I can tell you that my dog has "scolded" me in the past when I picked him up from other places where they probably didn't treat him well. He would share his distress with high pitched screeching and would pull to leave as quickly as possible. Today, when I picked up my dog, he was very happy to see me but was not freaking out to leave as fast as he could. The staff here genuinely love dogs and provide awesome care. When we got home, my aging dog was wanting to play fetch and had a renewed interest in his stuffed toys which made me think that they were playing with him to make sure he was stimulated during his stay. My dog is testy about meeting new dogs and doesn't do well in dog parks, so I was trepidatious about bringing her to a kennel-free day care, but the staff are all pro. Cookie gets to hang out in the "sweet old ladies' club," with other calm older dogs who won't tackle or harass her. She is relaxed and happy hanging out here and is eager to head through the door in the mornings. The team here does a great job of keeping dogs engaged with just the right kind of company for them: young, rowdy dogs get to tear around the yard and bodyslam each other all day long until they go home filthy, exhausted, and happy; meanwhile low-key, chill dogs get to nap in the shade and cuddle with the staff.

My girlfriend's Laberdoodle on the other hand is a lot more work. Mayra is known as the best Doodle groomer around and for a good reason. My girlfriend has taken her Laberdoodle to 8 or 10 different groomers and we have always been disappointed with the results. Mayra has a special touch especially when it comes to Doodles. Every time she takes her Laberdoodle there the dog comes home looking better than the last time. She groomes her Laberdoodle the way that breed is supposed to look. She is amazing. Our dogs love to go for a ride in the truck. Every time the see that they are going to the Barking Lot they get super excited. Mayra and the whole staff treat our dogs like they are their's. When we go to pick them up they don't want to leave. That shows us how much the love and care for our fur babies. Whenever we go on a vacation, we always board our babies there. They take such excellent care of our girls. They have made new friends and old each time. They have so much fun playing with the other dogs that we think they would rather live there sometimes. For just a parvo test, worm test[which they never bothered to call us to give us the results]. They just sent us home with some random worm medicine for worms and now a week later they are coming out of her on her bed in the house. This place has causes us a nightmare and worst of all we are worried sick they didnt give her the right medication because shes not getting better The vet that treated her was Sheila Connelly and is was very clear she could care less.
