So today, I finally visited their new facility, what an incredible upgrade! I have only used the grooming service for my Black Russian Terriers. This breed is incredibly large, but it doesn't phase the staff in the least. While a little more expensive than some of the other local groomers I have used over the years, I am confident that my pets have been well treated and the staff does a great job, not an easy undertaking. The new facility is gorgeous, particularly noticeable is the additional room they now have for boarding, something I will now consider given the more expansive space. The staff has always been friendly, engaging and kind to my pets, now with the new facility, it's time to consider the additional services. read more

When I picked up my yorkie today he was in the same sweater I dropped him off in 3 days ago. (I put sweaters on him because he weighs 4 lbs and it is very cold in Tennessee this time of year.) I provided 3 different sweaters in his bag. There are also multiple HUMONGOUS mats in the fur on his legs. I groom my dog myself , I comb his legs regularly and am well aware that I did not bring him there with any, as he never develops them at home. I do not appreciate the condition I received my dog in, I can only hope that this is not a reflection of the way he was being treated during his time at this establishment. read more

I don't blame the guys who work there, so much as whoever is in charge of their booking process, but God help you if you book a ten day vacation 3 months out and get scheduled to drop your dog off on a Sunday afternoon. We showed up at the time we had verified twice via text (6pm), a time scheduled for us, not chosen by us, only to find they were closed! And i only received a call back two hours later omw to the person we used instead (Waterdance Dogs in Harrison: 5 Stars!) We had to scramble to find someone open on a Sunday who would take her on such short notice and pray that when we arrived we could trust them. Thankfully, Nancy at Waterdance Dogs out down Highway 58 was accommodating & awesome! Petquest's website also led me to believe my dog would need to pass a temperament test before check-in, but apparently they can test after drop-off. If ur dog don't pass, ur dog don't play. Fair enough. So, I went ahead and booked one anyway; might as well let her check the place out and get familiar with the fact that I might not always be around, before we take off for Disney. But we scheduled it for Memorial Day! Lol, I got a call back and we changed it, no problem, but why in the eff does the computer system let these poor guys schedule things for predefined, company-wide black-out dates?! I can't be alone in hating companies that let their employees bear the brunt of customer ire whenever the salaried big-wogs decide to cut costs around quality control. read more

My two small dogs love this place. One is much more social and gets very excited when we go for daycare. The other is more of a single dog and loves being loved on while the others play. Have also used them for grooming and boarding and very happy with both. For years she happily went to daycare but due to health issues, she can't participate any longer. The outside play area is well designed and the pups have good supervision. Would never recommend anyone to come here. Within hours of picking up my dog he started throwing up and acting very defensive. My dog was crate trained prior to his 3 day stay here and the same evening we have him home he stands in his crate and proceeds to pee with no signal or anything like that indicating he needed to go outside. I'm forced to believe they did not follow his diet instructions or let him out to use the restroom! It's no reason a dog's habits and demeanor should change like that for no reason. If i could get my money back i would. Edit: He now has Kennel Cough and i couldn't be more upset w his condition returning from this boarding facility. My dog is also extremely aggressive and defensive upon his return, randomly snapping at even a slight 2 seconds of eye contact. Took my Husky in this morning for a blow out of his fur after having a bath about a week ago, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place! 10/10! They were so kind (and even let me push my drop off earlier) great price for just a blow out service, and he looks SO much better! Not to mention the place was super clean! If I could give negative 5 stars I would. My daughter dropped her dog off for daycare on September 10,2019 and was called later to inform her that her dog had jumped over the fence earlier that morning and was no where to be found. Stories change... collar on, collar off... nobody knows for sure. Conveniently the cameras do not record. Bottom line our sweet dog is gone because of them. Never called to follow up. sad situation. Think twice about boarding at this facility. I appreciate your response Alex but we have not heard from your since September. We communicated for a couple of days, that's it. It is unfortunate but as of now we are still missing our poor dog and we have no clue as to what has happened to him. You have made it seem like it was my daughters fault for bringing you this pup who had anxiety and even told others that she was new to the area and had no business bringing him to you. I had booked a grooming appointment for three of my dogs and I wanted it around Christmas, they were so sweet on accommodating me last minute to get me squeezed in which I was super thankful for. Once I got there to do drop off they were so nice and I was able to meet the groomer and tell him what I wanted done which is a first time that a groomer has done that. Once I got my dogs back I noticed some things I wanted to fix and the groomers were understanding and immediately took him back and corrected what I pointed out which I was very thankful for. Everyone on the staff was sweet and I would recommend this place to my friends. read more

