Our server Massimo brought out some bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to start our meal. The calamari was amongst the best I've ever had, the breading was light and crispy. Both our pasta dishes were divine and authentic. At the end of our meal we had some espresso and were given complementary limoncello shots. He nods sagely, looks as though he is about to say something insightful, thinks better of it and invites me to take a seat. "Isn't that your dog?" he asks as a Ford GT passes trailed by a panting pooch "No", I reply, "mine can't run that fast".
