I sent a few arrangements to the care home staff who took care of my uncle before his death. Van did a beautiful job and her style and taste are beyond exquisite. If you want a high quality arrangement with premium fillers (let's face it- the fillers matter as much as the flowers), fresh flowers, and care- Urban Flora is the absolute best. read more

Urban Flora - Blushful Thinking - Florists Near Me - San Jose, California

For floral arrangements - I either make my own or outsource. This is my first choice florist in the Santa Clara County when gifting to my floral loving - closest and dearest friends (at least once in their lifetime). This is top tier gold; essentially the place one would think to gatekeep. My brother got my mom, a Mother's day bouquet and the quality was superb and different. Total gem. My brother might know the owners or something - can't recall. I believe he got her the -- Love You to the Moon Bouquet -- looking at the sample photo anyways. I've been purchasing their arrangements since 2022. Each friend who has received a birthday arrangement was in love/awe with their gift. --Timeless Bouquet-- (Perfect for someone is is classy, elegant, love neutrals, and beautiful things) In July 2022, Urban Flora texted me once the flowers were dropped off; I had the flowers dropped off outside as my friend was quarantining and was the point of main point of contact while keeping this a surprise. --Pink Sorbet Bouquet-- (Perfect for a lover of pink, someone with a vibrant personality, maybe someone into anime). In March 2025, Urban Flora will e-mail the purchaser that it has 'shipped' once it's about to be delivered and will e-mail the purchaser once delivered. It would also be my first choice for my man -- if only they delivered to his city which they do not -- might have to do a pick-up one of these days. I would not recommend Urban Flora for last minute custom for like a Condolence arrangement - I did reach out in 2023 but was not able to get a hold of them at the time. Otherwise whether you order the day prior (within a reasonable window frame - they can get the job done, orders prior to noon would be best for those situations -- and the more time you give in advance, the better the delivery experience and outcome. You definitely get what you pay for and 'the best bouquet' is the experience you are providing. read more

I placed and fully prepaid for a bouquet in advance. On the day of the order, I called several times and sent messages to confirm everything, but no one returned my calls or responded. At the end of the day, I was simply told, "Sorry, we are sold out." As a result, I wasted time, and more importantly, the person I wanted to surprise was left without flowers. Because of the lack of communication, I was left in uncertainty and couldn't implement an alternative plan in time. This level of communication and organization is unprofessional. Situations like this can seriously disrupt customers' plans. read more

I've been following Urban Flora for several years and finally reached out to have her flower our December 2023 wedding. It was rather tricky getting a hold of Van, but I was a persistent bride and have loved her work so I broke her no-DM rules to notify her that it didn't seem like my website requests were going through. She was super understanding and from there was responsive. Hopefully the website form is working now! A couple of things that I wish had been included in our pricing upfront: a centerpiece mockup and the centerpiece vases. It never hurts to have all of the related options clearly listed out in the proposal at the start and then negotiate/remove from there. Van's work is undoubtedly gorgeous and she really partnered with me in ideating our floral vision and bringing it to life. I'd travel to her all the way from Dublin for future floral occasions and know that I'm in great hands with someone who cares deeply about her artistry read more

BEAUTIFUL flowers. My hubby got me flowers from urban flora for my birthday this year and it was the best surprise! Walking to our front door and being greeted with the prettiest flower arrangement!! The colors, the choice of flowers, the textures, the vase, presentation, the freshness. Thoroughly delighted and impressed. My hubby got me another flower arrangement from here a month ago for my one year work anniversary. He's the best!! Again, the prettiest flowers I've ever received and will ever receive period. Highly recommend. It's not the cheapest but so worth it! read more

I ordered through their website for pickup. The address above is permanently closed. The pickup location in the email was Foothill High School not even a store location. I decided to splurge a little and get my girlfriend a bouquet for national girlfriends day from here. It was definitely pricy but the flowers were beautiful and my girlfriend loved it. I ordered a medium and it honestly came out larger than I expected. It was delivered exactly on time and they sent me a text when it was. In order to prevent the flowers from dying if they can't be put in a vase right away, all the stems are attached to a little water supply. They also provide flower food and instructions to make your flowers last as long as possible. I would definitely order again on special occasions! read more

Gorgeous! The recipient loved them :) Don't call or visit the website. Instead, go on the business' Instagram and order from there. This is floral artistry. Loved that she was so communicative when a flower I added on was not available and even sent me a picture and delivery confirmation via text, so much appreciated! I ordered a medium arrangement, and it came up significantly less sparse than the large. A $20 difference between the large and medium sizes does not mean that half of the flowers in the large size photo displayed online should be missing. also, it seems the flower types used were cheaper. where are all the roses? that being said, delivery was prompt and the arrangement was pretty but disappointing. update- owner refunded me 25% of my order read more

