Dry Zone installed a partial system in my basement and I now have more problems with flooding than I ever had before. They put the pump in the highest part of my basement instead of the lowest and I can't even get them to admit that they made a huge mistake and caused the problem to get much worse. called for an estimate and had a scheduled appointment, so i changed my work schedule around so i could be home. was called an hour before the scheduled appt, they double booked so pushed me off to the next day. so i changed my work schedule for the next day, then got cancelled again. then received an email with a scheduled appt for 4/13 at 1pm. i had never requested that date..needless to say i chose another company. if they cannot even show up for an appointment good luck trying to get a good job done. read more

after experiencing basement flooding for 10 years, I decided to end my stress with the dryzone basement system. Installation team was proficient and professional. System worked like a charm UNTIL I lost power. What wan't explained is that my system has a 3 pump system with a battery backup and the battery only sustains ONE pump. I lost power when I was not home and by the time I got home, I found 4-5 inches of water in my basement. The dry zone basement team came after a quick call and replaced the alarm and once I hooked up my generator and restored power to the system, the basement water pumped out completely. My system appears to be inefficient to handle the the high water table on my property on the battery backup, so I either need to never go on vacation and stay home in case a loss of power or invest in a Generac battery system. read more

I hired DryZone Basement Systems *the Bridgewater , MA. branch to install a sump pump system with a back-up battery powered pump in my basement. The job took less than 5 hours. They cut the floor with a saw and used a jackhammer to remove the dirt below the floor to install the system. they left the site so clean and neat I really don't need to repair any damage. I never had a water issue until I had a new bulkhead door installed--but it leaked during the first major rain event after it was installed improperly. They restored my cement floor to like-new condition., Now I will be safe. I will post an update if the system ever has to turn on--automatically. I have a different bulkhead installer fixing the issue with that door. Michael came to my home when I first called the company, looked over my situation, and showed me exactly where he wanted a new electrical outlet box to be installed, and I had that worked completed before the installation date. Dryzone installed the drainage system so that it was pitched away from the sump instead of towards it, the pipes from the sump to the outside leaked back into the vasement, and the exterior drain pipe didnt go to grade, so water backed up along it towards the house. They sent a tech out to verify the issues, and he confirmed all of them. The company then refused to fix them, stating they wanted a second opinion. The GM lied on the chargeback paperwork I filed, and eventually settled for a partial reimbursement. He also made it seem like he was not going to contest the chargeback, stating that he "understood the chargeback" and said there was nothing he could offer me at the time. read more

The crew at DryZone did a good job with respect to the installation work, but I was not happy at all when the truck backed up onto my front yard to turnaround upon leaving. I was especially upset given that there was a clear spot across the street for turning around which I told them to use (I guess they ignored me and felt compelled to ruin my lawn instead). read more

We were having basement flooding issues. DryZone responded quickly and were able to solve our issue by installing a French drain from our storm door entrance to our existing sump pump, and by installing a second sump pump in the area with the most flooding. Total the cost was just under $2,000. Other companies said the best solution was replacing the storm doors and pouring more concrete, which they estimated at $5,000 and above. I'm so glad we didn't do that because we haven't had an issue since. Rating 4 stars because one of the reps kept pushing we install around the entire perimeter of the basement which we couldn't do because a portion of it is finished and would require a lot of additional work. When we kept asking for alternatives he got a little rude, but we only had to work with him through the quote process. read more

They just don't get the hint. Don't request to be contacted by these folks. They will call you every 3 hours, mainly when you are at work and can't receive the calls. In 3 weeks i got 45 voicemails. I blocked their number from ringing on my phone, and blocked by voicemail from accepting their messages as i had to listen to 14 messages before i found out my mother was in surgery, fortunately i didn't All was quiet, until a random set of 3 text messages came through months later. "Hello Justin. We have been trying to reach you to schedule the free estimate you had inquired about through our website back in November for your basement or crawlspace, please give us a call to set up this appointment or reply to this text to be removed from our followup list" My reply "Obviously i blocked your number because calling every 3 hours shows desperation and i don't need a desperate contractor." Their Response "You contacted us first because you said you were in need of our services. WAHHHH WAHHHH We were just trying to help you. WAHHH WAHHH Thank you for the response we can now remove you WAHHHH WAHHHHH from our followup list." Yes I asked to be contacted... moral of the story. Call , leave a message and wait to be gotten back to. Don't blow up peoples phones. Also, due to new laws passed it is illegal for a company to contact someone by text unless they implicitly opt in. Just because you assume most of the phone numbers you collect are statistically cell phones... you cannot text. Please review the TCPA rules for compliance on this. DryZone Basement Systems gets my EAT DIRT rating, or as yelp puts it Eek! Methinks Not/1 star. read more

Sales and installation were absolutely fine, after sale care needs work. After the install I had an issue which I had to threaten to escalate in order to get resolved. They sent someone out right away to fix it, and they were fine too, but when I followed up with an email afterward there was no response. They made adjustments to our installation that made far better sense than what the salesperson originally planned for the project. Professional from beginning to end! This is the second home in which I've used Dryzone Basement Systems. My positive experience with the first home in Quincy, more than 15 years ago, was so professional and positive that I didn't need to repeat all the research I had previously done. My 1st home didn't have a pump previously, but water came into my basement and I panicked. I never worried about it again. My new home in Rockland already had an antiquated pump without a battery back up. What good is a pump if the power goes out and you don't have a back up? Plus the outflow piping was not freeze proof and was just a flexible hose. The replacement pump is in, as well as the dehumidifier/air cleaner which feeds right into the pump. It doesn't look at all like anyone was here working today. They called to confirm the day before, they called when they were on the way, they showed up and did an outstanding job. I can't even see where the lawn was dug up to bury the out flow pvc pipes. I'm beyond impressed and finally feel secure about moving furniture into my finished basement. read more

