I described the half dozen small repairs I needed for my house (several sliding closet doors off their track, shower door wont close, faucet repair, Cable TV/Stereo wall plate covers dangling, etc.). He said that he was very busy, but because he was working in the same town as where I needed his help (Newton), he agreed to come by and take a look at the miscellaneous repairs. John came within the SAME DAY - in fact, within 30 minutes!!! He quickly went around my house and quoted me an estimate, to which I agreed. I told John that I had previously received a lower price elsewhere via Facetiming another handyman to show him the repairs, but that handyman ended up being a "No Show" afterwards, so I was willing to give John the extra money he estimated because John immediately answered the phone, showed up. It's Sunday afternoon and I wanted to enjoy some coffee on the balcony and of course that's when the sliding glass door decided it was time to roll off it's track and leave me and my apartment exposed and cold. Through a quick google search I began to realize there aren't a lot of handymen who work on such short notice let alone on a Sunday. That's where John came in. Not only was he incredibly professional and personable over the phone as I frantically told him my situation, but he also came on time and fixed the door in less than an hour. He was able to fix the wheels on the door, and went out of his way to smooth part of the track that was rough in order to ensure that the door would slide better. During a recent downpour, I noticed water dripping from the ceiling around my bathroom fan. I needed to find someone quickly to come to​ repair a roof leak, most likely around the vent pipe. Terrific work!! I e-mailed John about doing some small projects (adding a deadbolt to a basement door, repairing a mailbox, and fixing a baby gate) and he was at my house within the hour to do the work!!!
