Crispy egg noodles with gravy sauce...it was so good! Love the presentation too.

Food was excellent as the last time. It was my friend's first time here. We ordered fried noodles w gravy and it came w the magic chop sticks & Thai omelette w shrimp. The Thai omelette reminds me of home when my mom makes it. Sorry the omelette was not quite in the pic.

Cool bar and grill. Service was very friendly, the music duo made the evening relaxing, and Thai food was a surprise for a bar and grill. Lots of flavor, decent drink, and laid back vibe.

Good addition to town. Khun Thai with a twist. Extensive menu . Live music some evenings.

Thai omelette, crab fried rice, grilled squid and grilled pork neck! Must try!

Food is great and reasonably priced. They have an outdoor seating so we brought our pup. Service is great and fast! Nice ambiance too!

Good food. Good prices, and friendly staff. Good music. Definitely a place you cannot judge by the cover.

I once considered The Beachcomber, here in Brookings, to have the best onion rings along Oregon and…read moreNorthern California. Similarly, I considered the best fries to come from Roxy Ann Bowling Alley in Medford. In the years since the two have closed, I have searched up and down Oregon for a new best, over 20 restaurants' onion rings, similarly many for fries. This place is my new favorite for both, as, though they are not to the same standard of the other two now shutdown places, they are on the cusp of perfection. The taste is perfect, with only minor discrepancies in the crispiness of their breading (in my opinion the fries could be slightly crispier, and the onion rings slightly softer), though they are still well above most. I wish them and their staff the best in their lives. Oh also they were pretty quick with our food, and they're a really solid price. Burger was good too. Will probably come back here in the future when I visit Brookings

I don't often order anything other than ice water with lemon, but this place has my NEW Favorite thing! The Train Master's Mule $9. Tito's vodka, ginger beer, soda water, freshly little mint with a wedge of lime. It's not listed, but it also had muttled raspberries, strawberry, a few blueberries and it was a welcome surprise. A unique and flavorful beverage. I ordered more than one :D Excellent service, pleasantly attentive, but not hovering. A casual local spot with freshly prepared eats and with a mixologist with skillz. Their daily special was also a hit! A grilled chicken, bbq ranch burger with cheese, bacon, onion rings and more. I will definitely come again when in area *thumbs up*

We had such a wonderful time at fat Irish kitchen! I was in Brookings for work with my wife…read moretraveling with me and we just didn't know where to go, our hotel receptionist said we should come here and man are we glad we listened! The vibe is exactly what you expect from a awesome little Irish pub. Lots of beer artwork on the walls, cool little tree of life art, and the friendliest staff you'll ever find. The bartender Holly was the most friendly bartender I've had in I feel like a decade or more, and the bar back Josh was pretty awesome himself. He gave us some wonderful tips for some other places to eat at as we travel around the state, and all in all both of them gave us some pretty epic conversation. We almost never said at the bar, we decided to this time and I'm so glad that we did! The food was so so, nothing to really write home about but nothing really wrong either. It's bar food, you get what you expect when you go to an Irish pub. Taco Tuesday was well worth it, I'm a pescatarian so I had the fish taco and then tried their awesome potato taco and enjoyed the potato taco the most actually! I wouldn't pay what they normally charge for these tacos, they're pretty basic and the tortillas are not grilled nearly enough, but Taco Tuesday made three tacos only $10.50 and I could mix and match between all the different types so that was totally worth it! My wife tried the honey mustard chicken salad and unfortunately it did not live up to what she had hoped for. It was a really basic salad the veggies were fresh which was fortunate but it was basic, nothing was really seasoned, the honey mustard dressing didn't taste like mustard at all and the chicken was basic breaded chicken that tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. It was fresh, but still tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. All In all, the drinks and the bartender will definitely keep us coming back. Next time it'll just be for some drinks and some fries probably, but I definitely can't wait to try the steamer clams with jalapenos.
