Wow wow wow; a million times yes to this place. I snagged a reservation for 5 and last minute 2 friends wanted to join. I called the restaurant about 5 days prior to my Rez and they were able to accommodate adding two to my party. An already great start to my experience without stepping foot into the restaurant. The exterior and interior of the building are way cute but holy cow did the food shine here. My friend and I shared the French onion soup, the steak tartare, and the filet mignon entree. Literally all 10s. I would say don't skip the soup or the filet. The soup was so rich with flavor and honestly might be the best rendition I've ever had. The filet had this amazingly rich sauce and it was paired with bites of lobster. I haven't stopped thinking about it. The steak tartare was also so good. I've never had it before so it's hard to compare but I really enjoyed it! Our server was attentive and so knowledgeable about the food and drinks. I think his name is Bruce but might be wrong about that. I would say snag a reservation if you can cause this place is not to be missed. A well deserved 5 stars! read more

A friend picked Petit Maison as one of our special places to have dinner while we are in Telluride for the Annual Film Festival. Turned out we had reservations on one of the last nights they are open before the Festival starts. They apparently are sold out during that entire festival to a large publishing company. We were in luck! It was one of the best (French) meals I've had since I was in Paris. I will just show you our meals in pictures. The service was impeccable. Steven, our server, was accommodating and professional. The ambiance was small and intimate. It wasn't inexpensive, but worth very penny. I would go back in a heartbeat. Next time. I walked in for dinner without a reservation and was able to be seated at the bar, but it's a pretty small place and even at the bar there were not a lot of seats so I would recommend reservations. The decor is pretty and cozy. The bartender was pretty busy, so it took some time between courses to order, but the food came out pretty quickly and it was very good. read more

Came here on during a trip to Telluride. We started with the beet salad with goat cheese wontons, which I really enjoyed. First time having these kinds of wontons, and it's a super innovative idea. Escargot was prepared and seasoned very well. The truffle fries were also a hit! Our main was the pork chop, and we both felt it was on the dry side. Their cherry creme brulee is excellent though. Overall, service was friendly and competent. The restaurant is chic, and their restroom features scented stones from a nearby local boutique, which I thought was a very special touch. read more

My husband I dined here on a cold Friday night in December and it was magical! The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. If we dined here again, we would also consider sitting at the bar if we were looking for a more social experience. Everyone working was welcoming, friendly & professional. Our service was fantastic. They had many gluten-free options & some vegetarian options as well. Their wine list was excellent, notably their cab franc by the glass. Their cocktail list was also creative and had many options that caught my eye. We shared the kale caesar to start. It was crisp, well-dressed and fresh. We both had the steak au poivre and OMG, just yes. It was cooked to perfection, had a great crust, the peppercorn sauce was served on the side (brilliant) was a great compliment. It melted it our mouths. the side of pomme pave was decadent, but not overpowering. Their dessert menu looked enticing, but we decided to end with decaf coffee. What a gem of a French restaurant! My favorite in Telluride. As a French man who was trained cooking into 2 and 3 star guide Michelin my bar is fairly high and I often have to lower it when it comes to French cuisine. " Ma Maison " definitely is an exception to the rule. The food was absolutely fantastic. The French onion soup, steak tartare, oysters were delicious. The Demi glacé wine sauce with the Filet saignant was perfectly executed. Their porc caramélisé aux vin was also a great success. David our server and host was so friendly that we invited to drink with us some great 2020 Châteauneufdupape. The atmosphere is genuinely friendly in a feutré and friendly environment. The pappardelle was incredibly soft and the beef bourguinon was sooo tasty and deep and rich. My friend and I visited Telliride for the weekend and was given suggestions by locals for food. The recommendations were booked but Petite Maison was the sister restaurant to one of the recommendations, so we figured we would check it out since they had reservations open for the night we went. A $75 deposit was required online for reservations and you will be charged if you do not make reservations (24 hour window). It was a very small but relaxing environment. We were sat at the bar but there were no hooks to hang purses, etc underneath and the coat rack was full so I had to sit on my coat throughout the dinner. I ordered a signature cocktail and couldn't even finish it due to the amount of alcohol in it- too much to start with. The risotto appetizer and the French onion soup were delicious. My friend and I split their version of "beef Wellington" which I was pretty disappointed with. It only had a small circular crust laying on top of the steak (like a biscuit), instead of the whole steak being wrapped in it (so still unsure why it took forever to come out from the kitchen). The steak itself wasn't that flavorful and the green beans we added were bland. We ended the night with a cappuccino and crème brûlée- which were both scrumptious! Overall I think this place is overpriced and a bit bland and I would only come back for appetizers and desserts. read more

Absolutely charmed by this French bistrot. The menu is perfection and the food, cocktails and wine were incredible. We started with cocktails which the bartender executed perfectly, followed by the salmon appetizer which the chef graciously modified slightly for us and was delicious. The beet salad and the little gem salad were light and flavorful and delightful. My husband who is incredibly hard to please said the coq au vin was the best he's ever had and my salmon entree was beyond. We are currently finishing with the poached pear and it's divine.
