Their crime is not liking the process, and then whining and being stressed out. Never mind they come home happy and prance about. Well, dogs need grooming, even if they don't like it. What are we supposed to do, not groom them? Shame because we always felt they did a good job. The groomers remembered the dogs, knew how to work with them, handled seasonal cuts, were friendly, and had reasonable prices. But if they won't help our dogs anymore, none of that matters.

She didn't wag her tail, didn't come to me like she usually does, and was unusually quiet. Something felt off. That night she stayed calm at home, but the next morning, after just five minutes outside, she refused to walk. I noticed her paw was swollen and inflamed. The vet said it looked like trauma or possibly a burn around the nail bed, consistent with grooming-related injury. The salon later sent a photo of Daisy after the grooming, but it doesn't show her paws at all. That felt strange. When I called to share what happened and ask for accountability, the owner was cold, dismissive, and refused to take any responsibility or even acknowledge the concern. I'm not here to point fingers, but I do want to share my experience. Daisy is healing now, but this was and still is a painful and stressful experience for both of us. We have a new appointment at the vet.

You saying that because you don't want to do the service because that's not easy money. I heard from others about you recommended'cutting hair' 'shaving' for more money for many excuses. Poor dogs! Previous comments: Very unprofessional. When we arrived at our appointment, staff complained about my Samoyed's winter coat too thick and said they couldn't wash her, dry her and brush her, unless they shaved her. Samoyeds are supposed to have thick fur in winter time. If you can't handle large double-coat breeds, just say so when we book the appointment -- don't shame the customer, waste our time. It felt like they only want "easy money" from small dogs now and no longer care about proper service. Won't be back.

For certain days of the week, they have different themes, like movie Mondays where the dogs watch a Disney move during daycare or frozen yogurt Thursdays where you can purchase a frozen yogurt sundae for your fur baby to enjoy during daycare and they will send you a picture of your dog enjoying their sundae. Love these bonuses here at Pickles! As my friend said, Pickles is the Nordstrom's of doggy daycare! In addition to daycare, I've participated in events hosted here, like dog yoga, which is tons of fun! You can practice yoga with your dog and it's always a fun time. She was very polite and honest with what could be done and not. I had trimmed her face earlier and boss lady wasn't any about telling me that I messed up lol. ("Why did you trim her body if you knew she was coming here!") I personally appreciate her forwardness, feels like home I hadn't had good luck with other groomers in the past. Yorkies can be hard to trim and shape due to their silky hair so I was very skeptical. I kept telling boss lady that I want her to look very cute. When I got her.... VERY cute.
