When I was trying to talk to Taylor about the cost she said, "well maybe we're just not a good fit for you." I told her there was at least three groomers in the area that I knew for a fact were not charging $65. That's when she said, "well I guess we're not a good fit for you" and I said, "no you are not." So utterly disappointed and angry.

When I contacted the groomer and sent photos, I was disappointed by the response. Rather than expressing concern or offering any resolution, I was blamed for the matting, told 'what do you want me to do? I'm a groomer.' reminded that I signed a waiver, and told to stop texting. There was no apology, no offer to examine my dogs, and no concern for his condition. My concern isn't the necessary shave. It's the multiple clipper injuries and how my concerns were handled afterward. Based on this experience, I'll not be returning.

We called to schedule weeks ago and asked for an estimated price, we were told $300 and decided to move forward because we really enjoy the vet overall and have had a good experience thus far. Once we got there (he had taken the medication necessary too) we asked again how much they thought it would cost and said $425ish. We were confused and said oh, we called previously and were quoted $300, they asked if we had a written statement and of course no, we just called. At this point, our dog was already at the vet and had medication to prepare for the surgery, so we felt like we had to move forward. Well, when we picked him up, we were charged $530 for the procedure. Once we asked why it raised, they knocked off $40 for a shot they didn't even give him. If we hadn't asked, we would've paid for something that he didn't even receive. Again, I'm not posting this to be ridiculous or rude, I genuinely have enjoyed our experience with Applebrook. But this instance left us super frustrated and disappointed. I'm only posting a review because we had told them multiple times we were initially quoted $300, and left paying over $500. Just do better about transparent pricing please! On the plus side, the vet techs are very kind and love our dog. Their puppy package has been great for his first year, and I generally would recommend them! I hope this review is more helpful than harmful to Applebrook and their transparency for pricing & educating their staff on handling conversations like this to provide clarity.

I don't know if this location has new management or what, but it's gone downhill terribly. The prices were always far too high, but now they have at least four different assistant managers, one beauty-school dropout of a groomer, and not one person who seems to actually know what they're doing other than a couple of the younger employees. Even then, it seems that the good ones have been getting fired lately so they can "save money". Save yourself (and your pets) and find somewhere else to go. read more

Don't use Petco in Cleveland, TN. Charged me almost $60 to bathe, clip nails and brush teeth on my 6 month, 6 pound SH dachshund -- and that was their special. I thought I was looking at $23 my friend took her two doxies -- she got her bill torn up because she was willing to have a yelling match with the manager. this is my version of yelling. Hour 4 called another hour...hour 5 called they said another 1/2 hour by that time I was already driving there as in screw this is ridiculous a dog at a groomer for 51/2 hours Walked in asked for my pup 10 minutes later... now we're going into hour 6.. oh we need to wash his feet He had an accident wtheck I then asked after being here over 5 hours do you take them out to go to the bathroom? She said they did well... Why is my pup crapping himself and have on his paws?!? They now need to rewash his paws that now adding another 10 minutes ans of course he's like let's gooooooo I take him outside before we get into car I let him go to the bathroom He LITERALLY peed for 5 minutes.. no joke!!! I'm thinking you actually don't take them Out to go pee and WHY?!? Is this some kind of factory assembly line WHY does it take a dog 51/2 hours to get groomed?!?!?! Then I put him in the car he drank a bowl and a half of water... a large bowl I say abuse in the highest form... APPALLING!! I will never EVER bring my pups there and anyone who does is crazy!! I've had my pups groomed since I got them When they were puppies they are both now 9 and it's NEVER taken this amount of time to have them taken care of and not even quality grooming and btw when he got in the car I was petting him ( some comfort after all that crap) no pun intended and hair was coming off him like crazy in my hands... after 6 hrs he should have been flawless!! You honestly need to change how you manage you pup Intake have A groomer take care of a pup till completion!! Maybe try and not multitask several pups to one person at the same time. I was truly hoping this was our spot but never will go here again !! EVER!!!

They carry a wide…read moreselection of pet products from harnesses, toys, treats, to a variety of dog foods, clothes and blankets, and grooming products. They even have an in-house bakery. If you're coming for cat products, you have some options, but not as much compared to the big chain stores. They even have a dog wash station! The self wash stations are available by appointment and also on a first come, first serve basis. The stations close at 6 pm Monday through Saturday and close at 4 pm on Sundays. Wash and dry time is limited to 30 minutes total per dog and costs about $15 per dog. Add on's (de-shed, for example) are available too. A rewards program is also offered in which you can obtain points and use them for a discount when a certain threshold in reached. Also, check their website for monthly promos, too! Lastly, we were also told they have two sister stores as well: Play Wash Pint (barks and brews) and Play Wash Stay (boarding and daycare). We look forward to checking out each one. Just love this place! Everything you need for your furry friends is here with exceptional staff, who are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Bring your pet in for a friendly shopping spree ;-)

This is my preferred TSC location as they aren't maskholes. I walked in, no mask, and was greeted with a smile, at least I think it was a smile. I headed straight back to the feed area and started loading up the bags I needed. To my surprise, I ran in to a buddy of mine that helped me decide on some winter feed. I had been buying layer feed every week and he suggested I switch over to some scratch grain for the winter, since my hens won't be laying much during the cold. As I was looking around, I began to notice the mix of feed from fowl to livestock with no clear line of demarcation. That's the only problem with TSC. Things tend to blend in. I also like shopping the herbicide and really wish they had more options available, similar to what our local CO-OP has. Either way, I really love our TSC in Cleveland. The people make the experience great. Thanks TSC!
