Our orders included the SLOW-BRAISED BEEF BOLOGNESE, FRESH TAGLIATELLE PUTANESCA & the NEW YORK PIZZA. The food was absolutely delicious! The Bolognese was meaty with just the right combination of ingredients. The PUTANESCA had the perfect combination of salty goodness (thanks to the capers & olives) that made the dish pop with flavor. Hubby has a dairy allergy so we shared the New York pizza without cheese with extra sauce. This was the absolute 1st time we've ever had the amount of sauce they put this pizza & it was perfect. The extra sauce helped to keep the crust from drying out during the cooking process so we were excited to actually see this. (Extra sauce in this amount is a rarity in most places we've been to) Paulie's staff members were ALL extremely friendly & polite helping to make the loud experience much better. As a group we decided this had been one of the absolute best meals we had eaten during our visit to Dublin. The flavors truly exploded in our mouths making each bite a delicious experience we were sad to see come to an end. But is a place really accessible if the toilets are not? Not only would the stairs have been an issue, but there's no way her wheelchair could have navigated through the restaurant to the back, and once there, forget it. Way too small and narrow for a chair to get in there. So yeah, great food, nice people, we had a good time. But I'm not sure "accessible" is accurate.
