them up about two hours later when they're finished. Our experience was wonderful. Honestly, I was much more nervous than my dog was! The staff were very accommodating and reassured me that they would take things slowly with him. He was quite nervous during the grooming, but they were so patient and caring, and they did an excellent job. I had noticed some older reviews from about two years ago mentioning nips and cuts, which made me a little hesitant. However, our experience was completely different, and I'm so glad we gave them a try. The pricing is a little on the higher side, but I do think you're paying for a more premium, personalized experience. For us, it's absolutely worth it. The cost for the service is very reasonable when compared to others. The self wash offers the best self wash experience I've had by a mile. It's not always a perfect experience. I also have found that groomers come and go a lot but that's true at many places. I wish they were closer but that's my biggest complaint.

She was compassionate and gentle with our elderly schnauzers even when one of them couldn't stand anymore. We were sad that she decided to move to Ellensburg from Bothell a couple of years ago but we decided that she was worth the hour and a half drive to see her. We started using Dee 5 years ago for our old Shepard/beagle rescue dog, Suzie. Suzie had arthritis so bad and we especially liked that Dee pulls her truck up and the dogs get cared for immediately without a long wait in a crate. Suzie had so much fur and shed like crazy. Dee was able to get her coat shiny and she hardly shed any more! Suzie also loved Dee.