Had a few people come through, but was impressed with the knowledge that the salesman had. He explained the different types of foundations and how the approach changed depending on which you had. Since we had a corner where the sump was that was open, he was able to tell what type of foundation. From there he built a solution that would solve the leak from the cold seam on the addition and clean up the sump area. We had to postpone the project due to family issues, but almost six months later, Jay was more than happy to stop back and go over the original quote with us. We walked through a second time just to affirm everything and then within two weeks, the crew was on site and the work was done. The crew did a great job cleaning up after themselves. All the debri was carried out and off site. Where we used to have an open sump that was piped outside, across our patio and through black flex hose across the yard, we now have a system that goes out the side of the house, collects some of the downspouts also and goes underground across the yard. With the triple sump system, it is all sealed up so it is not another source of moisture in the basement. The battery backup keeps things running during power outages, and the additional pump helps the system keep up in case we have rains like we had back in 2010 that flooded everyone out. Probably the best is the new dehumidifier system they installed. Unlike the store bought version that was constantly running, this unit is set at 55% humidty and gets it down there fast and shuts off. All ready we can feel a difference in the basement. The real test will be when the big rains come again, but so far, we are happy with the way the basement looks and actually planning on being able to utilize the space. read more

Everything went like clockwork. The team arrived when the were expected, kept noise and dust to a minimum, and cleaned up when they were done. It took part of a second day to complete our project. Since then, we have seen a very heavy rain and the basement remained bone dry, except for a small spot in the center of the floor, which evaporated quickly thanks to the dehumidifier we requested. The next time that spot appears, I will draw a chalk circle around it so we can call Rob Coggeshall, our rep, to bring it to his attention. I am looking forward to how the system will perform in March and April, typically the months with the most rain. We would highly recommend Dry Zone Basement Systems. The sales guy did a thorough analysis of our basement water issues, then came up with a reasonably priced solution that makes sense for our situation. He recommended a sump pump be installed at opposite corners of our large basement, then IF we required additional sumps or drain trenches they could be added. The other companies that gave us estimates wanted to start with a maximum solution that would have cost many thousands of dollars more. The installation crew, Ryan and Jeremy, arrived on time, were very courteous and obviously very skilled at installing systems. They took care to cover anything that might get dust on it from the work. They did a terrific job, then cleaned up everything before they left. This company is a class act! read more

Dehumidifier units they use (Sendona) are failing "worldwide" I am told. They didn't even advise customers; guess you should go and look for error messages on unit in your crawl space - lucky I guess that I did. Then they schedule a "swap out" but didn't come with a unit after calling to say yesterday they'd be here today to "swap out". Manager says her people knew - nice way to support your people Erin! She's expecting more units in next week but doesn't have a date from manufacturer; she sent an email today - pick up the phone - you should expect better service from your supplier so you can take care of your customers. The weather is such that mustiness that's grown should not be a problem she says - a strong Nor'easter rain storm is expected - keep trying. Terrible service. read more

Just had Ryan Daffinee come to my home to repair a crack in the foundation. Pat Cahill came out to give me an estimate and within a few days, Ryan was here to repair the crack. They were very professional, courteous, on time, and the repair looks great! It is guaranteed not to leak again so what more could one ask for? I like doing business with people that do the job right the first time. Ryan was even kind enough to assist my builder with a small refrigerator that was delivered for the basement. I searched for months and got a number of estimates before we decided to go with Dry Zone in Taunton. They were priced midrange. Not the lowest and not the highest. We needed concrete poured in a dirt part of our basement, drain system installed and some rock/ledge covered with clean space plastic. This was no easy job. Todd the owner has extensive knowledge in basement water problems. I felt very comfortable with his sales rep. and his entire install team. They were on time and on budget as promised. His crew even fixed additional items that they didn't have to. Today it is rare to find a company that goes above and beyond. Customer service was excellent! These guys are the best! First, I purchased a Sani-Dry basement dehumidification unit to rid the basement of my new-construction home of humidity and mildew (that was ruining valuables stored in the basement by the hours). This proprietary Sani-Dry unit is a game-changer. Has made my basement dry, and keeps the entire basement (a very large basement) at the exact humidity level that I dial-in. The unit is also very quiet, very efficient, and filters the air (removing dust and particles). People/Service - A+++! Great sales experience, very good value, especially considering the damage to health and valuables caused by humidity and mold/mildew. After the sale? Even better! We noticed a large pool of water on the basement floor near out heating - a/c and sani-dry. Called Dry Zone, and they were out the same day within an hour or so of calling! Moreover, the Sani-Dry unit was performing normally, and the culprit was actually the condensate pump on our central a/c units. Nonetheless, the Dry Zone service rep found the issue, and quickly repaired some bare wires in the pump that was causing a short - this was not Dry Zone's problem, but they took care of it anyway. Can't recommend this product or the company enough. If you have a basement in the northeast, you need a sani-dry from Dry Zone. read more

They finished the job in 1.5 days (was supposed to be ~2 days) and were very respectful and diligent throughout the entire project.
