Cheeseburger, fries, prosecco rose
Taylor N.

What a cute little shop! It's located in the middle of Market Square Tower Park. I stopped by this spot for a little solo lunch on a beautiful Sunday. There are two separate small shops that make up Petit Lucie: a bar and a kitchen where the food is prepared. There's plenty of seating and the trees/umbrellas make for a nice, shaded dining area. I ordered a glass of Prosecco Rose and their cheeseburger with fries. You can pick up your drinks at their bar area. You're given a buzzer for when your food is ready, but there's a server who brings it out for you! The server was great and very attentive. The food was perfect! I loved the caramelized onions and my only suggestion would be to add more! Overall, I'd definitely come back and try some other foods.

Love's croissant's are always flaky, buttery, and delicious. The pain au chocolat is my go to, and everything else is just really well done. They are also serving sandwiches, salads, and boozy drinks. Recommend going early in the mornings to beat the Texas summer heat, and enjoy layers of flaky croissant crumbs falling on your clothes while you sit outside at the park. Service is very good, they are constantly cleaning up after other patrons and making sure they are getting their drinks and food in a timely manner.

Picked up lunch here during the work day and wowow! I absolutely loved the food. I enjoy chicken salad but putting it on a crispy flaky croissant levels it up!! The chicken salad is unique with a yummy fragrant cheese they had with it. It was very good. The chips with crème fraiche dip was also really great. Did an order pick up and it was ready and easy to pick up. The place is set up in market square park and they have a patio set up under the park trees which is lovely.

We really enjoyed trying this new coffee shop! There was long line but it seemed to go quickly and the staff seemed friendly and well organized. I thought the pastries were DELICIOUS and fresh. The coffee was also very good, i appreciated being able to taste the coffee without it being too sweet. Definitely would return!

I did a to go order here and stopped by on a weekday afternoon. It was a steady busy, but the line wasn't long at all. I ended up getting a blueberry scone, a haute dog, and the pistachio cloud latte. The haute dog was my favorite. An all beef hot dog wrapped in croissant dough. The pistachio cloud latte was underwhelming. They line part of the cup with some pistachio sauce so you don't really get much pistachio. Tasted just like a plain iced latte to me. You gotta pay for parking if you visit during parking meter hours. I paid $2 for 1 hour of street parking.

Loved their truffle fries and the butter pecan ice cream. Nice spot to enjoy being outside with a dog. Good vibe in the patio with music.

Parking is most convenient in the museum garage and the restaurant validates it. We had a reservation for Sunday night around 8 pm and it was surprisingly quiet...probably because it was a later dinner. The HRW menu was $55 for three courses. I started with the hamachi crudo which was light and fresh. It The passion fruit and peaches and I loveee a raw fish + fruit combo. It was so good! For my entree, I ordered the chicken. I rarely order chicken at restaurants, so I was a little skeptical but it did not disappoint. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, and not dry at all. It came with cashews and chili crunch on top which added the perfect texture and flavor. I loved how they elevated a simple dish. For dessert, I chose Le Fraisier, a vanilla Chantilly sponge cake and it was easily my favorite course. Not only was it delicious, but it was absolutely stunning!!! almost didn't want to eat it because it was so pretty! The service was also amazing. Our waiterRuben was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to make conversation with us. Every staff member who stopped by was equally knowledgeable about the food and the wines we ordered which is always appreciated when visiting somewhere for the first time. Overall, I was extremely impressed by the food, atmosphere, and service. It definitely lived up to its MICHELIN star status. Tens across the board!!!

Annabelle was highly recommended and we made reservations during HRW. We were seated in the Sun…read moreroom. Place is beautiful with an outdoor with a view to boot. We started with the French onion soup and deviled eggs. French onion soup was good with the appropriate amount for gruyere and bread and soup. The deviled eggs was their signature appetizer. It was good but not as silly as others we have had. The trout caviar gave it a nice pop and taste. For mains, we ordered the steak frites and short rib beef bouginon. Presentation-wise, the NY strip was sliced and had extras like rosemary butter, grilled garlic and onion. The bad is that it looked and tasted like a cheap cut of NY strip. There was sinew running halfway in the middle of the steak so made it tough to chew. I started discarding those pieces. The fries were delicious... and we ordered the truffle version with an upcharge. For the beef bouginon, the beef was tender but came in one big chunk. I've not see it served that way before. Beef was stringy and considering it's supposed to be short rib, it was lean IMO. The stew was decent with chunks of potato, carrot and pearl onions. For dessert, we ordered the Profilotores and Blueberry parfait. Thought the Profilotores was yummy! Paired with big scoops of ice cream makes it had to beat. The parfait was a soft cheesecake with big blueberry and sauce for toppings. It was a good choice... delicious as well. Overall, ambiance and service were great! The food esp the mains were a disappointment. Hope they spend a little more for a better cut of beef. Hard to justify going back unless somebody asks to go. Giving 4 stars as ambiance and service were 5/5 and food were 3/5.

