Came to VA to spend time with my kiddos. I wanted to take them to get their first pedicures together. I researched & found this place. It's very pricey. It's located across from Short Pump mall. The young lady at the desk was very friendly. We got drinks and snacks, which I thought only came with the expensive pedicure packages that I got for my kids, but I found out that they give them to everyone. Guess I paid extra for the flowers in their foot soak. Next time I will get a regular pedi for them. My daughter & I got gel polish. My son got a buff. Every single thing costs extra. When we checked out, I paid over $200 before I even added the tip. Very expensive, but it was worth it to see the smiles on my kid's faces. She was very thorough and I will request her every time. This place is a bit on the pricier side so just be prepared. You get what you pay for though. I've never had a better mani/pedi in my life! Coffee while you get your nails done? They've got it. Heated pillow to go above your shoulders and neck? They've got that too! Overall a very wonderful, welcoming, clean salon. New place, nicely decorated and looks clean. Everything is white and shiny. People are very nice and friendly. I had their coconut pedicure 90$ - not really impressed, they pour coconut milk in the foot bath and sprinkle few rose petals. Besides that there was some kind of oil, scrub and lotion used with no fragrance that I could tell, all brought in little dishes so I don't know what they were. But they use REUSABLE foot graters to scrub calluses ( cheese grater ) which is a big NO for me. Massage was ok. It's listed that coconut pedicure includes shoulder massage but I didn't get that I guess my technician forgot? Also wine is included but they're waiting on their ABC license so I got water - other options were soda or latte/coffee. Disappointed and not coming back! read more

We had a bridal party (including men) of 11 and the salon scheduled extra staff to accommodate us all so that we all were not just promptly served but extravagantly pampered. I am typically ashamed of my nails because I work hard with my hands and I have some nervous habits that aren't exactly conducive to pretty hands and nails but the salon manager personally took me on and worked some absolutely incredible magic. With such a professional staff, calming ambiance, the extensive drink menu and yummy snacks, and the cute veil, sash, and crown for the bride, this salon earned a Gold Star! read more

I needed to get a Gel X removal and new set as I had a set that had grown out. I wanted a new set in preparation for a funeral, and I had shared a special request with Jodie, the owner, in light of this event that had to do with my nails. She respected this wish, made sure I was comfortable as possible, and this really touched my heart. From the moment Bella greeted me over the phone to book an appointment, they were so kind and accommodating, and I looked forward to my nail appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted kindly and very impressed with the space! Super well furnished and designed, and such a bright and welcoming space. As I was waiting only a short time to get checked in, Jodie greeted me as well, and I checked in for my appointment. She was incredibly sweet and bubbly, and she helped me decide if I wanted Build-A-Gel or Gel X still. Jodie and Bella offered me complementary drinks and snacks, and I got a yummy latte and some fabulous chocolates! They have a great selection of drinks and snacks. Like I said, Jodie was super accommodating and sympathetic to my wishes thought my appointment! She made sure I felt comfortable to communicate my wishes, my comfort levels, and that I was getting exactly what I was looking for. She helped me pick out a nail color and chrome powder as close as possible to what I wanted, and she made sure I had the nail shape I wanted. Honestly one of the best Gel X jobs I've had done. She also recommended me a great multi-purpose oil to help with dryness on my hands that I'm currently dealing with. Truly my appointment brightened my day, all thanks to the fabulous staff here! I can say that the cafe is very cute. All the staff are very friendly and polite. We did not have an appointment and they fit my daughter in for a basic pedicure and a full set of acrylic nails even though they were a bit busy at the time we went. I had never seen acrylic be done the way they have. The look seemed more sleek and thin. But not even 24hrs after one of my daughter's nails are already breaking in half. I do feel like although they worked us in we did wait for quite some time and for the services we asked for it is quite overly priced in my opinion. But before her nail started breaking I would've been okay with it. Now I do feel as it was a waste of money. Not bad! But won't be my first choice next time. Update: I called to ask if they could fix it and they were so happy to help with it. Booked an appointment right away and even offered to try and get her in before her event. Finally, I found a CLEAN nail salon! Each client gets NEW mani-pedi kits like they offer at a medical facility, and you have an option to even buy the clippers tools and they give you a case to bring them back in. And they clean your tools for you. I've searched for 2 years for a place like this. I found it by going to a wholesale salon supply store and asked them if there were any clean salons--- they suggested Anabelle Nail Cafe. My nail tech, Natalie, was very detailed oriented and did a fabulous job! She cared about her work and how it looked and did more than expected. I had a Signature pedicure and removal of a dip and polish for my fingernails. The atmosphere is fabulous--- bright and clean and with plants and looked like a cross between a boutique, with nice coffee, tea, and even wine for those who partake. I could not be more pleased. I am appalled this place has three stars! I hesitated getting a facial at the short pump places because the ones I have had were just a person going through a bored process. My sister decided to try Annabelle's for her nails so I made a facial appointment. First, we were greeted by people glad to see us, which was very nice! Next, my last facial was on a high end cruise so I am picky:), and I was NOT disappointed! I chose the base facial and it was an amazing experience. I found out the woman doing the facial was the owner and she asked for my constructive feedback. I will say one thing and that is, any service you get will be thorough! My sister's nails were done to perfection and as I mentioned the facial was fantastic. We were not asked to purchase any upsell products and we were both very relaxed after a hectic day. Amazing aesthetic and beautiful location. Very clean and tidy great refreshments. First time customers get a free cup but not always because my friend didn't get one. Service was all right there is still a lot of room to grow. Technicians aren't fully experienced and are very slow with too many extra steps. I always get my nails done monthly at my spot and it's nothing compared to this location. My dip nails are too thin then what I am used to since they are my natural nails.
