Hate to share this, but we feel we need to. Had a very bad experience with our Standard Poodle Taffy . The owner was not in the day we took our Taffy in for her 6 week groom.. Apparently they had used an un-sharp razor on her. When we got home the groomer had shaved her tail so close on the underside it was sore and bleeding from one end to the other. Her cut was blotchy all over which in the two years we used their service. The owner had told us on many cases how the like to cut our Poodles. because they were so good on the table. We called several times to reach the owner, sent e-mails with pictures, and never got a return call from the owner, even though her staff said she would be calling back after we had left multiple messages. In the e-mail we advised that we were unhappy and to please not cash our check until we came to some type if agreement. Guess what! The check was cashed and we never got a call from the owner. Sad part about it we were very happy with their service for two years...we live in Canton and drove almost 90 minutes each time we brought our two girls to the groomer. We plan to take legal action to recover the $85.00, which we think they stole. BEWARE IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE AS THE OWNER IS NOT AN HONORABLE PERSON. Like read more

Love the ladies at Abba Dabba Dawg. Our Chihuahua, Stoner, hates getting his nails trimmed. Everywhere else we had taken him was not a good experience for any of us. I can bring Stoner here and they treat him with kindness and it shows in how he reacts. He's much calmer. We will always come here. Update- June, 2019. Awesome, awesome, awesome. We love this place. We will never take our dog, Stoner, anywhere else. read more

I have taken my dog here every 6 to 8 weeks for 4 years. Debbie the owner, Cammy the groomer, and the entire team shower my Monster with love. I drive 30 minutes, passing several other groomers, to get to Abba Dabba Dawg and I have no thought of going elsewhere. Caring/professional staff, grooming done beautifully per changing specs and a fair price make this THE place to go in Pickens County. read more

Absolutely horrible! Took my Yorkie in at 930am and she was left there till 5pm and that was after me walking in to get her personally, after not receiving a phone call for 8 hours! She came out completely bald! Didn't even recognize her! And if that wasn't bad enough, when I walked in to get her the lady was mopping the floor and made the comment "I knew as soon as I started this, yall would walk in." There was no reason she should have stayed even when they were cleaning up the place! You wait till customers leave! What a disgrace! I will never ever use this Groomers again! My baby was so hungry and thirsty when she came home and completely exhausted! I do not recommend this place to anyone! I even drove a county away thinking I would get high expectations. I was wrong! read more

Is there a rank for 0 stars? I brought my dog here for the first time and after being there for 7 hours the owner Debbie said they couldn't finish grooming my dog until past 3 when they closed. I had another appointment at 3 and asked to pick my dog up at 4. She said she would charge me a late pick up fee even though her groomers were the ones that were late! I said no to the fee and picked my dog up early and when I came in she charged me $26 for a wash and wouldn't let my dog out until I paid. Debbie was extremely rude and called me a BITCH to my face in front of her employees who were laughing at me. I felt very threatened and scared for the safety of myself and dog. If she acts this volatile and unprofessional to people, I can't imagine how she treats dogs. The world is crazy today and I felt she had a very evil streak in her for no apparent reason. I urge you for the safety of your animals, please do not bring them here. read more

Debbie not only takes GREAT care of your dog, she is good natured, will take the time with huge baby pups and is always consistent and reliable. I was a dog groomer for 18 years and I can tell you from experience that she is the BEST! read more

WARNING: If you boarded your fur baby during the dates of June 9, 2022-June 12, 2022, please know…read moreyour dog has been exposed to KENNEL COUGH. As 2 of my 3 caught it at the facility. Please keep an eye on your fur babies and if they start coughing or have diarrhea, take them to the vet to get them checked! I picked up my 3 dogs yesterday and 2 of them have KENNEL COUGH!!! To say I'm upset is an understatement. I was in contact with the lady that runs the facility. She told me yesterday morning that my dog, Togo had a one short 2 cough spell but that it wasn't hindering him. I became concerned at that point. I know I am not a vet BUT I am a groomer and I have worked at a vets office before, so I do know some things. I picked the dogs up and the coughing got worse! Well to top things off my dog, Spirit started coughing. The owner wanted me to keep her informed, so I did let her know that Spirit started coughing. Then to top that off, I had to groom ALL 3 of my dogs when I got home. Now I know they are going to stink or be dirty when staying at a boarding facility BUT when my dog, Monty had dried dog poop all over his belly, that is unacceptable! They were absolutely filthy and smelled so bad! When this was mentioned to the owner (I have the messages,) all she had to say was, I'm sure that is from when Spirit had loose stool in the run. Um.....did you not clean the run? And why would not rinse off my dog? I'm not asking for a full blown bath but you could at least rinse him off! I also would like for y'all to know that even though I was notified about the one short 2 cough spell, when I picked up, my dogs where still in the same run. They had not be quarantined from other dogs in the same area as they were. I sure hope those who had dogs staying there were notified that their dogs had been exposed to not one but two dogs with kennel cough, as this is HIGHLY contagious. I even said that to the owner. I have all the messages. I want to also say that she seems to be so nonchalant about it. She has not even offered to pay for the vet bill and still charged me for boarding. Well with the timeline the way that is of when the coughing started, one of two things happened: 1. There was already a dog there with kennel cough and they failed to quarantine, notify incoming boarders and failed to properly clean/sanitize. 2. There HAD been a dog there with kennel cough and they failed to properly clean/sanitize. Either way my dogs are now very sick and refuse to eat and drink water and they did catch this virus at the boarding facility! Please DO NOT EVER USE THIS BOARDING FACILITY. I will be making sure to ask any future boarding facilities for their general cleaning procedures, to make sure this doesn't happen in the future. **Anyone is more than welcome to contact me and I am more than happy to send videos, pictures, etc.**

Our dog had just recently received a clean bill of health from his veterinarian. The owner did offer a refund, but we declined. We weren't looking for money--we wanted honesty and accountability. Accidents can happen, but they should be disclosed. Had they simply informed us when we picked him up and apologized, we would have respected their professionalism. Well I was scammed by this office with a bait and switch! The quote Cassie gave me to put max down was out the door and Dr Scott refused to honor it! He stood arguing with me there while my dog was in the other room and I was a mess having the weight of putting down my best friend! I am sick to my stomach that I brought my baby here to this greedy Vet who could care less about Max or myself! I paid this office but just know Iwill be on the news about this! I had been going to Abba Dabba for a long time with our 3 dogs and have loved them up until new ownership. We are sad that we will no longer be going there, this is the only place my pups have known but we were super disappointed with the last experience. The new owner was so super rude when I called questioning why our dog wasn't ready yet, because I was told a certain time and it was well past that time. I understand completely we can't always stay on time but it was so unprofessional how she handled that call. She didn't seem to care that I was upset and when I told her I would make sure and review them, she wasn't concerned. She said she will get a hundred good to one bad. read more
