Decided to give this place a try and am disappointed I did. Initially my nails looked great. But within a week were lifting. I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years, so I understand that there are usually three reasons for lifting: cheap products, poor application, lack of and/or use of a proper bonding agent. In this case it's definitely cheap product. Not to mention the nail tech was on a FaceTime group chat the entire time he was doing my nails. Interestingly enough as I was checking out, his next client who appeared to be a regular based on their interaction had half of her nails missing on each hand. Now I know why. I recently visited the salon and Kimberly was my nail technician. She was one of the best nail technicians I have ever had and the salon was clean and sanitized. She took her time completing my gel pedicure and dip powder manicure my nails look really natural. read more

I guess you get special treatment if you are a regular. My nail tech "tried" but the experience was not great. Usually when I get a dip, I'm asked to wash my hands before the final coat. I get to my car and notice my nails were discolored. Immediately went back and she acknowledged the error. I guess she was in a rush to leave bc she wasn't surprised that I came back to complain. This is my second time here, but I've left very satisfied both times! Petite Nails is a very clean and modern spa with wonderful nail technicians. My gel manicures look great and last a long time. My experience there has always been very comfortable and relaxing. Both Linda and Kim have worked on my nails, and they are so sweet and kind and really take their time with the job. Also, they do an amazing job with brow waxing! Kim shaped and waxed my brows and she did such a clean job. They do appointment scheduling, but I was able to get a walk in easily when I first visited. Prices aren't too bad either - $28 for a gel manicure and $11 for eyebrows. I'm definitely going to become a regular here! read more

I had a wonderful experience here! The salon is small, but clean and modern looking and the ladies are very friendly. They have a separate smaller room with the pedicure chairs, which was really nice. The salon is located right next to Gelati Celesti, so you have an excuse to go afterwards ;). I was looking for a good salon to do my first Shellac manicure and am so glad I came across Petite Nails, and my manicurist, Bo. He did an absolutely fabulous job and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. What I enjoyed most was Bo's approach to the service -- he told it to me straight as far as the health of my nail bed. He would rather be honest and tell me that perhaps I needed to wait a month before my next manicure to let my nails breath. He put sound advice over financial gain and really showed me that he not only cared about his customers but really enjoyed his job. And the color/manicure is perfection as well. The staff is so friendly! I love Phanny!! She always gets me right! This is a small nail salon that caters to its clients. They will give you suggestions on style and color. They even give you the best bang for your buck. I've never felt uncomfortable in the salon. They are experts with wax also. They will hook you up with a mean brow! So disappointed in the place. Before I moved to Florida this was my go to place. Since coming back, I went to them. I got my nails done on 2/24 By I think her name was Kim. First I was told she would be there at 10:30, I waited she didn't arrive until 11:12. This was a rush job. I explained that my nails were not coffin shape and she tried to tell me that they were but becuase my nails were short it was hard to make that shape. Proper customer service would have been to say that once I decided on a length and shape. I am a licensed stylist with a salon on Quioccasin so I know what's right since I nails was apart of my curriculum in cos school. These nails look like shit. TWO have broken off, they are rounded and not coffin, and several are lifting. I will definitely not be back or refer another soul to these people. They clearly didn't give a damn about the type of service or quality they performed. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I just got home from having my nails done here. Have been wanting to do shellac for a long time after a friend of mine swore by it. I normally do my nails myself because I'm a freak about having nail polish on the surrounding skin... as in I HATE IT. But alas, it never lasts as long as it does when I go to a salon. Decided to splurge and get a shellac manicure and pedicure. They offered the shellac in pedicure too? AWESOME! Or at least I thought it was. The woman doing my nails made several comments about my toenails being small. She asked if I cut them short or did I bite them. EWWWW IS THAT A THING?!?! (barrrrrrf) She did my pedicure first, and then did the manicure. The manicure went much better, but upon inspection after leaving, there is clear and my dark purple nail polish all around the skin. She didn't even bother cleaning it up. And upon inspection of my toes, they are even worse. She said as she was finishing my manicure that my nails are small and it was hard to do. I awkwardly said "okay..." because I'm not going to apologize for having small nails. She also said I cut them too short (not true). But even if I did- does that mean I am only destined to have crappy mani-pedis because my nails are small? Her fingernails were small too! I have small hands and feet, I can't help that my nails are proportional. I went with my roommate and her shellac mani-pedi turned out awesome. Her stylist was much friendlier and did a great job cleaning up. Since this is my first experience with shellac, I'll see how long it lasts. It may be worth it in the end if it lasts as long as it says it will, but I guess I'm back on the search for someone who will do a mani-pedi right. read more

