This review is embarrassingly long overdue... we hosted our wedding at The Table in 2016 and their manager suggested we use Apis Floral since they provided flowers for the restaurant weekly. I've never been more grateful for a referral! Jose & team were amazing to work with and their creations are absolutely magical and reasonably priced. We were originally going to get married in front of the meat case, but they strongly recommended that we consider having them build an archway/focal point for our ceremony and it was breathtakingly gorgeous! As far as other arrangements, we just told them we wanted the colors to match the restaurant's decor and we'd love to have herbs/produce incorporated to play into the farm-to-table approach of the restaurant. Apis delivered beyond our wildest dreams! We told our guests that they could take centerpieces home, and they were almost all snatched up (including a most of the ceremony archway!) before I could save a couple for ourselves - which is especially impressive since the majority of our guests flew in for the wedding. People still talk to us about our floral arrangements all these years later and we've ordered bouquets from Apis for special occasions or gifts for our friends. Apis are our flower guys for life.
Apis Floral - Stunning. They created they most beautiful floral I have seen. They took what my Daughters Design "Moody Wedding" and created art work. They were delivered all the floral early in the day so we could take lots of Pre wedding photos. When working with them, they were spot on with floral names and textures. I have been in event planning for many years and have rarely seen floral for a wedding that is this unique and stunning. The only issue, and I hate to say this was communication. One booked, I had a few changes. I sent emails and left phone calls that were slow to be responded to. All in all I would highly recommend Apis Floral for private and corporate....maybe ask what is the best way to communicate any changes with them.
There are so many choices when sending flowers that it can be literally overwhelming. The question really becomes: are we sending basic flowers or not? Not to knock the other guys but companies that will deliver a small bouquet of roses, carnations, some babies breath and maybe a lily for flair are a dime a dozen. Save those for when you're sending flowers to your mother in law after a procedure. The true loves deserve Apis. The flowers and arrangements are exquisite and the price point can't be beat!!! Guys: if you're sending your lady flowers and actually want another date, send these. When guys send the carnation brands it's ground for immediate delete; worse than a green box on a text chain.
Apis Floral created a beautiful flower decor for our event in Montalvo Arts Center. Their creativity and attention to details are very impressive! Their flowers are fresh, vibrant and lush. They also setup and decorated a beautiful boxwood backdrop and attached all the names of the sponsors of our event for Ava's Kitchen Organization. It was a pleasure to work and coordinate this event with Apis Floral. I recommend them for floral decor for weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, anniversaries and other social events. The APIS team put together the most beautiful arrangements for our May 2023 Wedding! They were on our venues recommended vendor list, so we had to check them out. They went above and beyond in terms of service and communication; were able to take our timeless (classic) vision of white and green florals and make it into something incredible. We initially met with Efrain (our point of contact) for a consultation. He's worked weddings at Nestldown many times before, so he knew how to best reuse our florals from ceremony, to dinner and reception. He got back to us with a reasonable quote and even as we made changes throughout the planning process, was mindful of our budget. The team is really knowledgable; was able to recommend in-season florals without breaking the bank and they were genuinely a pleasure to work with. Shout out to Jose, who on the wedding day gave me great advice for walking down the isle and even put on my veil right before the ceremony- truly a man of many talents.

