We are bummed to have to write this review because we've been to this location several times with our dog and loved it. But after monitoring hours on Google/yelp and looking to bring our dog for a bath, we have once again arrived at the location when hours have indicated they were open (this Wednesday) at 10 AM and they were closed. We waited until 10:30 in the event someone was delayed to arrive. There was no sign on the door. There was no education as to why this was happening and we were beyond frustrated. This has happened multiple times. We are traveling from Snohomish to drive to Redmond to get our dog washed at this location regretfully we have to now look for other spots. :( read more

Other than the fact that the place is located next to an off leash dog park, this place makes both dog and drivers life much better. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The waiting line can be long at times but there is a little space under the eaves when its raining. They have multiple bays and can wash many dogs quite quickly. There are two prices, one for 8 minutes and one for 12 minutes. I usually get one our dogs washed and dried under 8 minutes. All soap and rinse is from the same hose with no need to stop. The bonus is they have an herbal soap that keeps the dogs smelling great for days. read more

Perfect place to wash your doggo after a long day of playing at Marymoor. So convenient and the set up of the water/soap/drying is perfect to get your pup nice and clean. I will say, sometimes the wait for the wash spot is long if it's a nice and sunny day, so be prepared to wait. You can always get a treat for your pup at the Seattle Barkery as you wait in line. Went here today for the first time. Loved it. But first let me tell you about them saving a dog... ran into a lady in the off-leash area who couldn't find her dog. We looked for a bit, then I headed to my car to drive & look. Looked & looked & drove around to the other parking lot near the Wash Spot. Saw the lady AND her dog at the Wash Spot. Her dog had just headed back to their car!! Benny (the dog) sat there, next to his car, alone, in the too hot of sun ~ but was quickly noticed by Levi working at the Wash Spot. Levi grabbed Benny, safely tied him up & gave him water to wait in the shade of the Wash Spot until his owner showed up. It was just so kind & made it very apparent he was a dog lover & a stellar employee!! And the dog washing part of the place ~ awesome. So easy to use, extremely clean. Very friendly staff, including Levi the dog saver. 2 kinds of soap, nozzles were so easy to use, towels, aprons. No brushes, bring your own (makes sense, I imagine they walk off too easily). It was $11 for a short wash, 8 minutes (I think). I don't know if this is spendy or cheap, my first self dog wash. If you've been thinking about trying it here ~ do it!! read more

This is really overpriced for a self wash but definitely a savings if you've been taking your dog in to get professionally groomed. Everything is timed so it's very challenging to wash a large, fluffy dog like mine (a chow chow) in such a short time frame. I usually go to another self dog wash that is unlimited timing, unlimited towels and unlimited soap which is really nice because I can give him a really thorough scrub. I just came here this time because I was in the area. Between scrubbing, rinsing, blow drying and combing, I would spend ~45 mins on my dog..I don't see how doing all of this is possible in just 14 minutes. I went in thinking that I could get it done in 14 minutes but just kept adding more and more time, so I eventually paid about $50 to speed wash :/ read more

5 stars all around. I visit Marymoor Park weekly, and I typically try to avoid taking my pup near the water as that would involve sending her to the groomers or doing the dreaded wash myself. In the likelihood Ryder does find her way to jump in after a tennis ball, I always call up a groomer but they never have availability the day of. I've always walked by this dog washing station but never made my way around to it. After taking Ryder on a long hike, I needed a groomer immediately but no one was open. Yelp said it was open for self-washing which again did not seem appealing. However when I got there, it was such an awesome experience. You chose between $11-$15 depending on how much time you needed. You hand them a receipt and they get you set up at a station. First time, they give you extra time. They provide an apron, a mini ladder for the pups to get up to a height to wash, and between the hose and the dryer it's just the easiest, quickest, and convenient place ever. Genius idea to post up at a dog park, and you guys are pretty friendly. Highly recommend! read more

