Well I was so nervous for being 5 minutes late for the appointment, but ended walking around sweating in that hot store for half an hour after I got there before she was taken back. Not 5 minutes later, Andria S. called me asking me if I was still in the store, I was, she says that my cat had scratched her with only one nail clipped, that she could not finish the appointment and that I needed to come back to the grooming desk to pick her up! *sarcastic gasp* Wow!! I am shocked!! My cat scratched a complete stranger that is clipping nails, which she hates. I felt a little sorry about her getting scratched, but that's part of the job when you work so closely with cats. It's your job!! Then, when I get the counter at the grooming center, my cat is in her carrier which is sitting on the counter COMPLETELY ALONE!! Seriously, you left her sitting there for anyone to walk by and just pick up her carrier! Andria S. the highly recommended and beloved groomer couldn't even wait the 2 minutes it took me to get to the grooming center, and speak to me face to face- like a decent human being!! No she had already started working on the next pet on her agenda! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

As you see the 50% was the largest print on the sign but in smaller writhing's was buy one get one 50% off. See this is where the 1st scammers started was in Stroes luring in the elder people to buy the stuff at exuberant prices. When I asked the young girl at the register after she added up out total about the 50% off, she laughs and said oh it gets everyone they make the 50% off the biggest thing on the sign but if you would read the whole thing it said, buy one a regular price and get one at 50% off, (scammers). When we first started bringing her I was concerned she would be hungry if she was there all day. The staff said the dogs don't usually eat because there's so much going on and new doggy friends to smell but they let me try anyway to ease my mind. (She didn't eat. ) Recently my girl was sprayed by a skunk. Ben explained over the phone what to do to help her at home until I could bring her in. They returned my dog to me skunk-smell-free and happy. I have also brought my cat in to have her glands expressed and Lisa recommended a new food. We switched and my cat's energy level skyrocketed, she started jumping on high surfaces again, and no more gland issues! She acts like a kitten again. Love this place! The staff is kind and knowledgeable and you can tell they love the animals if you stay a while and listen to them talk to the doggies as they groom.

If you're coming for cat products, you have some options, but not as much compared to the big chain stores. They even have a dog wash station! The self wash stations are available by appointment and also on a first come, first serve basis. The stations close at 6 pm Monday through Saturday and close at 4 pm on Sundays. Wash and dry time is limited to 30 minutes total per dog and costs about $15 per dog. Add on's (de-shed, for example) are available too. A rewards program is also offered in which you can obtain points and use them for a discount when a certain threshold in reached. Also, check their website for monthly promos, too! Lastly, we were also told they have two sister stores as well: Play Wash Pint (barks and brews) and Play Wash Stay (boarding and daycare). We look forward to checking out each one. Just love this place! Everything you need for your furry friends is here with exceptional staff, who are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The store at Hamilton Place is a pitiful place for the animals. Two of the dogs are too big for…read morethe kennels and one is "kennel crazy" -- bouncing from one side to another. The store is full of toys but these dogs don't have ANYTHING in their kennels to play with. Several of the dogs are in desperate need of bath and grooming. The 4 mo. Golden Retriever has been in kennel for TWO months. Asking price is now $1,495 down from $1,895. I can't imagine who would pay this amount from a pet store. What happens to the dogs if they're not adopted or get too big for the small kennels? Pitiful situation.

They let us meet him, we fell in love with him, and everyone was extremely nice and gave us hope we would bring this dog home. We went back the next day to see if we could play with him, we called multiple times and got no answer, so we went in for an open adoption day. The entire vibe changed. They treated us like we were stupid, and straight up lied to us, and told us to come back in a year when we were ready. Mind you, I have my own business, my boyfriend used to be a vet tech, we both have had multiple dogs in our lives, and I even started an entire parvovirus fund in honor of my puppy I recently lost. This place WILL judge a book by its cover. I also just found out that the dog we wanted, which was now 3 weeks ago, IS STILL WITHOUT A HOME. So, unless you are 50 and pull up in a range rover, good luck getting a dog here.