Had the opportunity to work with Efrain and it was a pleasure. Apis Floral is one of Levi's Stadium's preferred vendors, so we decided to hire them for our xmas party. We sure made the right decision. From the get-go, Efrain was easy to work with. We spoke maybe twice, and mostly emailed. I pretty much let him go wild with our arrangement. Shared with him the colors we liked, the budget and just let him run free with his imagination, after all, this is his forte. The boss and I were overly pleased with the outcome. In my 21-year history with the company, I'd have to say Efrain's arrangements ranks one of my favorites. Will definitely be contracting him for future work at our company events.
If it wasn't for a friend that recommended this place to me, I would have never thought to come in to get the most special gift I picked out for my sister for her bday last week. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love me some flowers. You can even catch me at my local grocery store grabbing bunches of flowers just so I can have fresh bouquets at my house on a weekly basis. Something about flowers just make me smile. But the one thing I don't love is that they die. Apis has the perfect solution for this because they offer several choices of planters where you can choose your own succulents to put inside of them. When I saw that they had wooden box planters in the Alphabet letters, I was immediately drawn to the letter "D" for my sister's name-- Daisy. Like the giddy excited child that I am, I picked out all of the succulents that went into her "D" box and showed them to the florist so that she could plant them for me. Leviere was her name and she was amazing. She had my custom box made for me in 3 days. When I came to pick it up, I was floored at what a beautiful job she did making it come alive. Literally. And the true test? The look on my sister's face when I gave her the gift. She loved it. And guess what.. I want one now too. I'm going to have to come back and visit Api's again to get one for myself.
Received the most unique LARGE bouquet from my granddaughter this weekend! Almost made it worth while to be officially old at 80!
When I saw my wedding flowers, I couldn't stop saying "ughh" because I couldn't process and handle how pretty the flowers were. I really cannot get over how wonderful, gorgeous, whimsical, soft, and unique my floral arrangements were . I absolutely, positively, adore Efrain and Jose. They are such sweethearts and are so incredibly great at what they do. They also give great hugs. It takes a lot of talent and creativity to do gorgeous and unique floral arrangements. They did their job and excelled at it with little direction. I researched a lot, and I mean, a lot, of florists before booking Apis and knew that when I found Apis, they were the right florists for me. Flowers aren't #1 priority for all brides but for me, it was an area I wanted to splurge on. I love flowers and have 0 regrets about spending on this area. My guests all thought my arrangements were gorgeous. I got to pick out the gold-speckled compote vases for the centerpieces. The only thing I was confused about was whether or not my wedding dress was used for the floral arrangements. I think my mom dropped off the extra fabric from my dress to be used as the ribbon on the nosegays and bridal bouquet but I didn't recognize or see it on the bouquets. I love the Apis location inside the warehouse and how cute and whimsical their entire space is. You can buy lots of pretty gifts and items there outside of floral arrangements. They have candles, vases, cards, mugs and much more. We got comped the boutonnieres for the fathers of the bride and groom and the groomsmen. It was such a generous gesture. I was surprised by how large the nosegays were. I expected them to be half the size but they were quite full and large! I didn't choose specific flowers that I wanted because I knew that I'd love all and any flowers and that there were probably a lot of flower varieties I didn't know the names of that the florists could incorporate. I just told them I wanted peach, purple and pink shades and a loose, flowy, and whimsical shape. I didn't want a hard ball of monotoned roses and I didn't want a glam look despite my relatively glam venue. Apis did my sweetheart table arrangement, cocktail table arrangements, large ceremony arrangements, and fireplace mantle garland as well. Other flower arrangements you might consider for a wedding include plate garnish, flower girl crown, or corsages. My mom, maid of honor and I gushed over the flowers and felt it was 150% worth every penny. I know that others sometimes don't care for nice centerpieces because they have family-style dining where the centerpiece takes up space and guests end up just moving it and putting it on the ground. For my wedding, we had buffet-style dining and we had very large tables. I knew I'd have space for a nice and large centerpiece. I learned about Apis Floral thru a venue space that they frequently decorate (Nestldown in Los Gatos, CA). Making a reservation to come into their shop to look at their inventory was easy to do. I was happy that they were familiar with my wedding venue (SCVCC-Silver Creek Valley Country Club) so I was confident that transportation and getting there wouldn't be a problem for them. I liked that Apis has a wide variety of floral arrangements and they can adapt to many different styles (from romantic, to classic, modern, fun, whimsical, etc). I saw that they had done a kumquat tree arrangement for a Brazilian (?) bride at SCVCC and thought that it was so original & 1 of a kind. I came to their shop (located in a warehouse) to do a consultation with Efrain. It was nice because he pulled different compote vases that I could choose from, votive options, and larger flower stand options. For the larger pieces, they keep the bottom of the flower arrangement but for the shorter centerpieces, you get to keep everything (compote vase included). My mom ended up buying an iridescent vase with wispy dry plants inside for $27. It cost over $30 but Efrain gave us a deal. It was so gorgeous, soft and whimsical. Their prices are very fair and Efrain works with you and your budget goals. I wouldn't have had so much trust in other florists based on their portfolios and past work but with Apis, I had 100% trust and was able to let go of the bride reigns and relax a little.
This shop is all sorts of adorbs. I just plain dig this entire building on Lincoln Ave, home to a brewery, bike shop, furniture store, coffee roaster, clear ice specialist (ya that's right), and of course Apis Floral. AF is a small florist/home decor shop that packs a pretty punch. I'm talking wall to wall stuff like floral arrangements, succulents, candles, neat matchboxes, pots and planters, books, and more! Plus they bring in great seasonal stuff so you'll always find something new and exciting. And you can always expect to be greeted by a friendly face and smile. The service is always great. It's just an all around awesome local biz.
Apis Floral did an amazing job for our wedding at Nestldown this September. We asked for loose, whimsical florals in neutrals & blush, with a touch of blue and gold, and Jose and his team definitely nailed it! Not only us, the couple, but all the guests loved the centerpieces and many took them home (FYI: we offered them to our guests as we couldn't take any since our cats like to nip on plants). Their pricing is very reasonable for the services that they provide, and we highly recommend them for any important events you have!

