Had Gaelin install new pipes... they forgot to bolt them to the head.. halfway home while riding on RT 93 at highway speed I could hear and see exhaust rolling out of the head and and when I glanced down I could see the upper pipe of the two moving. If it had fallen I would have been killed. No apology from Gaelin at all... had it towed back and he found bolts and completed that install. 2. Last Spring I had a float stuck open in the carb. Bad fuel apparently or not enough Stabilize in the tank the fall before storage... he rebuilt the carb, didn't put it back together properly and on my very first ride the bike it overheated badly. I had no indication until the engine started skipping at highway speeds 30 miles after I left his hole in the wall shop. No temp lights came on as he had also tampered with and disconnected or screwed up the wiring to the gauges as he said he had done a bit of rewiring. As it turns out these incompetent idiots also did not reconnect a plastic connecter that routes coolant into carb to keep the temperature consistent. Coolant of course blew out as I was riding and before I could realize what was happening the coolant was completely gone, engine overheated badly and now the head is warped... this job is about a $3000 repair, this all occurred 60 miles after this idiot Gaelin "rebuilt the carburetor" and he accepts zero responsibility for this complete trashing of my otherwise perfect 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500 with only has 16,000 miles on it.. the bike is trashed. This shop is a disaster. Do not go to this place.., this bike was perfectly maintained and in superb condition and this irresponsible and incompetent man and his shop nearly killed me and my bike. Stay away from this mess.

I took a basic welding class to make a barn star at the Garrison Speed Shop in Mendon,…read moreMassachusetts. I have never welded before or used some of the tools and equipment required. The template pieces were all laid out, but that was it. Co-founder Luke had me read and sign all the releases first, and asked about my experience with welding etc. Being a Veteran myself, Luke as well, and the non-profit supporting Veterans and First Responders, he also made sure to ask me if loud noises or anything would bother me. Every step was explained and demonstrated before I was able to do it, and as nervous as I was at first, it quickly went away knowing he took my safety, the safety of others as well as their shop very seriously. Co-founder Ben also provided some muscle when I was unable to bend the metal myself. In just over 2 hours I had sanded, measured, re-measured, bent , hammered and welded together a really cool one of a kind 5-sided barn star. It was definitely something different to do and it was a really cool and fun experience. 5 stars !

I'm hoping to ride this baby off of the lot today :) Also plan to handle registration & inspection myself (I am trying to upgrade from a Honda 250 to this Honda 600). So far, I've primarily dealt with Ellen at the front desk. First over the phone, and then in person. She has been very kind and helpful, and has been able to secure and offer me a good deal. Perhaps if I'm handling the registration & inspection myself I might be able to receive a further price deduction... or perhaps a voucher for their riding school instead? Who knows? Couldn't hurt to ask :) I'm a new rider and have my permit, and have been riding my little Honda Rebel CMX250 with some confidence for some time now. Not a great highway bike though. Took her on a couple times anyways. As a person who is always running late for everything, the power and ability to take the highway if I want or need to will be invaluable. Getting ready to head back over to the dealership. (I was also there last night.) Hopefully we can close and I can ride her off the lot today! My first purchase was private sale and ended up being more of a project bike than I had time or money for. I'm hoping this bike will be ready to go with no issues for the foreseeable future! If for some crazy reason you are thinking of doing business with Mario Marriotti and Middlessex…read morePowersports you best do your research (including calling the Chemlsford Police Dept.) and prepare to be ripped off. My experience with Middlesex Power Sports / Old Outboard Marina or what ever else Mario is calling himself now, was exactly the same as other reviews you will find on the web if not worse. Mario had my boat for no less than...wait for it...4 1/2 years (not months, years). During which time I stopped in many many times to check on its status. I had to stop in as Mario does not take or return calls. In fact most of the time you can't even leave a message as his message are full. Twice when I visited I found he had been evicted from his place and the boat along with most everything else was gone. Tracking him down to his new location was both time consuming and as anxiety packed as you can imagine. At one point he did have it finished (although not tested) and was delivering it too me only to have the back engine cover fly off on rt 495. Mario did not lock the cover down and it was caught by the wind and flew off. This was a truly rookie mistake that could have easily killed someone. This is a much longer story than I have time to write here but after all the pain, anguish and time, Mario ended stiffing me for $200....sigh. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BOAT HERE AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PAY ANYTHING UP FRONT!

I wanted to trust Mario, but sadly he can best be described as a scam…read more He wanted 1/2 up front, fortunately I only gave him 1/4, because 6 months later I still have no engine back on my boat. He is great at providing excuses and stories of crazy circumstances. He will tell you that all the bad reviews are just crazy "liberal" customers that had unrealistic expectations. I read the other reviews and figured I'd give him a shot. Bad call. Don't make the same mistake.
