Well I left my boxer over Christmas and picked this place because of a camera in the kennel. My boyfriend was watching Delilah on camera and said something is wrong with her backside. I only went to Savannah, GA and drove as fast as I could to the kennel. Sign said no pickup until after 3pm. I'm there - they wouldn't let me go back to see her when they brought her out I noticed something was not right with her backside. I asked what happened to her? The girl looks at me and says I have no idea she goes but you did sign off on liability. At this time, I just wanna get Delilah home, but I wanted to come across the counter and ring her neck I looked at her and I said I signed off on liability, not negligence. You have veterinarians right next-door. Something happened to her and she should've been seen. After going to an emergency veterinarian in downtown Chattanooga $8000 later, my dog who just turned four in 2025 is handicapped. She has damage to her back vertebrae's and her anal sphincter. So in other words when she has to go poop, her little nub will go straight up in the air, I have to run to get her outside. She has no control. She also can't wag her nub anymore either I would never recommend this place and I have medical records to back up improve what I'm saying is the truth. I now have a dog that if I need to board her and I have found a boarding facility that I do love she has to wear a diaper. Biggest mistake I have ever made, and I have to live with this for the rest of my life. And unfortunately, so does Delilah. read more

The Inn at Wolftever is AMAZING. I am THAT dog mom, they are my babies and I would do anything for them. That being said one of my boys does not do well with a pet sitter at home so I had to find a place for them when I move to Tennessee. I liked everywhere, read all the reviews and could not seem to find the right place. Two of my coworkers told me about Wolftever and I will always be so thankful to them. The staff is so kind and caring and not judgmental of the fact that my boys are a bit needed and can sometimes be dog reactive (both were attacked my dogs in the past before I had them). They have cameras in the rooms with them and anytime I check the room is clean, my boys are happy and many times I see the staff in the room living in my boys. Compassionate treatment for my dog at the end of his life. Great care for my dogs through health and illnesses. They give me more information about how to take care of my pets than my previous vets did. They've explained and treated problems that my previous vets didn't notice or inform me of. For example, my dog had cataracts & this vet noticed & explained. Got the medical records from previous vet & noticed they'd documented cataracts years before & never told me. My dog was showing signs of blindness for 2 years under the previous vet & he knew but didn't mention it to me??? That won't happen here. read more

We needed a new veg after we moved and chose Wolftever after researching different vets in the area. They were very nice and very professional!!! I feel like they actually care about my pets and their service and not just looking for ways to make money. It's a bonus that it's so close to our house as well! We also take our pooches next door to be groomed and love the service there as well! Highly recommend if you need veterinary care and grooming. She is an absolute angel and took many special requests I had concerning my senior Maltese who is blind and deaf and gets very scared and defensive while grooming. They have wonderful indoor/outdoor rooms available for my big American Bulldog/Mastiff baby! He can be difficult to walk so this is the only place we board! I've been using Wolftever Pet Hospital for my three dogs and cat for almost three years. I've seen Dr. Robertson, Dr. Winn and Dr. White. I've had a great experience with all three. They've taken such great care of our senior dog, Norman. About two years ago he fell extremely ill on the same day of my Grandmothers passing, so we had to leave for the funeral in NY. Wolftever took him in and nursed him back to health while we were gone. Unfortunately, we had to put him down recently and they couldn't have handled the situation better. They even sent a condolence card. We've also used their daycare and boarding. The girls at the daycare are super friendly and would take great care of our pets while we were there. The only downside is that is it more expensive to board here and playtime/daycare is not included like other local places. I would definitely recommend bringing your pet here! read more

They are great, the vets make my doggie feel very relaxed around them he had a lump on his side that other places had named a tumor turned out it was an abcess and they drained it after two years of him having it the lump is gone. The daycare is awesome we take Logan for doggie day play he has a blast all the caregivers are great. We have left him boarding 3 times for trips we have made and each time we feel comfortable that he is gonna be happy, the first time was hard because we hadnt left him here before but he was fine he ate well and played and the best thing you can watch from doggie cams to see what they are doing i definitely recommend this place for your pets . read more