This is what I found when I returned home. My shirt was full of blood that was coming out of her neck and the groomer Michael did not even bother to address this with me before I picked her up or while I was paying. I tried to put a wash cloth to see if she would stop bleeding when I noticed that it was not the only place. She also had cuts on the head and ears and because her furr is black, I didn't notice and they kept their mouths shut. I am definitely not returning and would not recommend this place. read more

First time leaving my dogs at PetQuest. Staff very friendly. Although website made this place look clean and awesome it was not. The front desk/check in area/lobby untidy at best and smelled like well let's say a dirty Dog kennel. As the point of entry it kinda made me leery from the get go. Counter top cluttered. Shelves dusty and cluttered. Floor dirty. Just not very welcoming. I wanted too see what type of room my dogs were going to stay in but was apprehensive, needed to get going on my overnight trip, and thought surely they will be ok for one night. And they were. They did not seem upset or frightened. However, they smelled like a dirty dog kennel and had to have baths when we got home. So bottom line is perhaps they just need some more help to keep place tidy and fresh smelling. Not sure yet if I will try them again read more

We have used them to board our dog several times. Staff is friendly and at first was the best place we had found to board our sweet dog. However the past couple times when we picked him up, his bed was saturated in pee.... who knows how long he was left sleeping in that!?!? The first time around, we choked it up to, ok, this was a one time incident, but now it's getting disturbing. Not sure if they're just over booking, understaffed or what, but due to this happening multiple times now, we will no longer be using them as our babies home away from home when we go on trips. read more

So impressed!! I dropped off my Aussie Charlie who is very attached to me, and was a bit worried he would be sad the few nights away from home. Right when I walked through the door one of the workers started petting Charlie and trying to comfort him (he looked very sad, he is a bit emotional lol). This place is what I would consider a mom and pop day care. Both of my dogs absolutely love staying here. One has separation issues but she is always excited to arrive which tells me they are treated very well. Yes they do smell like "dirty dogs" when returning home BUT I would expect nothing less. It means they have been playing and having fun with the other dogs. It means they have been let outside to run around. It means they were dogs being dogs and nothing less. You could pay to have the dogs groomed before pick up if bathing them yourselves after playtime is a hassle. Overall I recommend this place to everyone! read more

Made appointments for dog grooming for a Friday morning appointment that showed available earlier in the week. Neither staff nor owner confirmed the appointment. Personally checked schedule Thursday morning to see what was going on and still had availability throughout the day. Then was called Thursday afternoon and was told by the business they were overbooked because they didn't confirm. Made appointments with another groomer to get my dogs groomed. Tried this place a couple of times but not really sure they want business as they are not responsive in a timely manner for grooming or bordering. I actually delayed a trip to get the dogs groomed here. That was my mistake and I won't let it happened again. read more

Unfortunately, we will not be returning here. Ollie has stayed with PetQuest twice for boarding (3-4 days each visit). The first visit I sent him with pain medication and asked they ONLY give it when he was limping or acting like he hurt. They gave it every day instead. He came home smelling like urine and dirty dog. This past visit was worse. Sent him with flea and heart worm medication with labels and instructions. Have verbal instructions one when to give it. When I picked him up the medications were in the bag untouched. He again smelled terrible and was clearly very dirty. But the worst was that he looked emaciatedly thin. We noticed that not all of his food had been given to him. Took him to the vet to weigh him and he had lost 5 pounds in 4 days. I am very very unhappy with this most recent experience and hope people will take caution when leaving their dogs with this business overnight. read more

I took my dog Max recently to PetQuest after a few years of taking him to Petco. And boy, was I impressed. I was a bit worried at first on how well they would groom him since he is a thick haired, Shi-poo. Thomas ended up grooming Max exactly how I had requested and actually did a better job, for less the cost than I was paying with Petco! Nevertheless, I am a HUGE fan of PetQuest now. I will NEVER go back to Petco for anything. I can get all of my needs met at PetQuest. Even Max was very happy. They are worth giving a try. read more
