It was a combination of foul water and a diaper smell. Perhaps the fish tanks and pet stations need a cleaning? We came in search of harnesses. They had a good variety. The prices were a bit high, and the displays were a bit disheveled. A lot of the harnesses we became fond of, unfortunately, were out of stock in the size we needed. We then went to look at the treats aisle and noticed a handful of dog food bags that were on the bottom shelves had an accumulation of dried urine on them. Just something to note and advise to perhaps not purchase any items from any bottom shelf. In our entire visit, we also noticed no one greeted us, asked if we needed assistance, etc. We ended up leaving and headed to the Petco just down the road and had a much better experience there.

We were also pleasantly surprised to find a good clearance section too. While walking around the store, we stopped by the small animals for sale. Happily, they all looked healthy. We appreciate how clean and tidy this store was kept as well as how friendly and helpful the staff were. We'll definitely return to this Petco for any future needs for our dog if we can't find it first from a mom and pop store and need the selection. Highly recommend.

I've been in the aquarium hobby for over 20 years, and I can honestly say this is the BEST fish…read morestore I have ever stepped foot in. Finding a shop that truly cares about the animals is rare, but this place is in a league of its own. The first thing I noticed was how immaculate the facility is. Whether you are looking at the freshwater or saltwater sections, the tanks are crystal clear and the livestock is incredibly healthy and active. As any veteran hobbyist knows, store cleanliness is the biggest indicator of how well the fish are treated, and this place is spotless. I had the chance to speak with the owner during my visit, and I was blown away by his expertise. It's refreshing to talk to someone who isn't just trying to make a sale, but actually understands the science and care behind a thriving reef or planted tank. They have absolutely everything you need to start, maintain, or upgrade an aquarium, regardless of your experience level. I know it's tempting to look at big-box retailers like PetSmart for lower prices, but you truly get what you pay for here. The value of starting with a healthy, quarantined animal and getting expert advice is priceless. I've officially found my new home base for all things aquatic--I won't be shopping anywhere else from now on. 10/10 recommend!

Our tank ran flawlessly for years, a stable 36-gallon saltwater setup that we maintained meticulously with no issues whatsoever. That all changed when, after 2.5 years without adding any new fish or livestock, we decided to purchase one from their store. Not long after introducing it to our quarantined system, the new fish brought in Ich, contaminating the entire tank. We lost two healthy, long-term fish as a result. Nothing else had been added to the tank in over two years, so the source was unmistakably clear, this fish from Bermuda Triangle. I get it, diseases can slip through in this hobby sometimes, and we're experienced enough to know the risks. But we reached out to the owner politely, asking if he'd consider even a small concession, just a few dollars off to help offset the cost of replacing the lost fish. We weren't demanding free replacements or a full refund; just some goodwill gesture for loyal customers. After a lengthy phone call, he adamantly refused any kind of help or accountability. It was shocking, the owner is a piece of work, showing zero willingness to stand behind his sales. There are far better, more reputable options out there, like stores in Hixson or reliable online suppliers who actually care about customer satisfaction. Skip Bermuda Triangle for anything live; the risk of introducing diseased fish to your tank isn't worth it. Weak ownership and poor service--1 star only because of our past purchases. Stay cautious.

I'm just going to sort of throw this out there and hope it finds its way home:…read more Ich is short for the name of a ciliated protozoan of the genus Ichthyophthirius. It is usually present all the time in aquaria in small numbers, just like germs are in the air we breathe. However, when a fish suffers from extreme stress, such as a sudden drop in temperature (or pH swing, salinity change, poor water quality, etc) its resistance is lowered and it becomes vulnerable to diseases. Outbreaks also occur after the introduction of new fish to an established aquarium. Fish mania hasn't let me down in the 20 years I've kept freshwater fish.
