Well I was so nervous for being 5 minutes late for the appointment, but ended walking around sweating in that hot store for half an hour after I got there before she was taken back. Not 5 minutes later, Andria S. called me asking me if I was still in the store, I was, she says that my cat had scratched her with only one nail clipped, that she could not finish the appointment and that I needed to come back to the grooming desk to pick her up! *sarcastic gasp* Wow!! I am shocked!! My cat scratched a complete stranger that is clipping nails, which she hates. I felt a little sorry about her getting scratched, but that's part of the job when you work so closely with cats. It's your job!! Then, when I get the counter at the grooming center, my cat is in her carrier which is sitting on the counter COMPLETELY ALONE!! Seriously, you left her sitting there for anyone to walk by and just pick up her carrier! We can now take Moose off leash comfortably knowing she will come when called, sit and stay even in busy environments. I feel like we are happier humans and she is a happier dog thanks to Sam's help. Kat quickly got in touch and we had about a 30-min call, which provided me with INVALUABLE insight into my urgent situation. That information she gave me--keep in mind, I had paid no money for her advice or training to this point--gave me some practices I could use, right away, to make Raffi feel more comfortable.
