This has never been the case at Gluckstadt. They always pay close attention to our pets. They know our pets' names and they always notice any changes in their health and demeanor. The best endorsement: our dogs' tails start wagging because they are excited to see the staff. They communicate. They follow up. They always return the dogs happy, clean and well-fed. Other clinics we've used are too busy or too disorganized to provide our required level of attention and care. I would recommend Gluckstadt clinic to anyone for caring, thoughtful and capable care of their precious pets.

However, they charged us $60 for a basic bath. I was stunned at this price, and shocked by the attitude when I questioned why the price was so high. Not a flea and tick bath, just a basic bath. Then, when we arrive to retrieve our pet, he had a dirty nose, dirty paws, dirty feet dirt in his nails and muck in his eyes I question whether or not a bath was even given. Definitely would not recommend these folks. Or, at least make your priceless know I suppose it's my own fault for not asking but, I certainly wasn't expecting to be charged $60 for a basic bath. I could've done a better job with the garden hose. Based on customer service and attitude, alone, I definitely wouldn't recommend these folks. Welcome to Mississippi!

He and I have been delighted by the love and care that he receives from everyone at Lakeland, especially Dr Brown. When it's time for a checkup, I just say "Want to go to the vet?", and he literally jumps and spins with joy. We have been with Dr Brown the entire time, and she is awesome! She obviously loves Franklin, and he loves her. She provides consistently excellent care, and is great about communicating with me about his conditions, as he has diabetes, and needs the kind of veterinary care that Dr Brown delivers. And the reception desk staff is equally welcoming and supportive. Frank loves them, too, particularly Brandi, who clearly also loves him. Lakeland Animal Clinic is a welcoming, warm, loving place for my 10 pound dog, and he knows that, which is why he gets so excited when I say "Let's go to the vet!" Thanks to Dr Brown and Brandi I could not more highly recommend LAC, Dr Brown, and Brandi.

In all reality they are more concerned about their profits. This vet clinic if they don't like what you say, they will tell you to seek care elsewhere and say you are disrespectful versus acknowledging their failures or possibility they made one. I had a rescue they were paid in full to remove skin tags and do a spay and a full exam. Brooke Mitchell opened the dog up then stated she had already been spayed, probably early in life, however on the flip side during her initial check up she said she had probably had many litters. Dog was fine upon admittance, when she was picked up next day late afternoon had been having chronic diarrhea at the vet and ended up in the ER the next day with a several hundred charge. Another dog was misdiagnosed with conjunctivitis when she had eye tumors, I pushed saying it was a mass and in fact I was right not the vet. The front desk likes to overcharge as well so watch your bill. If a vet can't accept that she can make a mistake and their staff definitely makes mistakes and doesn't due her due diligence in an exam then that's an issue!!!!!!! If you want to pay someone and not ever utter your opinion then this is the clinic for you! This vet emailed me to tell me to seek care elsewhere because I was disrespectful, well I had already made that decision prior to receiving her email, funny how your staff is disrespectful and you have no issue with that, yet you can't accept a client speaking their mind and the vet tuck tails and can't even have enough backbone to pick up a telephone and call the former client. Mind you during all this I was extremely sick and ended up in the hospital myself and all this vet is worried about is her pride. Get over it Brooke, you aren't perfect and YOU DO make mistakes and we have proof and your staff sure as heck makes mistakes, your own employee at Forest Hill that worked at Byram on that Thursday brought to my husbands attention the overcharges (not first time mind you) so might want to learn to apologize from time to time. Thank you.

My wife and I didn't even get the usual sulky dog turning her back that night for having left her for a week.
