The staff here is so friendly and my dog always walks in like she owns the place, not afraid of the groomer at all! When we first started bringing her I was concerned she would be hungry if she was there all day. The staff said the dogs don't usually eat because there's so much going on and new doggy friends to smell but they let me try anyway to ease my mind. (She didn't eat. ) Recently my girl was sprayed by a skunk. Ben explained over the phone what to do to help her at home until I could bring her in. They returned my dog to me skunk-smell-free and happy. I have also brought my cat in to have her glands expressed and Lisa recommended a new food. We switched and my cat's energy level skyrocketed, she started jumping on high surfaces again, and no more gland issues! She acts like a kitten again. Love this place! I wish I had listened to the previous reviews. There are serious issues with how this grooming business is run, starting with their outdated scheduling system. Everything--from appointments to pet details--is handwritten, which looks unprofessional and feels disorganized. It's clear they're in desperate need of a digital overhaul. But worse than the disorganization was the experience my dog (and I) had during our visit. Here's what happened: * 9:00 AM: I dropped off my dog for her scheduled grooming appointment. I was told I'd receive a call when she was ready. * 12:34 PM: I hadn't heard anything, so I called to check in and confirm they had my correct number (given their handwritten system). I was told they were fully booked and that someone would call me--but no update was given on where she was in the process, or if she had even been started. * 2:30-2:45 PM: After talking to friends and confirming that waiting over 5 hours with no updates was unreasonable, I decided to go get my dog. * Around 2:50 PM: I arrived--not because I was called, but because my dog had now been there nearly SIX hours. When I asked for her, I was told she wasn't ready and that I needed to pay before they would release her. * I requested a discount, as I had just been told she was only partially groomed. The staff said they couldn't approve that. * 2:55 PM: I paid the full grooming fee of $51.50 for incomplete service just to get my dog back. She now has to be taken to another groomer to finish the job, particularly her face and possibly other areas that were left undone. This experience left me deeply concerned--not just as a customer, but as a pet owner. Grooming can be stressful for pets, and leaving a small dog kenneled for six hours without a potty break is unacceptable. There was no communication, no apology, and no accommodation for the delay or incomplete service. This raises several serious questions: * Why are they booking more appointments than they can reasonably handle? * Why charge full price for only partial service? * Why keep dogs kenneled for hours on end when proper scheduling and staffing could prevent that? Let me start with: I've been going here for years ... I had a sick baby in the car & asked if my dog had been walked (I was on my way to get a child from school & tight on time but determined to make it work). Knowing I've spent countless visits to this shop, I thought it would be no issue, right? Wrong. I was informed by the owner that "they don't walk dogs, they groom dogs." Well then. That's disheartening considering my dog was there for 7+ hours. Something to consider. Sharing my experience and will keep it there. I was shocked. Only getting around to writing it because my dog is due for a grooming. . Dogs deserve a potty break. We won't be back. And moving forward I will not bring my dogs to any facility that treats them like a money making machine and not a precious animal who may need a potty break! read more

Took my puppy in for his very first grooming today and was afraid it would be a disaster bc he was super excited!! They managed to get him calm and give him the very best hair cut! My puppy does not like his face or his ears to be trimmed, they did an excellent job! Pets r us grooming came to me as a referral when I was asking some friends with small dogs where to go, this is my first small dog and I recommend them with five stars for anyone with any dog or cat!!! One star is too much for this place. Everytime I've gotten a fish from here it doesn't even make it 24hours and I've had fish for years. Plus they have dead fish just floating in the tanks chilling. This place sucks and they are very rude/not helpful. read more