We've tried several places for boarding but the Inn at Wolftever is the only place we take our dogs now! We love that we can watch them on the webcam while we're away, even when they are outside. I really appreciate that they change the air out every 20 minutes. Our dogs used to come home from boarding elsewhere and smell SO bad and they seemed so depressed, but not at Wolftever. Each room has a flat screen tv, a comfy bed, fresh flowing water, and they can bring their own bed and toys. We won't leave our fur babies anywhere else now! This really is a good service. We've boarded our dog here several times. They get their own rooms and can have access to their own little space outside. Our dog has it's own bed and we've signed up for frisbee time and walks everyday. The last trip we took we called once we saw that she didn't have her toys in her room and they immediately went and gave them to her (this is because each room has a video camera you can watch you dog on!) That's a pretty cool service and we find ourselves watching quite often when we go on vacation. I recommend this place for sure read more

have two kittens, one of them has always had mushy stool and black discharge from his eyes and nose. I took him to his previous vet twice. I was told that both problems would go away once he built up his immunities and that his stool sample was negative for any parasites/ worms etc. His diarrhea got worse, we went through these issues for months... his diarrhea got worse. I called his vets office which is highly recommended in our city. I asked if they could see him that his diarrhea is worse and I began to really worry about him becoming dehydrated. I was told that they were booked up and I could not bring him in, she then gave me a number to a animal ER/ urgent care. I decided to look online for another vets office and found Wolftever- East Hamilton location. I called their office and explained my kittens problems and was given an appointment that day two hours after I called them. My kitten has never been to this office and was basically a new patient with problems. I was greeted with kindness from the front office to the back office. Their veterinarian gave him an antibiotic shot for his eye and nose discharge which could have been an upper respiratory infection. She then gave me some medication to take home to give him for his diarrhea. She sent off his stool sample for testing. I was called the next business day with his stool sample results. He had a parasite that I am sure he has had all this time, missed diagnosed at his previous vets office. They asked me to stop by and pick up some medication to treat the parasite. I explained that I have a female kitten a month younger and although she has no symptoms should she be treated with the medication too, their answer was yes. I was asked to bring her by for a weight check if I didn't have her current weight so that they could weigh her and give her the medication too. Mind you she has never been seen there, she is not a patient there and they were willing to do the weight check to get her the medication. It's been a week and my male kitten has improved so much with the medication. It's unbelievable to me that he could have improved months ago if he was properly diagnosed at his previous vets office. I am so thankful for the staff and doctor at Wolftever animal hospital for seeing my baby on the same day that I called, for properly diagnosing him and for the attention and treatment they gave both of my kittens. I also noticed on their website, if your pet has an emergency that they will see the pet, same day... meaning they wouldn't tell you no they are booked up and give you a phone number to a veterinarian ER. So my business is with Wolftever now. Anyone who has an animal wants their baby to receive the best care possible and if they call with a real concern that can't wait they expect their veterinarian office to show concern and attention and want to give the best care and advice possible. I am so thankful to everyone there at Wolftever @ East Hamilton , no words could express my thanks to them . My baby is improving and I could not ask for anything more. read more

Our dog was bit here during a boarding stay, and we feel the management and staff responded very poorly. We were not called to be notified and given options for her wound care. Instead, we were given the news upon arrival. It also appeared that our dog's blood was left on her head, neck, and chest until we arrived for boarding pick up. When we asked questions about if her wound was cleaned and treated with antibiotics, the staff member responded with, "I don't know," and did not offer to retrieve that information for us. We then asked that she be seen by the vet next door and that the blood be rinsed off. They obliged. The vet said we would need to give her antibiotics for the next two weeks, and of course, we had to pay for it. Though we understand bites may happen, we believe it fair to expect communication; timely and proper wound treatment; and for staff to be knowledgeable about what happened to our dog's care. We also were not returned all our dogs' belongings and had to keep asking the staff member to retrieve items. Even still, we were given the wrong bowls. As scared and frustrated as we were, we cut our losses and left without all of our personal belongings. Otherwise, we had a positive experience with the cleanliness of the facility and the ability to watch our dogs on webcam. The price is fair, but not worth the risk of my dog not being properly cared for. read more

Great accommodations, reasonable rates, good hours, exceptional people. My only fear with them is always when we get back into town our dog may not want to leave! We've used at least 5 other boarding facilities in the Chat area and these folks are the best. FYI- they're the only kennel in town with a pool so if you have a swimmer it's the place to go. read more