We had Apis provide the florals for our May 2024 wedding and were blown away with the above and beyond service they provided! During the quote stage, Apis was very communicative with us and accommodating of requested changes and estimates for additional services. Our vision for our florals was pretty specific, which was why during the design mockup stage, we were really in awe of their designs and felt that our vision had been heard and understood perfectly. They were able to pull in specific flowers that we loved (sometimes when we weren't even sure of their names and only had cropped screenshots to give them!) and found complimentary ones that matched our color scheme. We were impressed that they stuck around throughout the first parts of the day too, instead of just dropping off the flowers and leaving. They helped me figure out how to best position the bouquet for my entrance so that it looked natural and displayed the blooms beautifully as I descended the (massive) staircase into our ceremony. They also noticed the groomsmen slipping around in their shoes on the rain-soaked terrain, and immediately jumped in with a solution to add some traction to the soles so we wouldn't have any falls! They were even nice enough to gift us some of the vases which we had used as centerpieces. THANK YOU APIS! read more

What Jose and Efrain created for our wedding was nothing short of magical! I loved our florals so much that I even took extra steps to preserve as many of them as I could in frames and resin. I'm someone who gets overwhelmed with too much decision making, and I didn't really have a specific vision for my wedding flowers going in. I knew that I wanted purple and I wanted whimsy but that was about it. Our venue, Nestldown, already has beautiful gardens and landscaping and is surrounded by redwoods so I wasn't sure how much more I wanted to add as far as botanicals. Efrain was the perfect person to help us bring a cohesive look together. He asked great questions about the general feel we wanted for the day and gave us some recommendations of what we could do. I also really loved that he never tried to upsell us. He let us know if an idea seemed like too much, was unnecessary or would take away from the natural beauty of the venue. I knew that I wanted to use flowers and greenery that were in season as much as possible. It tends to be better for the environment, is less expensive and makes it more likely that we will be able to get blooms in large quantities when we need them because they are readily available. I could tell that this was also something that was important to them which made me very happy. At our second meeting they created a mock up of what our table centerpieces could look like. I was blown away! It felt like they had figured out exactly what I wanted when I didn't even know myself. Efrain also looked at pictures of my dress, my bridesmaids dresses and my husband's suit to better coordinate our personal flowers for the day. They also figured out how best to reuse as many of the arrangements as possible for different parts of the day which also helped us cut down on cost. On the day of the wedding, Efrain was so sweet! I could tell he was excited to show me what they had created and he personally wanted to hand me my bouquet. They stayed throughout the day to help move things around and make sure everything looked beautiful. They even added some magic to our wedding cake with fresh flowers! We were able to keep all of our arrangements, and we ended up re-using them for a 'Recovery Day' party we had the next afternoon. The flowers all still looked so beautiful a few days after the wedding that, after setting some aside to dry and preserve, I put the rest outside my front door and invited our neighbors to come pick flowers for their homes. read more

APIs shoes me once again that they're not only talented but all about customer satisfaction. My bestie ordered me birthday flowers (on Halloween. Yes, that's my actual bday) and they were delivered to a neighbor down the street. Once Apis realized the issue, they made me an all new beautiful bouquet and delivered it to me personally (by the owner ON Halloween night!). Lucky me, we eventually got the flowers from my neighbor and I was extra spoiled. I thought it was pretty amazing. The flowers were GORGEOUS. Thanks APIs!!!! read more