Unfortunately, not what I hoped. I got a Groupon about a year ago and went to visit the salon last year. When I showed up without an appointment I was snapped at to come back after I made an appointment. After that I vowed to never go back, I'll happily pay for a better salon, a mani/pedi should be a relaxing experience! Unfortunately I had a meeting tomorrow and needed to get my nails done so I went back, thinking I'd give them a second chance. Also when I was surprised that a polish change was $10 after she told me $8 she proceeded to lecture me on how everything costs more than year ago "your electrical bill is more, your rent is more, gas is more, so is this". I mean really, lecture me on inflation? I should have left right then but I really wanted this to get better, I needed my nails done after all! It didn't get better. A regular customer came in and they were happy to hurry me out to wax her eyebrows (so I guess they do take walk ins for SOME people) The women in the salon were very rude, my nail tech was extremely critical of my nail shape and irritated that I didn't want shellac. She tried to push shellac on me several times. She was extremely critical of the pricing and technique at the Elizabeth Arden Salon I typically go to (which I only started going to because I was treated so poorly at Petite Nails a year ago,I love them, amazing people, beautiful salon. I'll pay $10 more to have someone be pleasant to me!). Finally after being nagged during my manicure I looked down and saw that instead of a flesh tone i had what looked like garish white out on my nails, I said thanks, noted that I should have looked down earlier and asked her to remove it, I'd just leave with plain nails. I was told that she had done 10 nails and that would be $10 more if I wanted another color. First of all if I had wanted another color I would have paid $10 but i was appalled at the way she spoke to me, could you be ruder to a customer asking to leave with bare nails? I repeated (politely) that I just didn't want to go to the trouble of taking it off at home and what I was asking was to simply have it removed. Then she started talking to me like I was an actual customer, she was overly polite, nothing like my treatment earlier and offered to give me my money back, I told her i wanted to pay for the service please keep the money, she insisted on giving it back before I left. Why be so rude at first just to be overly polite after your customer is clearly ready to leave? read more

I went to Petite Nails with the intention of getting a maicure-pedicure. I did not get anything done in this place because as soon as I entered, the man working on aother customer said he only had time for a manicure. The place was empty and there was just him and another female employee working on another customer. Although the place looked nice and well decorated, it was completely empty, apart from the two employees and two clients. I left and I drove down the street to the next strip mall and got great service at Hollywood Nails. WIth so much competition on the nail business, I would not be surprised that this place closes down soon. read more

I have had acrylic, gel, silk wrap etc nails for about 35 years. Bo is among the best technicians and artists that I have experienced. His work is exquisite and he is well educated in his craft. Kim has done several pedicures for me and she is awesome. Her work, as well, is excellent and top quality. This is a small place but huge in quality. I went in early in the morning shortly after they opened. The pedicure chair was dirty, the tray was sticky, and the surrounding pedicure tubs looked like they were rinsed but not cleaned. The tools did not look like they were cleaned either. She rinsed them off in the foot water, wiped them on the dirty towel holding the toe clippings, and put them back in the basket. The lady working on my nails seemed friendly enough, but didn't really rinse the scrub off the back of my legs all the eay when she was done. I left there with feeling sticky, having uneven nails, and worried about getting an infection from her tools or the dirty tub. I do NOT recommend this place. read more

My mother-in-law is 92. It is a pleasure to take her to petite nails. Bo does hers and Kim does my nails every 2 weeks with the OPI shellac. Once a month we get nails and toes. They both do a great job helping Dorothy into the chair and Bo really makes her feel special. I have always gotten an excellent job done on my hands , feet and Kim does my facial waxing. The salon is really clean and peaceful. We love it and to top it off, we head over to Peking for lunch. A great way to spend the afternoon together. Our shellac manicure lasts at least 2 weeks. I found this salon when doing a seach for a shellac manicure. Based on all of the great reviews I gave it a try, needless to say I was IMPRESSED! Love the salon. The technicians and customers are all great and welcoming. I have made this my official salon of choice and have never returned to the previous salon that I frequented.
