We explained to Lisa about his past and even explained that we had been asked to not bring him back by other groomers due to his aggression and how we like his hair to be cut and she agreed to do him. She spent way longer then she had to to make sure he was as relaxed as possible and did the best job we've seen yet. We are so excited that she will come to our house to take care of him. Her rates are very fair given the time she spends and the job she does. If you have a fur-baby that needs any type of service you have to give her a call!! When we first started bringing her I was concerned she would be hungry if she was there all day. The staff said the dogs don't usually eat because there's so much going on and new doggy friends to smell but they let me try anyway to ease my mind. (She didn't eat. ) Recently my girl was sprayed by a skunk. Ben explained over the phone what to do to help her at home until I could bring her in. They returned my dog to me skunk-smell-free and happy. I have also brought my cat in to have her glands expressed and Lisa recommended a new food. We switched and my cat's energy level skyrocketed, she started jumping on high surfaces again, and no more gland issues! She acts like a kitten again. Love this place! The staff is kind and knowledgeable and you can tell they love the animals if you stay a while and listen to them talk to the doggies as they groom.

They said both times that called- " the stitches will come out in 2 or 3 months!" I've heard of stitches that desolve, but these that are in my pugs ,for 2 months now are not the kind that desolve!!! I took one of my girls to another veterinary in Rome and he removed the stitches ,as usual he had nothing negative to say ,but he removed the stitches and kinda shook his head! I heard a water hose being used and when I got my dog she told me he just spilled water on himself because he was kinda wet and I thought nothing of it. I was notified by the doctor that bloodwork was good except, my dog was heartworm positive. I started her on high dose antibiotics the next day per heartworm protocol and another $230 plus. I decided to take her to our vet in Woodstock based on comfort level and history. That vet did 2 in house tests and sent to the lab. All three were heartworm negative!!! I left a message for the doctor or office manager to call me to discuss. As there is concern that my dog and another dog's labs must have been mixed up. Candice called me and did not want to hear they could have made a mistake and wanted to blame the lab they sent it to. I stated that they are the ones that sent it there and someone needed to take accountability. I have been a complete basketcase for a week and my dog has been on high dose antibiotics for no reason. She stated the office manager was back Monday and she didn't know what to do. I just stated again, I am worried that there is another dog with heartworms and they don't know. She got very hostile and again said that would be the labs fault. When I said I was just trying to explain the situation she said "this conversation is over" and hung up. I hope to hear something positive from them Monday. However, it seems they clearly make mistakes and don't want to rectify them. Stay away or get second opinions!! I will also be disputing the bloodwork and antibiotic charges with my credit card company.

This can obviously stress out the cats. Also, when I drop my cat off they leave her on the ground right in the waiting area. One time I asked how my cat did and the owner said she was a b**ch. I mean, stuff like that you don't say to your customers and that's very unprofessional. Even if my cat was mean, it could have been said in a different way. Also, when I said I felt uneasy, it's because I felt like thy were mean to my cat. Anyways, I am sooo very happy and relieved to not go back to this place anymore. (I wasn't going to anyway.) I found an actual vet place that is award winning and offers cat grooming services. They charge more but it's worth every penny to have peace of mind for me and my fur baby.
