I walked in for a much-needed full set with Kim and Vivi, and they FAR exceeded my expectations. I've been getting acrylics regularly for 9+ years, and can't remember the last time I've been so pleased! Exactly what I asked for, with flawless work and excellent attention to detail. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Both Kim and Vivi were absolutely lovely - kind, skilled, gentle, and really listened to what I wanted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The salon itself is clean and comfy with a great polish selection (including OPI gel). Be aware the actual service takes a bit more time than you may be used to (nothing crazy, maybe 10 minutes more) because staff really want to do a great job for you. I do NOT understand the 5 star reviews. Book with caution. Asked for their "special" pedicure. Left with incredibly sloppy polish (multiple toes half painted and a big bubble on my big toe) and very rough/dry heels. The man giving the pedicure also managed to badly scrape the side of my foot in the process. When I saw how terrible the polish looked when I got out into the daylight, I called the shop - and the manager told me I'd have to come back for a refund. So I then wasted more time going back and waiting for her to "inspect" my toes... only for her to tell me they don't do refunds (this is apparently posted on a sign at the counter so this must be a recurring issue). She did offer to redo the polish but I barely had time for the initial pedicure - and couldn't waste a moment longer. And frankly, didn't have the patience to deal with the poor quality service. I came in here a little over a week ago. My mom has been here before and she had a great experience, so my expectations were high. My mom and I had scheduled appointments at 10am which is when they open. We arrived around 9:55am to see Ashley, the owner, sitting there. She greets us kindly and tells us to pick colors and wash our hands. After all of that, Ashley starts doing my moms nails and states that the person who is doing our nails is running late and that the client she's also supposed to do a pedicure on is also running late. Jaden, the guy who is supposed to do our nails, comes to work late with Starbucks in his hands. Ashley tells him kindly that he can't keep being late and he just rudely ignores her. Not only is it rude to her but to us as well since I had to wait while no one was doing my nails. He was also on his phone a lot and had his AirPods in too, which I thought was kind of weird, making the experience awkward. Moving on to the actual manicure part, he took a good chunk of skin off with the Dremel on my pinky, which kept throbbing and really hurt once acetone hit it. I was mad at first, But I will say this: it's been over a week and my nails have held up nicely. No chipping and they still look brand new. My mom and I really like Ashley! This is my second review because I decided to come back to this location after following a certain nail tech that I no longer follow. Blossoms nails is very welcoming, CLEAN & so relaxing- that I wanted to fall asleep. Saturday's are busy for everyone so I already spared myself extra time just in case so the ladies working could do what they needed to do without feeling pressured for time, only a short time went by my scheduled appointment and the owner was very apologetic and offered drinks/ snacks / & an upgrade to my pedicure. I have been to several nail salons in the past year & 1/2 and this one has been my favorite of all. BEWARE! I requested eyebrow waxing and did not know that the woman doing the waxing had just used chemicals to do a nail procedure. When she waxed my brows she touched my cheek and temple and caused burns on my skin. I will never go back and wanted others to beware of the problem with staff and chemicals. My friend and I came here for a girls day to get pedicures. The staff was kind however we weren't thrilled with the sanitation of the establishment and our biggest complaint was that we were given false pricing. The brochures they offered said the basic pedicure WITH gel polish would be $45. When we got to the front they showed us a different brochure stating it would be $58. It's always a slightly unpleasant experience because the service is so iffy but I love getting my nails done so I go anyways. Today, at Blossoms Nails, I got the best pedicure I've ever had. Emily was very sweet and showed such genuine interest! She was also easy to communicate with and very patient when I wanted to switch colors. Boyfriend wanted a pedicure so I found this place next to our hotel. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and water was hit and ready for us. Ashley was very friendly even though she was not the working with us but she made us feel very welcome. Now my pedicure was great my feet feels baby soft and polish was on point. However my boyfriend's experience was not as good His technician didn't give as much attentive detail. The message portion was light and quick compared to what he saw I was getting. Ashley is the most amazing owner and technician EVER! She is so skilled. I recently received a pedicure and a full Acrylic set with an evening appointment. I had made my appointment with Ashley a couple of weeks prior. A day before my appointment, Ashley called me to ask if I wanted her to provide both services, or if someone else could complete my pedicure. I said yes. It turns out that one of her regular customers needed a last minute appointment, so we were sharing Ashley's expertise. I liked seeing that she was so very accomodating for her regular customer. Even the customer thanked me multiple times for "letting her in" with Ashley. I am sure that Ashley was at work until well beyond closing time on this particular evening. Ashley is a hard-working business owner who knows the value of excellent customer service. She is welcoming and the experience is very relaxed. Terrible manicure. Manicurist made me bleed multiple times and then blamed it on me. She also proceeded to get gel nail polish EVERYWHERE but my nails resulting in lots of painful filing and ridges around my nails which have already resulted in chipped polish less than 24 hours later. Polish was applied unevenly resulting in see through spots all over my nails. A refund would be the least they could do to rectify the situation. read more
