Serge and his team came in, replaced all of them, and the workmanship was outstanding. Our project involved replacing 13 interior doors (including 3 double door closets), and because our home has non-standard door sizes, it required extensive measuring and planning. Serge took the time to carefully measure everything multiple times and even researched the best sources to find the right doors rather than taking shortcuts. He also replaced a bathroom threshold and completed a few other projects, all with the same attention to detail. Throughout the project, Serge was exceptionally communicative, professional, and reliable. His crew was hardworking, respectful, quiet, and left the house clean at the end of each day. Most importantly, the quality of the workmanship was exceptional. Serge is a true perfectionist, and it shows in every detail. The doors fit perfectly, operate smoothly, and the finished product exceeded my expectations. For a little backstory: When some DIY electrical work replacing a ceiling light fixture went wrong, I was stuck without power in my kitchen, living room, or bathroom. I started calling electricians, handy-man services, Home Depot, and anyone else I could get on the line. Mike from MNM Handyman Services was the only person who took the time to listen to me over the phone, and immediately offered some safety tips that allowed me to at least restore power in the rest of my apartment without worrying about electrocuting myself. The very same day, he arrived at my door and took care of the problem. Turns out we were dealing with some pretty ancient wiring, so it wasn't the standard Black/White/Ground situation to connect the fixture. Mike quickly figured out exactly what needed to be done, and explained everything he was doing every step of the way (but of course reminded me never to do it myself unless I know what I'm doing... safety first). Would call 10/10 times for electrical work, or anything else that I can't figure out myself, because I know Mike would make sure it gets done RIGHT. They wouldn't accept the job since the console had been opened in the past citing 'liability' concerns. The receptionist was rude and condescending during the encounter. This was a trial run as I planned on giving them a lot of console work in the future but I will be going elsewhere. I called another repair shop shortly after and they said they would take the job no problem and were able to essentially diagnose the problem over the phone (a solution consistent with that I explained over the phone). Perhaps Replay'd should adjust their policies and their attitude towards potential customers as they never know what opportunities may be lying on the other line.

So, I reached out to a bunch of local tech repair businesses - Jack of Fix 'N Repair responded immediately, but I wanted to wait for more quotes so I could compare... well, 7 other business responses later, it turned out that not only was this place the fastest to respond, but they also gave the quickest turnaround time estimate (30-45 mins vs. 2-48 hrs) and the most competitive price ($20-50 lower than all the others). I went in the next day and was fully expecting to be told the iPad needed to be left there overnight (there were several others customers queued) and that there were other fees in addition to the quote... but nope! Every estimate was accurate: my iPad was returned to me within 30-45 mins with a flawless screen and no hidden charges. They exceeded every expectation on all fronts - the next time I smash a device, I'm going straight there. Also, HUGE shout-out to Matt, the one who did the repairs! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to; I imagine it can be a stressful environment just due to the nature of the job... handling expensive, fragile tech while surrounded by anxious/impatient clients who just came in from rush hour traffic in the middle of a heat wave? The repair options are to either visit the store or a come-to-you service which is unique, convenient, and a great option that sets them apart from other companies. And the at your door service does not have any hidden or extra fees! They are very responsive and quick to get in touch once you submit the form. I reached out during business hours and got a response immediately! I really liked that they asked how to contact - via call, text, or email. I needed my iPad, 9th gen fixed. It was quoted at $119 (+tax). I opted for the come to you service. It said online they have a van and do the repairs that way, however they reached out to see if I was okay with a pick up/drop off instead. That made no difference to me. They were very communicative throughout the process. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and I was able to have them complete repairs the next day! They did a great job with the repair - it looks brand new and you can't tell that there was an accident in the first place! They also asked if I wanted to add a screen protector which I appreciated as I would prefer not to break my screen again. They charged $20 for the protector and application, which I thought was reasonable and worth it for me not to have to mess with putting it on myself. Since I had a case already, I did not need one but they sell cases and accessories too. I highly recommend checking out Fix 'N Repair if you are in Wakefield or surrounding towns. Again, it was super quick and easy, great service, and a job well done!!

This is a pretty spectacular carpet store located in Boston, and while it's not cheap, they have some amazing products here. We aren't even in the market for carpets, but because my family is Persian, I'll often will stop in and see what someone has on sale. Barbie is not too familiar with Persian stuff so I wanted to show her some of the more fancy types of things that you can get. She was pretty impressed, but not enough to part with enough of our money to get one (which she pretty much controls and I like it that way, I mean look at her). What's more - these are good people, and all things considered, this is probably where I would buy carpets in Boston if needed.

The installers mapped the stairs on site to make sure everything was perfect before slicing the runner at the shop. They came back with all the separate pieces to install exactly in each tread. They arrived on time, were always polite, answered all of our questions, made sure our sleeping area in the bedroom was protected from all the construction dust, cleaned up each evening before they left. Arik told us the job would take 2 to 2.5 weeks and it took exactly 2! The only thing left is the glass doors for the shower. Arik brings in the glass guy Rene who measures, discusses what we want, and then orders it for us. When the glass doors are ready to be installed, Arik will come back with Rene to oversee the installation. Arik's price was quite reasonable for the job, and he stuck with it!! There weren't any real unexpected challenges, but he did a few things extra to make sure the job was done right and did not charge any more than his original quote.
