Not very knowledgeable mechanics or probably without motorcycle mechanic license. Beware about the original parts and screws of your Bike; they might be lost and you end up with a remedy Bike. You enter your Bike working and no electric or misfire issue to install the carburetors repair kits and in the middle of the longest job you receive a call telling you that the work is too much up to that point and they need to charge you more money, against your first agreement. They returned the bike partially assembled, ensuring that all you need to do is connect the gas tank and the sits for them not to charge you more money; resulting in a false statement. You agree to receive it that way to avoid confrontation and the truth is the the Evac and Emission control Assembly was not properly connected and hoses were missing. I have being a Biker for over 40 years and always do my mechanical work in both of my Bikes; I just moved to Marlborough, Ma 8 months ago and this was my first experience. At this point ALL STAR CYCLE old me the original rubber stand were you screw the gas tank to the frame; an original screw for the air intake system; a strap of one on my leather saddlebags; the original Evac Emission hose because I do not like the one the mechanic installed color blue and my Alex stainless steel screws I had on for tightening the back sit. And like the paper withstand everything you write on it; the alleged electric misfire after the fact, was created when the mechanic did not screw back up the spark plugs cables, 3 of those cables were loosen, so the electric spark was arching. In Summary: They took my bike to install the carbs repair kits that I brought, did not finish the job, did no assemble the bike back up, did not tell the truth about the condition of partially assembled creating a false representation to the client and a breach of contract, they returned the bike disassembled base on a telephonic misinformation and without all the bolts, nothing was connected, the bike was returned 30 minutes later when the driver came back with the box of my bolts and they charge me $95.00 extra for connecting a blue hose and being negligent with 3 cables of the spark plugs. Yes I'm Mad and because of it I DO NOT RECOMMEND ALL STAR CYCLE BUSINESS to any of my fellow bikers and mostly the WAR VETERANS ONES.

I have purchased two brand new bikes in under a year from Cycles 128. The dealer was in my new…read morehometown, so I wanted to support them as well as capitalize on the convenience of their proximity to where I live. The first bike was a brand new 2017 Kawasaki Versys X, but it was at their sister dealership in Arlington (Cycles128 doesn't sell Kawasaki). My salesman at the time was Billy, and he was able to have the bike transferred from Arlington to Beverly for me, and I hadn't even put a deposit down on it. yet. This was based on a phone call I had made while on vacation in Costa Rica. Convenient! The whole process was easy, painless, and very relaxed. There was never any pressure or upselling, and it never felt predatory as vehicle sales so often are. Fast forward to just under a year later, and I decided to upgrade to a Suzuki VStrom 650. This time I had the great pleasure of dealing with Ellen Petrilli and Rick Brandano. Yet another chill, great experience. I told them right up front what I was looking for, and with that knowledge, they showed me other alternatives to consider but never discouraging me from my original goal. Their inventory is incredibly vast and a virtual candy store, and I was glad for the other options that were shown to me. I had my heart set on the VStrom, so we got down to business. Worth noting was a little hiccup on Suzuki's part, as their manufacturer website claimed that there were certain accessories included with the bike that tuned out not to be. Not a concern because Rick and C128 were on the case and miraculously got Suzuki to make good on their claim. They didn't have to do that, because most dealerships would predictably claim their hands were tied and just shrug it off. But not these guys. They totally prevailed and saved the day. That I will never forget. The numbers part of the operation was handled by Brad, with whom I had worked with on my prior purchase as well. Another great asset to the company. I now half-expect people to yell "Norm!" when I walk into the place now because I dealt with a lot of people and they're just a warm bunch. Just awesome.

Definitely hands down the worse place to get maintenance done. I dropped my jet ski off on a…read moreSaturday and picked it up on a Tuesday and looks like nothing was done to it. It was in the same spot where I dropped it off. I brought it home and had a buddy look at it and said the same thing. I do not recommend this place. Will definitely not go back.

I took a basic welding class to make a barn star at the Garrison Speed Shop in Mendon,…read moreMassachusetts. I have never welded before or used some of the tools and equipment required. The template pieces were all laid out, but that was it. Co-founder Luke had me read and sign all the releases first, and asked about my experience with welding etc. Being a Veteran myself, Luke as well, and the non-profit supporting Veterans and First Responders, he also made sure to ask me if loud noises or anything would bother me. Every step was explained and demonstrated before I was able to do it, and as nervous as I was at first, it quickly went away knowing he took my safety, the safety of others as well as their shop very seriously. Co-founder Ben also provided some muscle when I was unable to bend the metal myself. In just over 2 hours I had sanded, measured, re-measured, bent , hammered and welded together a really cool one of a kind 5-sided barn star. It was definitely something different to do and it was a really cool and fun experience. 5 stars !