One of my girlfriend's birthday was coming up and I wanted to send another girlfriend a little THANK YOU/ Happy Early Mother's Day surprise. I've noticed Blissful Blooms on IG and wanted to give them a go. Placing the order online was quick and easy. Everything was straight forward and pretty fool proof. SCORE! Payment was made and I awaited for the bouquets to get delivered. The birthday set was delivered as directed and was beautifully arranged. The "Thank You/Mother's Day" did not go as smoothly. About a day and a half before this arrangement was to be sent out, it was brought to my attention that the address I provided was incorrect. Due to some home improvements, there wouldn't be anyone home to receive the delivery. I attempted to give BB a new address [located in the same area/zip code] and couldn't get any response. I went and emailed them directly on more than one occasion, I dm'd them on instagram, and I even gave the business a call & shot a few texts. Needless to say I was pretty bummed. Someone finally reached out to me and apologized adding it was extremely busy due to Mother's Day weekend. TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE. Whomever I spoke with verified the updated address and told me that the delivery would be made without any issues. Fast forward: on the day of the delivery I am given a call saying the delivery was made. I asked the gentleman to verify that it was sent to my second address provided and he had no clue about the changes. He said he would have to make a call to someone and would give me a call back. Again, the new address is within the same zip code so it really shouldn't have been a problem. Bouquet delivery was made but was delayed and sat longer in the heat than I would have wanted. 3.5 stars. You'll pay a pretty penny with BB and I just wished things went a whole lot smoother. read more

The flowers that I received were not as lavish or fresh as I thought it would be unfortunately. I really wanted to splurge for Mother's Day but was really let down with their service and product. They admitted that their quality during Mother's Day was not the best due to high volumes of orders...??? Businesses should always quality check their products especially on special days like these. I also contacted them twice to ensure my bouquet arrived on time. After the third time contacting them, they realized the delivery driver forgot my bouquet. My younger (and only) brother John highly recommended Blissful Blooms for all my future floral needs as he has used them in the past and I started following them on social media the last few months and have been looking for my next opportunity to test them! We received a short notice invite to my older sister in law's birthday dinner which was scheduled today and after going over hundreds of gallery photos posted on yelp as well as on their home site for a few days, I found a lush and elegant bouquet bundle that I knew my SIL would absolutely love on Friday! I placed an urgent order and sent in the bouquet picture of what I was looking for and asked my brother to help pick up for me since I was tied up with back to back events. I'm pretty picky with my preference in floral arrangements and wasn't able to do it myself. What he delivered for me was absolutely stunning and the fresh floral scent from the blooms were great! It was fairly close but more beautiful than what I sent in of what I wanted. I order a few floral bundles a year for several different events and have typically been using local florist for deliveries as well as the large florist companies like 800 flowers or pro flowers for out of area deliveries. While you may compare prices like I did between shops, BB comes in slightly higher but you really get what you pay for if not more. Don't settle for the others and compare! BB is premium flowers and what you receive will not be comparable! My sister loved her gift so much! She said she didn't want any presents and that she would just be happy with a bouquet of flowers! Blissful Blooms more than delivered! I can NOT imagine EVER going back to any other florist! Not even my wedding florist! If only Blissful Blooms existed a decade ago! LOL! Blissful Blooms is the perfect name for this company! Hand picked/packed Quality Blooms that are just Blissful! I'll be ordering from BB here on out! Looking forward to my next orders...and seeing the looks on the recipients faces when they are delivered will be worth capturing! Thank you BB! Keep up the great work! read more

I am OBSESSSED. It took me awhile to find a florist that has an eye for colors and modern designs. I do noticed there aren't many in the Bay Area. A small business that focus so much on the details and it honestly shows in their work. It definitely isn't bunch of greens and florals bunched up together. I'm surprised that their arrangement didn't use fillers to fill up spaces! It feels like hitting a floral jackpot! Especially for a flower lover like me. Ordering process is so easy and Van was beyond helpful. Their arrangements look lush, fresh, and high quality. I am extremely satisfied! For price comparison, I would splurge just a little more for their flowers. They also send pics so that you'll know what to expect. Flowers & service are spectacular. 11/10 would Highly recommend! read more

