We checked in in the middle of the night, so we couldn't see much. We knew we had to cross a new bridge and when we did we could make the outline of the cabin, which we already knew was on the smaller size. When we walked in and soaked the place up it seems so much larger inside. The space was so efficiently built that there was a living room, full kitchen and the sleeping area upstairs. By knows means is it Ginormous though. We slept great and the next morning we were treated to the view of horses, sheep, chicken and goats in the pasture back beyond the bridge and field we came in from. We explored the farm over the next couple days and the mountains too. But usually we were happy to come back, sit on the porch and talk or read a book or watch a movie at one point. My dog loved the area and the cabin. He is crate trained and seemed to think of the cabin as one big crate for his "pack". Although I like to mix it up when traveling, I think we may end up staying at the cabin again.

The girl looks at me and says I have no idea she goes but you did sign off on liability. At this time, I just wanna get Delilah home, but I wanted to come across the counter and ring her neck I looked at her and I said I signed off on liability, not negligence. You have veterinarians right next-door. Something happened to her and she should've been seen. After going to an emergency veterinarian in downtown Chattanooga $8000 later, my dog who just turned four in 2025 is handicapped. She has damage to her back vertebrae's and her anal sphincter. So in other words when she has to go poop, her little nub will go straight up in the air, I have to run to get her outside. She has no control. She also can't wag her nub anymore either I would never recommend this place and I have medical records to back up improve what I'm saying is the truth. I now have a dog that if I need to board her and I have found a boarding facility that I do love she has to wear a diaper. Biggest mistake I have ever made, and I have to live with this for the rest of my life. And unfortunately, so does Delilah.

I brought her to Shallowford Animal Hospital at the suggestion of a friend and was blown away. It's very clean, the staff is kind and accommodating, and they definitely take advantage of 21st century technology, with computer in the exam rooms and a very convenient monthly automated billing system. Their wellness packages are totally comprehensive and very reasonably priced, especially since it meant that all her preventative services were included and would be taken care of. Their staff at the front desk are amazing, by the way - they have listened to me freak out hysterically after my dog was injured and have gotten me last minute appointments on more than one occasion, plus they are great with email correspondence which is oftentimes a lot more convenient for me. I have seen both Dr. Mabe and Dr. Bearden and found them both to be incredibly attentive and patient, which is helpful when you have a 50lb spaz dog like mine. I have also brought dogs to them that I have fostered, and I have recommended them to all my friends, even the ones who don't have pets. Sadly I had to move away for grad school, and I suspect my standards may be set a little too high after this since I'm not sure another vet will live up to the experience I've had here. But if I ever make it back to the Noog this will be one of our first stops.

I told them I'd wait another 15 mins (would have been 45 mins past my appt time). So, the front desk clerk (technician?) apparently went to the only doctor working that day, and the doctor said it's going to be more than 45 mins (past my appt time) -- maybe longer before I would get seen. Mind you, I arrived early and all my paperwork was complete. I told the tech that I'd go ahead and leave. They said, "Well, yes, we can make you another appointment." I said, "No, I won't be coming back here." I spent all that time doing the paperwork and packing my pet up to go to the appointment, and that's it. How would you feel if this happened to you? OK, I get it, you may have only one doctor there that day; however, you are all about texting/phoning the client, so, why didn't you give me text/call letting me know the situation (they had no shortage of people up front), and I could have rescheduled without having to go to the appointment, to only sit there all that time. My pet was in the carrier the whole time, and was more concerned about it than my time. There was no engagement with the techs up front. I had to do all the engaging and asking questions. Noone ever came to check up on me or anything until I started engaging with them (being proactive) 30 minutes into my wait. I will hopefully find a good, engaging, economical veterinarian for my pet, in the Chattanooga area. I will use Yelp to help me find the best that my pet deserves. I'm being generous giving two stars on this one.

Every time she takes her Laberdoodle there the dog comes home looking better than the last time. She groomes her Laberdoodle the way that breed is supposed to look. She is amazing. Our dogs love to go for a ride in the truck. Every time the see that they are going to the Barking Lot they get super excited. Mayra and the whole staff treat our dogs like they are their's. When we go to pick them up they don't want to leave. That shows us how much the love and care for our fur babies. Whenever we go on a vacation, we always board our babies there. The prices were a bit high, and the displays were a bit disheveled. A lot of the harnesses we became fond of, unfortunately, were out of stock in the size we needed. We then went to look at the treats aisle and noticed a handful of dog food bags that were on the bottom shelves had an accumulation of dried urine on them. Just something to note and advise to perhaps not purchase any items from any bottom shelf. In our entire visit, we also noticed no one greeted us, asked if we needed assistance, etc. We ended up leaving and headed to the Petco just down the road and had a much better experience there.
