Nadia came to my home with numerous sample books to peruse. I generally find the job of selecting…read morewindow treatments to be quite overwhelming, but Nadia waited patiently as I searched for the best style/ color for my home. Ultimately, I ordered only the cellular shades for my skylights, but Nadia advised me on several other possibilities for other rooms in my home. I am completely delighted with the skylight shades. I did not order the premium style for my skylights, but they still do an excellent job of blocking sunlight, and the room is significantly cooler. They also look much better than I had anticipated. Trevor took extra time during the installation to discuss the best mounting technique for the blinds. In the end, they were mounted flush with the ceiling, and this looks very good, particularly because that room is a loft, and has a sloped ceiling. I would definitely purchase shades from this business again.

"Let the buyer beware."…read more On Wednesday, December 9, 2015, Bill Mullin came to my home to inspect an electrical outlet. A surge of electricity appeared to have burned out a lamp that was plugged into this socket, which caused me alarm. Mr. Mullin inspected the socket, and assured me that it was working properly. He added that a piece of metal must have come into contact with the lamp's socket, and that it was easy and inexpensive to replace. He stated that he could fix the lamp and assured me that he would return it to me by that Friday, December 11th. I never heard back from him. I called him a few times and left messages. I finally reached him the following Friday, December 18th. During this telephone conversation (which I had on speaker phone) he stated that the lamp was fixed, and that he would have it back to me "in a couple of days." Once again, I never heard back from him, despite leaving a couple of messages. I can only assume that he damaged the lamp in some way. This lamp was part of a set, which means I will have to replace the complete set. Mr. Mullin replaced my entire electrical panel last spring, which is why I contacted him about the socket and lamp. He supplied me with a 1-year guarantee for that work, stating that 1 year was standard. I have only recently learned that a 3-year guarantee is standard for this type of job, which cost me in excess of $2,000. I have also been advised to have another licensed electrician perform a thorough inspection his work. It is highly unusual for me to post a negative review. Nevertheless, in view of Mr. Mullin's apparent disingenuous, and oddly passive aggressive behavior, I felt it necessary to advise others of my experience. Unfortunately, it seems that an old adage applies to Mullin Electric: "Let the buyer beware." Mrs. G.M. Snyder, New Bedford, MA