The restaurant is elegant, the food was delicious, and the entire experience was outstanding. We started our date night with a refreshing bottle of Raimbault et Fils Sancerre Vignerons, paired with a variety of appetizers, including shrimp ceviche, Wagyu empanadas, Wagyu sliders, a wedge salad, and both East Coast and Gulf oysters. Every dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. To end the evening, we followed Alberto's recommendation and ordered the chocolate soufflé, served with vanilla ice cream. The dessert was perfectly balanced, rich yet not overly sweet, making it the ideal finale to an exceptional meal. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. From the impeccable service to the outstanding cuisine and inviting atmosphere, it was a memorable experience, and we look forward to returning soon.

I went during lunch, and it wasn't too busy, which was a plus. We made a reservation because I had heard this place gets packed. I got the potato croquette, the steak frites (which was +$24), and the chocolate dome. The potato croquette was phenomenal, and I really enjoyed it. It was crispy with a soft interior, and the sauce tasted like a tomato bisque, which paired really well with it. The steak frites, on the other hand, was not good. I'm used to steak frites being cut already, which isn't a big deal, but this steak was WELL DONE when I ordered medium rare. The waitress did offer to make me another one since I only ate two bites, but I don't like sending food back. So, I just kept it, didn't eat it, and still paid for it. :( The chocolate dome was good. The flavors were decent, and I liked the texture. The cappuccino was bland and boring. I don't think I'll be going back here.

The lack of valet parking isn't a total loss because there's a lot across the street and a garage around the corner, also free event parking at the curb. With a party of 4 adults and 2 kiddos, we were able to have a comfortable meal with plenty of space for wiggling feet. The menu itself offers so much, it was honestly difficult to choose! Everything sounded worth having on a plate, but HRW is best enjoyed with indulgence in mind. One can never go wrong with a salad as a starter, and the Filet Wellington was so tender. The pastry case was so light and flaky, really tied each bite together. And that sauce, bottle it. Lastly, dessert. This apple tart was indeed fine. The ice cream brought sweetness to the tart without overpowering the apples, and not a crumb was left. Service really allowed for the meal to be enjoyed. I felt like I could've sat for hours, and a glass of Rosé certainly helped. Also a reservation, avoided a wait time entirely!

I was genuinely shocked at the portion sizes for the price and quality of the food. The dining room sunroom made the experience even better. It almost transports you out of Houston entirely. Be prepared to ask for whatever type of water suits you (or your budget) best! Excellent food, excellent value, highly recommend during Restaurant Weeks.

Our group of 5 was able to snag the lone round table, but there was still plenty of room in general. The menu was much more vast than I expected, ranging from affordable, light, brunchy plates to pricey entrees, as well as breakfast, lunch, and brunch. Truly something for everyone. The fries looked scrumptious in Yelp photos, so I went with the vegetarian omelette with a side of fries. I was so pleased with the whole meal...I did not leave a single bite behind. And it only cost $12! I really enjoyed the aioli with the fries. These were not frozen fries, that's for sure. The omelette was perfect! It was packed full of sautéed onions, mushroom, bell peppers, tomatoes, and cheese. We split a crepe for dessert with chocolate, strawberries, and whipped cream. It was the perfect dessert because it wasn't too heavy, but yet the crepe had substance. Our server was polite and the ambiance was quaint. There were lots of antique-looking clocks on top of the bar, which was really cool. Also the restaurant was not loud by any means, which is exceedingly rare nowadays. Our whole group enjoyed our meal, and it was so nice to try somewhere different. I'm definitely going to bring others to try Cafe Brussels, and would definitely recommend it for groups.