My dog has been going to this place since around 2005. I have had my dog treated, groomed as well as board for many years and never had a problem however this past December of 2016 it was a horrific experience. I dropped my dog off to be groomed as i normally do and was told that he would be ready around 5. I was at home and looked at the clock and it was about 5 after 5 and I realized I had not heard anything. So, as I headed over to pick him up. I received a call around 5:15 stating that my dog was still there and they close at 5:30. I told them I am so sorry I was waiting on a phone call I'm in route now I live in East Brainerd so I should be there in about 20 minutes. I got there and I was treated so rude and ugly by someone who claimed to be the assistant manager. My grooming cost was 50.00 and they charged me another 50.00 for being less than 10 minutes late. This young lady would not even be reasonable although I had been a customer for over 10 years. I asked her to show me where I signed an agreement about that and there was none nor was there a sign posted anywhere stating a $50.00 late charge. I asked for the manager she told me no this person was out of town. I asked her to call the owner she said no she was not going to do that. I told her I was not prepared to pay an extra $50.00 and she said then we will just hold your dog until you can. They were actually going to hold my dog and not give him to me. I was livid by that time. I had just spent over $300.00 back in October of 2016 but I guess that meant nothing to her. I told her I would never bring my dog back and I will let others know of the horrible treatment I received. She told me she did not care they have plenty of customers and they don't need my money. I wonder if the owner of this company has that same concept. I would not recommend anyone to this facility. Apparently they have hidden fees you don't know about and I even asked her to show me in writing where it shows this additional charge. She said that was just the rules and she did not have to show me anything. Worst experience ever never again will I patronize this business. We utilized the boarding facility. If you have the money to dish out for their services, then you're in good hands. There are cameras that you can view at any time so you can see how your dog is doing. If you're like me, this could be a bad thing... I spent much of my vacation glued to the laptop so I could watch my dog! There is excellent staff, excellent service, and awesome accommodations. The only thing I didn't like was that when I viewed the camera at times, I would see two food bowls in the kennel. I had asked that the two dogs I left be fed separately because the miniature pinscher will eat much more and much more quickly than the Yorkie. They assured me that they weren't fed together, and that no food was left in the enclosure. They said that the food bowl would have been left in there while they were cleaning or whatnot. I'm still not sure about this, but if only one or two food times were messed up, then I really don't have much to complain about, anyway. read more

Our dog was boarded at the Inn at Wolftever for a few days while we were out of town. A few days after we picked her up, she got kennel cough. We ended up bringing her to the vet next door (who is the vet we have used for all our dogs) for treatment. $430 for the vet bill and $150 for the kennel bill, I think Wolftever made out very well. Our dog was up to date on all her vaccinations, including kennel cough, from the vet adjacent to the kennel. When I called to complain, I was pretty much blown off by the manager. I asked to speak to the owner, who was supposed to call me back. The next day he called my husband, not me. If I call to complain, I expect a call back. I do not expect them to call my husband. The owner explained that they have a huge number of dogs going through their doggie day care and overnight stay so there is always the possibility of one of the dogs having kennel cough or being sick. Lesson learned. If they have such a high turnover of dogs at that place, I don't want my dog to go there and risk getting sick. I will look for a dog sitter to come to our house. We will never go back to the Inn at Wolftever. read more

We have been taking our pets to Wolftever Inn (and Hospital) ever since we moved to this area because we loved to be able to watch our dogs on the internet while we were away even though they have very high rates in comparison to others in the area. Unfortunately, I have since learned all they care about is money. The last time we were in, they surprised us saying that they would have to give one of our dogs a bunch of shots. The Inn is "separate" from the hospital, but the secretary at the Inn told us our 7 year old dog (that had been there multiple times) would have to go through the 3 shot DHPP vaccine, Rabies, and Kennel Cough. When we asked if she just needed a yearly booster for the DHPP, she said she didn't know what that was. When we asked if the last Rabies shot was a 1, 2, or 3 year, they didn't know. Our other dogs all had their Kennel Cough done at the same time but they apparently didn't need one. They also ended up charging us for a vet visit for each dog even though all they did was give them a shot at the Inn! The more questions we asked, the ruder the secretary became. If you want your loved ones to be cared for, this isn't the place. read more