Sometimes I drive to Marymoor just to wash my pup here. He doesn't like it, obviously, because he thinks we're going to play in the dog park and instead I give him a bath! But this place is the absolute best place to wash your dog. I don't know if it's the temperature of the water, or the amazing shampoo they have but my giant fluff-ball is clean and smells SO good for at least a month after washing him! The people that work here are really friendly and helpful too. I'll never forget the first time I took my dog here - I had no clue how to work anything, and the guy working walked me through every step and gave me extra time to figure everything out. I took my nephew and niece to Marymoor so they could play fetch with my dogs. Needless to say, the dogs were muddy and so were the kids after a long day. As I led my lab Rufus to the Wash Spot tub, my four- year-old nephew was excited. "Go up the tub," I told Rufus. I'm moving to Seattle, but this would be a go-to for me if I stayed in Bellevue. It's super clean, so convenient, cheap, and the employees are friendly. I was told that I did not have to stay under the time allotted for a wash because it was my first time (pssst I stayed under the limit anyway). My dog loves that I wash her, instead of a stranger, and she likes the free treats. I only wonder how dogs would like being bathed out in the open when the weather gets cooler. Each wash bay has a ramp for your doggie to climb up to the basin, which is at a convenient human height (much better than using the bathtub at home!). The rubber bottomed basin helps slippery paws stay grounded. Strategically placed leashes keep your champ from scurrying out of the basin. Shampoo, towels and dryers are provided to give your pooch the full service wash and dry. Even aprons are standard so you can take your own bath later. At the end of it your dog has the biggest smile and looks like he touched, sniffed, rolled around in everything he could possibly get himself into. You could throw him in the car, i mean he's a dog they do that. ORRRRR the alternative step up to wash spot pay a few bucks and during a timed session clean up your pooch. The Wash Spot provides EVERYTHING, you walk your dog up to the big sink that holds up to some large dogs. They have a hose that depending on which setting you put it on pumps out water, shampoo (two different kinds) hypoallergenic or herbal. They have a blower to dry them off and they provide dry clean towels. Everyone that works there is great and because all stations are timed the wait is minimal. Whoever decided to put a self service dog wash right next to an off leash dog park was an uncomplicated genius. It's a fairly basic set up, but always clean and well maintained. It's hard to overstate how important things like fresh towels and aprons are for things like this, especially when your particular dog treats a vacuum like a exorcism. Everytime I've gone here it's been the same guy running the place, and in all honestly this is more of a review for him personally. He is remarkably sweet and patient, even that first time I turned a knob the wrong way and blew foam halfway across the floor. And just an etiquette note, but even though this is right by the off leash park, you still need them on leash in here. read more

Omg! How have I never used this amazing dog wash before?? I don't frequent the dog park these days because of too many aggressive critters getting the best of my very submissive pup (I don't blame others, my dog plays in a way that brings out aggression in otherwise very docile dogs) but this dog wash is AMAZING. It's hard to find good u-wash places anymore and getting a last minute grooming appointment is such a pain, I'm definitely planning to get a punchcard and come back again on a regular basis! My dog normally hates the dryer but this one had a great low setting he could tolerate. 14 mins was the perfect amount of time, and the attendant was so sweet to my little boys he even brought them kid sized aprons to wear to help out, and a stool to stand on! Wash Spot is the absolutely best DIY dog-wash in this area! Reasons why: 1) It's cheaper than most DIY dogwashes - only ($9.00 for 9 minutes, which is plenty of time to wash my short-hair 70-pound Sharpei-mix). Most other DIY places I've been to run $15-20. 2) The set up is so easy. You use the same hose to rinse and apply shampoo. There's a nob that lets you select water or two different kinds of shampoos. It's fun to see the foam shoot out of the shower head, and you can use as much shampoo as you want. Smells great too. Some other places give you watered-down stuff that doesn't leave my dog's coat very clean. Another hose gives you a low and high setting for drying (dog hates that part). 3) It's fast. Other than the 9-minute wash, you pay quickly at an automated machine and the attendant just quickly cleans between washes and gives you fresh towels and aprons. 4) It's conveniently located next to Marymoor Park. If you haven't been there with your dog, RUN, not walk, over there the minute you have a few free hours! read more

After a few hours in Marymoor park, we really wanted to get Riley washed. Luckily, the Wash Spot was located right next to the park's parking lot. What? No need to get muddy dog into the car, drive to the dog wash, pay $30+ to get him clean, only to then have him return to a muddy car? Awesome. This place is soooo brilliantly convenient! This was the first time we had the courage to wash Riley ourselves. All of our previous attempts at washing him down with a hose were never pretty or successful. But, what did we have to lose? It was so convenient, we just had to give it a try. We reluctantly walked in and were greeted by the staff who were just so darn friendly. They helped us first-timers get him all hooked into the stainless steel washing station, gave us a quick explanation of what to do and how to do it and we were off. We donned our aprons, washed him down with a warm water shower hose, clicked the self-serve-car-wash-type switch for all natural shampoo, scrubbed him down, clicked again for clean rinsing water, and clicked again for a cool air drier. A towel was provided for drying his face. So much fun! A DIY dog cleaning was the best way to end our day at Marymoor. We felt proud. We felt complete. It's about time there was a DIY dog wash opened up in front of the off-leash dog park at Marymoor! After Rutabaga managed to turn herself a lovely shade of dirt I was so relieved that I could clean her up so beautifully and easily for under $10! The tubs are nice and deep and have great drainage. The ramp up into the tub is nice and wide to accommodate all sizes of canine and Rutabaga ran right up it without hesitation. The washing and drying process is super easy since it's DIY car wash style... you turn the dial to select what you need to come out of the hose. The dryer is really nice too... just make sure to rinse all the soap suds down the drain before blowing them all over the place! The staff was super nice and was sure to walk first timers through the process very clearly and helpfully. I left without a big dent in my wallet, a nice smelling doggie, and dry clothes! Highly recommend the Wash Spot if you leave Marymoor with a mess of a dog. read more

This place is so great! Convenient location, great set-up for an in-and-out dog wash! The gentleman working there was so helpful and funny - it made the whole experience that much better! The staff are very friendly, the tubs are a nice height and the prices are reasonable.
