We do private training here with Linda and she's such a great teacher! Archie loves her and listens to her so much! I also like buying his toys here bec they have a great return policy too! I've bought his leashes here, some toys and meal toppers too, I tried to buy his food here but he's just not into anything I pick, good thing they have a great return policy too! I would recommend this place to a friend, they also have a doggie hotel and a hospital, I haven't tried the hotel yet but the dogs look so relaxed and happy! The trainers are all so good here! Linda is such a charm ri work with too, Archie does private lessons with her and he's learned so much in 45 minutes!

I've visited the grooming salon twice - both times my Pomeranian left the salon happy! During our first visit, Sumi helped get rid of a mat behind our pom's ear. Sumi handled my puppy well, my pup looked calm as she was being brushed. Sumi even gave us a few tips on daily brushing and maintenance at home. On our second visit, our pom got her butt hairs trimmed. This was categorized as the "Sanitary trim". Nicole did a fantastic job on both practical and aesthetic aspects. Because our pom had another mat behind her ear, Nicole suggested the Touch-up package. This included a thorough brush, nail trim, and mat removal. Our pom came out looking fluffy, well-groomed and happy...and with a complimentary bow on her head that has charmed everyone! We will be returning every few weeks for her grooming needs.

Store is friendly, clean and well-stocked but this review is specifically about the Puppy Training class my 7 month old pug just completed. We took the 6 week course with Jaylene and my girl loved it, the highlight of her week! Jaylene is wonderful with the pups and their people. She spent tons of time really teaching each of us how to train our dogs, and if you put in the time to work with your dog for 20 mins or so each day, by the end of the course you'll have a better behaved pup! It was also great that when we needed to miss a class, it was really easy to arrange a makeup session. Jaylene is available for help both inside and outside of the classroom (though we never needed to reach her outside) By the end of the course, my pup could sit, stay, come, wait, circle, lay down, get up, look at me, stop, drop it, leave it, touch, and walk on a leash. I was pretty impressed at the learning over such a short time. Course concluded with a cute graduation ceremony at the end, complete with grad cap! My pup just couldn't wait for each class. We will be signing up for the intermediate class next. In hindsight, there was a discount ($30-40) if you signed up for beginner and intermediate classes at the beginning and I wish I had done that. Bottom line...great instructor, great value, conveniently located!

I love Ruth's grooming work. I used to had bad experience with petsmart grooming salon. So I started taking my pup to local grooming salon, but my friends who has Pomeranian recommended Ruth at Petsmart. She does great job and Joey loves her!

No one told me about what was happening to my dog. Look at her nose. :(

This is a long overdue post. I boarded my dog here in 2016 (the weekend of July 29, 2016-July 31, 2016) and I will 100% NEVER come back. Petsmart is very inexpensive when it comes to doggy day care but you get what you pay for. My dog came home with severe kennel cough. I have pictures to show you what my dog looked like when I picked her up on that Sunday. At first, I thought she got some food or saliva on her nose but later realized it was green mucus from a very severe infection of kennel cough; it took her two to three weeks to recover. The response from the employees was that "it's fairly common in the summer". I'm so glad I had pet insurance to cover her medical expenses and get her antibiotics. I wanted all pet owners to be aware their facilities are dirty and uncared for. Please feel free and reach out to me if you have questions.

I will wait until I am fed up with the trail of dog hair on the hardwoods (tip: short hair dogs shed just as much if not more than long hair dogs!) before calling around in search of same day grooming. Upon my search, I came across Tesslan dog spa. I gave Tess a call, and asked for a Hail Mary. She was patient, and inquisitive to learn about my dog Luna. After chatting a bit, she let me know that she is not able to take larger dogs anymore because it's just her and her assistant and she is getting a bit older and not able to hold them as easily, but that she would be happy to have me come in, and help guide me, using her products and bathing equipment, and then her and her assistant could trim her nails while I am present to help comfort and ease my dogs worries. I agreed and came in to take her up in her offer. When I came in the first thing I noticed was how great it smelled and how clean it was (not very common on a grooming place!) Then I noticed there were no crates! Only a few boxed baby gates throughout the facility. I was welcomed in, and then Tess took me to her Dog wash basin, and brought me all that I needed, and proceeded to walk me through how best to wash her using the products she had ready for me. She even brought over ear cleaning and special face wash so as not to get any soap in her eyes. While I was washing Luna, I could hear Tess and her assistant (Jessica ?) talking sweetly to the dogs that they were grooming in the other room. Another little lovable dog hung out happily in one of the baby gates while she waited for her turn. When I was done they brought me and Luna over to the next room to get her nails trimmed. They had me stay by Luna's face and put oils on my hand to massage into her head to calm her while they went to work trimming her nails. They also put some calming salve in her ears to also help relax her while her nails got trimmed. Afterwards they gave her some actually good quality treats (meat, not biscuits) as a reward and to help build trust with her. Price was not bad at all. $25 for the self service bath and $25 for the nails. My pup is now happily lying next to me with a clean (shed free) coat, ears and paws and smelling great! Thanks so much for the amazing service Tess! We will definitely be back!!
