I visited a week before and really liked what I saw, met the staff and was told about the schedule. I booked the Presidential suite where all four could stay together, sleep together and play together as they do at home. I called daily to check up on and was given updates, even improvements on my skittish girl. I felt very at ease leaving them and enjoyed my vacation. What a wonderful staff who cares and enjoyed having my dogs stay. I will be returning.

I was told that my dog WOULD NOT be allowed in "group play" being that he is over 7 months and not neutered. I took him to the vet to get the vaccinations required to be at daycare. At first I was happy to hear that an accommodation could be made for my dog to interact with humans and get out for some potty breaks. I only needed 3 hours to take an exam. I brought in his breakfast and came back 3 hours later to get my dog. When I walked in his food was still out in the lobby.... The employee or owner (unsure) who greeted me asked who I was there to pick up. I told her my dog's name and she said "wow he hasn't been here very long. I haven't gotten a chance to meet him yet." I thought that was bizarre... then what was he doing? 2 days later I received his "report card" which included the photo I posted below. My dog was in fact in group play. Not only could he have gotten another dog pregnant... he came home with kennel cough. Another vet bill later he is okay.... But still. What on earth are they doing in there? How many other "accommodations" are they making that aren't kept?? Maybe another dog didn't need to get a bordetella vaccination and that's how mine came home with it? I don't know but a 30$ stay for 3 hours (including the price to just make an account) plus over $300 in vet bills later. I'm not happy and would never recommend this facility to someone. I truly hope no one came home with puppies because I know that is a lot more than $300. PSA if your dog stayed here on July 14, 2025 they may also have kennel cough or be pregnant.

Jen and her staff were able to accommodate his needs and Jen kept me up-to-date on his status while I was out of town. Just found Southern Pro Kennel and had the opportunity to use their dog boarding services. My 10…read moremonth old, 60lb, puppy Bolt stayed with them for 9 nights while the family was traveling. We are doing the month long training program in July so I had spoken with them and was familiar with Parker and Haley. They were not annoyed by any of my questions and Parker was very helpful in correcting some troublesome behaviors before we had Bolt stay with them. She came back leaner and with a shinier coat than when we dropped her off. I'll be posting another update once we do the month long board and train program, but I can say they are very affordable. While $1500 is no small fee, most other board and train programs are that or more for only 2 weeks!! Bolt is a Great Pyrennes mix so she has quite the independent streak but we'll see what magic Parker and Haley can work in July. I cannot say enough about Southern Pro Kennel. Their location is convenient to downtown but far enough out that they have a large amount of land to work with the dogs on. Look for my updated review and if you need dog training/boarding look at Southern Pro Kennel.

His groomer does a fantastic job with grooming him and SPOILS him rotten. My sweet baby gets anxious when going to get groomed and she recommended a medicine that helps to keep him calm where he can be groomed safely. Overall, I am pleased with the care that he has received since his first groom in June and we will continue to come and get groomed here.
