We explained to Lisa about his past and even explained that we had been asked to not bring him back by other groomers due to his aggression and how we like his hair to be cut and she agreed to do him. She spent way longer then she had to to make sure he was as relaxed as possible and did the best job we've seen yet. We are so excited that she will come to our house to take care of him. Her rates are very fair given the time she spends and the job she does. If you have a fur-baby that needs any type of service you have to give her a call!! We love her and she is our last groomer ever.

I wish I had listened to the previous reviews…read more There are serious issues with how this grooming business is run, starting with their outdated scheduling system. Everything--from appointments to pet details--is handwritten, which looks unprofessional and feels disorganized. It's clear they're in desperate need of a digital overhaul. But worse than the disorganization was the experience my dog (and I) had during our visit. Here's what happened: * 9:00 AM: I dropped off my dog for her scheduled grooming appointment. I was told I'd receive a call when she was ready. * 12:34 PM: I hadn't heard anything, so I called to check in and confirm they had my correct number (given their handwritten system). I was told they were fully booked and that someone would call me--but no update was given on where she was in the process, or if she had even been started. * 2:30-2:45 PM: After talking to friends and confirming that waiting over 5 hours with no updates was unreasonable, I decided to go get my dog. * Around 2:50 PM: I arrived--not because I was called, but because my dog had now been there nearly SIX hours. When I asked for her, I was told she wasn't ready and that I needed to pay before they would release her. * I requested a discount, as I had just been told she was only partially groomed. The staff said they couldn't approve that. * 2:55 PM: I paid the full grooming fee of $51.50 for incomplete service just to get my dog back. She now has to be taken to another groomer to finish the job, particularly her face and possibly other areas that were left undone. This experience left me deeply concerned--not just as a customer, but as a pet owner. Grooming can be stressful for pets, and leaving a small dog kenneled for six hours without a potty break is unacceptable. There was no communication, no apology, and no accommodation for the delay or incomplete service. This raises several serious questions: * Why are they booking more appointments than they can reasonably handle? * Why charge full price for only partial service? * Why keep dogs kenneled for hours on end when proper scheduling and staffing could prevent that? My dog--and all dogs--deserve better care than this. 0/10. I do not recommend. Response to owners response: Her response tells me exactly what I needed to know about doing business here. He could have said no sorry, but I do apologize for the wait or offer at least a 10% discount, and I would have been happy with that. This is bad business in MY personal opinion making customers happy and having referrals and wanting people to return would be a business owners' goal, but I guess he does not care. We loved the in home training. We wanted to be hands on every week with our boy Brock. The tools they gave us have helped tremendously. They also saw we needed some extra help because our boy is high energy and had some behavior issues so they gave that to us. Not only did we work in our home but also took trips to parks and Lowe's to work on behavior. We recently joined in our first pack walk, which is included upon graduation. We were so proud of our "Brock". Several months ago we wouldn't have been able to do this. We still train everyday to keep up his lessons. A very special thank you to Morgan who was our one on one trainer every week. She was so knowledgeable and fantastic, as were Alyssa, Olivia and Kaylee who have also helped. I was notified by the doctor that bloodwork was good except, my dog was heartworm positive. I started her on high dose antibiotics the next day per heartworm protocol and another $230 plus. I decided to take her to our vet in Woodstock based on comfort level and history. That vet did 2 in house tests and sent to the lab. All three were heartworm negative!!! I left a message for the doctor or office manager to call me to discuss. As there is concern that my dog and another dog's labs must have been mixed up. Candice called me and did not want to hear they could have made a mistake and wanted to blame the lab they sent it to. I stated that they are the ones that sent it there and someone needed to take accountability. I have been a complete basketcase for a week and my dog has been on high dose antibiotics for no reason. She stated the office manager was back Monday and she didn't know what to do. I just stated again, I am worried that there is another dog with heartworms and they don't know. She got very hostile and again said that would be the labs fault. When I said I was just trying to explain the situation she said "this conversation is over" and hung up. I hope to hear something positive from them Monday. However, it seems they clearly make mistakes and don't want to rectify them. Stay away or get second opinions!! I will also be disputing the bloodwork and antibiotic charges with my credit card company.

This can obviously stress out the cats. Also, when I drop my cat off they leave her on the ground right in the waiting area. One time I asked how my cat did and the owner said she was a b**ch. I mean, stuff like that you don't say to your customers and that's very unprofessional. Even if my cat was mean, it could have been said in a different way. Also, when I said I felt uneasy, it's because I felt like thy were mean to my cat. Anyways, I am sooo very happy and relieved to not go back to this place anymore. (I wasn't going to anyway.) I found an actual vet place that is award winning and offers cat grooming services. They charge more but it's worth every penny to have peace of mind for me and my fur baby.
