This was my first time ever visiting this clinic for service My first time owning puppies & letting them board @ a facility‼ I took my 2 small puppies on 6/27/25 - 6/30/25. I was quoted a price, when i went to get them it was a total different price when, i went to get them i was told they gave them flea meds, wormer meds just to make money i gave them their paperwork from just visiting their vet & having everything they needed. I addressed them giving my puppies what they already had the receptionist called me back saying the doctor said they had round wormsthat was impossible when they had previously visited their vet &i never saw no worms in my puppies poop 3weeks before their stay with y'all. I took them Jackson Animal Clinic & you gave my puppies what wasn't needed to make more money. Then i called to go to pick them up @ 8:30 i get there they said oh we haven't given them a bath yet can you come back @ 11 ⁉ I never knew they gave the puppies bath before picked up, i have a Yorkiepoo & a Maltipoo the Maltipoo had poopon top of her head in her hair & they really smelled, I went to my car got my spray i sprayed them with mouthwash diluted with water i use @ home to freshen them up when they come out my yard. I wasn't told about any of these services the gave & i had to pay for not needed wormer,etc ‼ read more

What an outstanding Veterinary practice! Dakota got sick on a cross-country trip and I needed to find immediate care for her. After doing a quick on-line check of reviews, I called the Jackson Animal Clinic; they saw her immediately, the care was outstanding, and the cost was extremely reasonable. Dr. Bewley and staff treated Dakota and I like we were long-time customers and not merely traveling through the area. I was so impressed with the care which Dakota received that if I lived in the Jackson, MS area, I would make this my home practice. I adopted a cat from MARL and with the voucher the shelter gives you some vets accept them for a free exam good for 7 days. I could tell the cat I adopted had a bad cold so I immediately took him up there after he was ready to go home. Sadly found out there was a lot more than that wrong with him. Thankfully the nice vet helped me out completely with everything and even was good to me on prices. Explained exactly what they needed and didn't need to to do so no extra charges and was even sweet enough to print me out a list of what needs at his next apt so I can make sure to have the money at the time. They were very cheap for the wonderful work they do and by far better than all the other over charged vets around! read more

This is my very often tried and very true vet clinic. Over the years I have had a lot of pets, from feral rescued kittens to badly injured house cats. The people at Jackson Animal Clinic are professional, respectful, and caring towards all clients and their pets. When you first walk in, you will almost immediately see one of the vets or vet techs ready to help you. They always make eye contact and patiently answer your questions, no matter how neurotic or seemingly obvious. Whether its a serious surgery or just picking up a dose of flee meds, these people take the time to get to know you and your pets. You can even call them and just ask them a simple question or raise a concern. Good people, great service- you can definitely trust these people with your pets. read more

This vet is the best in town. I have two dogs who have both been treated multiple times here. My pit/boxer mix was having a skin issue that our old vet just kept giving her antibiotics for. After a year or so of skin breakouts, we brought her here. They immediately noticed that she had a thyroid issue and a small pill everyday keeps her skin clear! No more antibiotics! These people are insanely caring and intelligent. I would recommend Jackson Animal Clinic to anyone. read more

This vet clinic is wonderful. I had two small dogs and one developed diabetes which required shots. They let me come in and learn how to give the shots and even practice them. I am not an easy pet owner when it comes to their health. I called many, many times and they still helped me to the best of their ability. Thank you. read more