I so wanted to be impressed with them since the reviews were glowing and the pictures of arrangements were just beautiful. My sister gave birth and was in a lot of pain, so I ordered same day, a medium bouquet in a vase, specifying that her favorite colors were purple and peach. I thought it would make her feel better. My sister sends me a photo of the bouquet and it's like predominantly white with some peach and one strand of purple. And I am not even sure the flowers all looked fresh either, some looked smashed. I am just disappointed. I was going to order bouquets from Costco but decided to splurge. For $190, I am sure this just wasn't worth it at all. If you order, I'd call and reiterate what you like, maybe screen capture an arrangement you like and send it to them. read more

I would have to say that I am a pretty hectic customer when ordering flowers because I always gift them last minute and try to purchase the day of. I've also experienced horrible service with another company where they delivered the incorrect size and another that delivered on the wrong date . But not with Urban Flora. I found them on Yelp and wanted to purchase a last minute bouquet for a friends birthday. They provided simple instructions for the pick up order and asked me what time I was expecting it by. I didn't think I was going to get it in time for my friends event in the late afternoon so I was going to show up late. Surprisingly, they completed my order just in time ! I showed up and the florist kindly handed it to me. The flowers were soooo gorgeous! It was a perfect size for a small (that didn't look so small) bouquet with gorgeous flower assortment . I am still completely in awe of how beautiful my bouquet turned out for my wedding!! My partner and I (we've been together for 11 years) decided that we wanted to still get married despite what was going on and ended up pulling off an intimate, very safe, and social-distanced Filipiniana/earthy/tropical themed wedding. During the planning process of about two weeks to the big day, I was able to get in contact with Valerie. I was able to communicate my vision to her, it went so smoothly, and she was really awesome to work with. Communicating with Valerie was like talking to a homegirl and I really appreciate how personable it felt. As I was letting Valerie know about the vision of my bouquet and decoy bouquet (the decoy bouquet was going to be gifted to whoever was going to catch my actual fake bouquet during the bouquet toss) she then went on to let me know that the owner and florist, Vanessa, was excited to work with me because the design was different from her other bouquets. That got me more excited to work and collaborate with Blissful Blooms because of the freshness and energy that I was feeling from the process. Also, funny story. My best friend and MOH's name is Vanessa and her sisters name is Valerie. I thought what a coincidence, this was meant to be to work with Blissful Blooms! When it got to the big day, I couldn't believe how beautiful the bouquets turned out. Vanessa did amazing! And it was really my most favorite floral arrangements to date! I have attached a photo of what it looks like, however, I don't have a picture of my decoy just yet, but when I do, I'll be sure to update this review so you can see that one too! I just want to say thank you so much Vanessa and Valerie for elevating my wedding even more especially during this time! One last thing, I really appreciate how this is a small-owned business by Vanessa. Support small business especially ran by women! read more

[UPDATE] The Blissful blooms contacted me and proposed to send a new bouquet, in order to resolve the matter. I gladly accepted. The new bouquet that arrived is much more beautiful and fresh, the flowers are all full, intact, petals are hard and *nourished*. Colors are matching even more perfectly and are in synergy together, complementing each others shade. I uploaded photos of new bouquet and it is pretty much visible from the pictures that is very well put together and made with care. I can feel and see that attention was paid to flower selection. I thank Blissful blooms for reaching out so quickly and I appreciate that they value every single customer and their opinion! OLD REVIEW] I give two stars because I can see how the bouquet could have looked if it would have been fresh. It would have been extravagant. For 250$ I should not look at crushed, smooshed, beaten and withered flowers. I should not spend 1 hour on my Birthday day to try to save them and disassemble one by one, trying to unwrap from the sticky harsh tape, that was holding them and discard small broken flowers that got kaput. I should just put it in water and enjoy as it is at least for 2 days. For 250$. What I got looks like 3 days old bouquet that needs its water immediately changed. Please see photos I took right after I got the bouquet. I am a sad that I did not get to experience that special emotions on my Birthday - of getting a magnificent, lovely, fragrant and fresh bouquet... read more

Ah, the power of social media. I saw these beauties posted on one of my friends accounts on Instagram. She had the prettiest floral arrangement and tagged them to the "Blissful Blooms" IG page. When I checked them out, I was like a kid in a candy store only I was looking at flowers. I wanted them all. Well, I had the next best thing. I had the pleasure of using their service to send flowers to my best friend for her bday. Super simple process: You text them and they reply back with their pricing depending on whether you want a wrapped bouquet or vase. Since these were going to be delivered, I opted for the vase option. I chose the Cherish vase which was $90 + Tax $8.32 + Delivery San Jose $15 = Total $113.32 I was also able to speak to Lily on the phone and she was super helpful.
