I needed to get a bouquet for a friend who recently got engaged, so I called Petite Petal and asked for a custom "medium-sized" bouquet. Originally I wanted to get tulips since that's my friend's favorite flower, but they didn't have any that day. The girl said they had mainly whites and pinks and they could put something together. I stopped by a few hours later to pick up the bouquet, and it was absolutely gorgeous! It was also HUGE and reasonably priced, considering how many flowers they included in the arrangement. I wandered in here and met the nicest gal-- Jess.. I wasn't even planning on buying a bouquet but after seeing all the pretty peonies and roses, I couldn't resist. And who couldn't use more flowers in their life? Especially if you give them to a good friend "just because." My usual indecisive self needed to be guided and Jess was great. She helped me pick out flowers and asked me what my budget was ($30) and created a beautiful bouquet. I emailed her around Mother's Day asking for out of season flowers for a sentimental gift and also sent her photos of a plant a friend had purchased from her. Both classes were fun but the ornament class was really cool! She walked us through various types of knots and we made three different types of ornaments. Such a cute, well-curated little shop along the main stretch in Campbell! Before a few weekends ago I had never visited because I feel like I was only ever in the area when they were closed, but I finally had a chance to stop by during the Sunday farmer's market and was super excited to find they sold craspedia by the stem. It's been tough to find, so when the gal behind the counter told me they shop for their flowers on Monday and they could place a special order for fresh stems, I jumped at the chance. Because I would inevitably miss their open hours during the week, I returned for my order this past Saturday and they were already drying them for me! The stems were nice and long so I could cut them to my liking, and the color remains vibrant; a great pop of yellow. Some of their greenery is a little spendy but I will undoubtedly return for their customer service and selection of harder-to-find items. In addition to the plants, gift knick knacks, etc. they sell and, of course, the wedding services they provide, they also have a nice little offering of vessels (both new AND vintage) that are sure to inspire ideas for a new display in your home. Karen is the best!! I'm going to be honest, I don't know much about flowers except for they are beautiful and bring a really nice, romantic touch to weddings. I knew I wanted white and light pink flowers with green foliage. I also bought these mini terrariums with rings to hold small signs. I was SOO determined to put little succulents inside and use them as my table numbers and let the guests take them home as giveaways, along with the centerpieces. Before we found Karen and Petite Petal, I felt like all our other floral appointments were boring. They were so bland, no personality and felt like they were just trying to sell us on what's "in", making us stick to a "theme" and give us the same boring stuff they were giving to all the other weddings they do. Great if you have a theme.. but we didn't have one. When I would ask other vendors if they would incorporate my tiny table number succulents, they would tell me succulents are "desert theme" and that I should just stick with "boho". ???!whaat!?!?? I don't even know what that means?? Karen totally loved the idea of my tiny succulents!! I provided the containers and she priced me for the succulent and labor =) After sending her my pinterest, she made me realize that I loved Dahliahs haha. She really took my (I should really start saying WE lol) dreams and made them into reality. I was really nervous about finding a Florist. And we definitely struggled finding one.. but now you don't have to =) Relax and fill out the wedding form on their website!! It's a lot of detail, but it definitely helps them navigate through your style and expectations. Overall Karen and her staff are amazing. Great to work with. The shop is also very cute and filled, not only with flowers, but with succulents!! They also offer classes for calligraphy, flower arrangements, succulent arrangements, and so much more! We requested a last minute team building event here for the Holiday Terrarium workshop. Karen responded quickly and was very nice to organize the event with. We had a team of 16 ppl and they all had a wonderful time assembling their terrariums. Karen taught the class and gave helpful tips on how to maintain the plants as well, which is great for those without green thumbs! Overall we had a great time with a beautiful creation to take back to our desks at home & work. We hired Petite Petal for our mid September wedding in San Francisco. As we all know, planing a wedding is very stressful and hiring vendors is aggravating. I was not one of those brides that had a book that had ideas or cutouts of her ideal wedding. So, picking out even the theme was taxing. Their little shop is cute, tucked away in downtown Campbell. They provide a variety of classes, which I have yet to explore. Petite Peal was recommended by a friend's friend and I did not regret it. I was paired with Jill who helped me blossom into a dreamless bride, into a bridezilla. Ok, joking aside, she was very helpful! She was not pushy and listened very well to my confusing, somewhat theme-less ideas. She suggested very beautiful themes and was very knowledgeable. Since I live in San Francisco, Jill was able to meet up with me for a meeting closer to where I am. So grateful for that! My bouquet was exactly as I had pictured it! I was unsure if she was able to visualize what I had wanted, but she did not disappoint! I am a sucker for flowers and I loved everything that the team did! There was nothing over the top which is what I wanted and we did last minute changes that they were willing to accommodate. As you can see from reviews, quite a few people use them for weddings and special events. I stumbled across this shop as I was walking around downtown Campbell and the succulents outside caught my eye. I saw a board that had a list of events coming up, which piqued my interest. My friend and I walked inside to ask about the terrarium event. It was only $15 for registration -- you can bring your own vase/plant holder. You do have to pay for the plant and other items that might go into it. It sounds like a fun event and I'm definitely keeping my eye out on their website for future events. If I had my own place, I'd be here quite a bit looking at planters and decor items for the garden or in the home. They have a variety of succulents and wooden items for the home/garden.