So happy my aunt recommended apis floral! Efrain is just wonderful! With very little direction, he delivered and installed exactly what I was imagining for my wedding day. It is really great when professional can jump in and just know what to do to get things done and deliver a look (especially on a wedding day when so much is going on). Efrain was communicative, easy to work with and again delivered beautiful florals - prices were also reasonable! I would recommend Apis to anyone looking for a great floral vendor! read more

Due to the Corona epidemic our daughter's high school graduation was canceled like many others. Seeing your child's heart break from something so odd, we needed something. Efram and his team came through in a huge way, literally. We've been using APIs for the past few years and have always been impressed, so this time it was important. What an amazing, creative and beautiful arrangement they created for our daughter. We will never forget how they took an interest and were so wonderful to work with. read more

STUNNING arrangement! Sent flowers to my daughter in a difficult to access office in the Cupertino area. Not only were the delivery instructions followed to a T... but the arrangement was beyond my expectations! Absolutely gorgeous! I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am to the amazing team at Apis Floral! In the chaos of COVID, my husband and I opted to get eloped in a gothic themed ceremony in our family's backyard. With very little time or direction, Apis put together a stunning variety of arrangements perfectly fit for an October wedding. I am SO glad I trusted them with full creative control; their instincts were better than anything I could have imagined. I had an amazing first shopping experience with Apis Floral. They have amazing taste and can read my mind. I was trying to order a simple zoom wedding bouquet but unfortunately I put the wrong order. They called me to make sure my intention, in the end presenting a nice bouquet with vast as a gift. It's very sweet for us. read more

My daughter who lives in Pennsylvania ordered Mother's Day flowers for me from Apis and boy am I feeling blessed! The bouquet was huge and filled with peonies, pin cushions, antique roses, mini hydrangeas and much greenery. Even the paper wrapping was glorious - not to mention the extravagant ribbons of many colors, chiffon and satin. Seriously!!! These folks are in the business of blessing us!! read more

I am beyond in love with José & Efrain & Apis Floral. It is very rare that you can tell a vendor your dream and have it come to reality. The florals they did for my wedding literally (and I'm not saying that as we all use) took my breath away. I am still hearing from all my guests they could not believe how beautiful everything was and I am sure I will hear it for years. Boy oh boy this review is long overdue but here it is. I was researching around for small business owned florist and stumbled across Apis Floral. Their designs are not something that comes out of a workbook. When you pay for their creation, you're getting a custom work of art. I inquired about having tulips being delivered, but they didn't have any in the store that day, they even offered to get some picked up the next day if I was willing to have my flowers delivered the next day. The lady on the phone was very helpful with choosing substitute flowers, the style, and the color of the arrangement. I had also asked for late afternoon delivery to which they were able to do. When I saw the photo of the arrangement I was surprised at the selection of florals used in the design, orchids and garden roses!! Thanks Apis!!! read more

My husband threw me a surprise 50th birthday party, and that morning he asked a friend from out of town to "pick up some bunches of flowers," thinking she would just grab a couple bouquets from Trader Joe's (don't judge, he went all out on everything else). Instead, she found nearby Apis Floral, and they were able to put together four gorgeous wedding-quality table arrangements (3 medium, one slightly larger) within a couple hours. Not only were they my favorite flowers (dahlias), but the colors and accents were absolutely stunning. I was amazed to learn that they had not been ordered weeks ahead of time. The quality of these beautiful arrangements made this incredible birthday party even more special. I didn't think to take pics until a few days after the event, but they lasted for a while! I'm excited to have a new go-to florist in my neighborhood! read more

WOW! I emailed during the week to get flowers for my baby shower on Saturday. Boy, Apis did not disappoint. My flowers were a HUGE hit with everyone asking where I got them done. I was happy to pass along their information. Apis is now my go-to flower place! Couple of things: 1) Service: I handled the entire order over email. The ease of use, quick responses can not be understated. The one time I called to pay, it was equally pleasant. Excellent service. 2). Quality: The flowers themselves are incredibly beautiful. Very appropriate for a baby shower, and they looked at my pinterest suggestions for colors/style, and created a lovely, unique, and artistic ensemble. Good mix of flowers, and great quality! Excellent flowers 3). Price: Very reasonable. The quality justifies anything they've charged really. Excellent prices. 4) Artistic: Unique designs; not your run of the mill, tacky, FTD/1800Flowers stuff... uh unless you're into that. These flowers were gorgeously designed. read more
